"A-are you serious?" Kence can't really believe the guy in front of him. Can't he see that he's still injured? Heck he can't even stand yet and now he wants him to train alchemy now?

"When did I ever make jokes with you?" Kence almost choke at those words. Merciless! This kid is too merciless! He is like a demon from the deepest depths of hell!

"The life or death you experienced makes your soul stronger and now is the perfect time to train. Do it or I'm the one who's going to kill you!" Without a choice Kence can only do as he was told. Knowing Sven, he might actually kill him if he didn't comply!

Kence hold out his still injured hand in front of the hovering grass pieces on Sven's hand and controlled his Bloodline power to encase it with ice. Frosty energy flow out from Kence's hand that caused a layer of ice to cover the grass pieces

"Now, defrost it" Kence almost lose consciousness due to anger. Despite his injuries and fatigue, he still do what Sven said and froze the grass but now he wants him to defrost it. How can his anger not rise because of this? If he was an old man, he might even have a heart attack because of this Sven!

"Do it!" Kence gritted his teeth before controlling the ice to defrost the grass. After the layer of ice was removed the grass inside it broke down to even smaller pieces, it almost turned into a powder. Sven threw the almost powderized grass and pick another one. He did the same and cut it into smaller pieces using his soul power. "Freeze and defrost it again but this time I want the grass to stay intact!"

Kence rolled his eyes and tried again. Another frosty energy came out from his hand that covered the grass pieces with ice. As soon as the grass froze, he removed the ice but just like the first one it almost turned into powder like substance

"Stupid! Can't even do something this simple. Try again until you fully exhaust your Bloodline Power!"

A few minutes pass and Kence tried to defrost the grass without turning it into powder but no matter how hard he tries he just can't do it. Even when his Bloodline power was fully spent, he didn't have much progress

"This is just the basic, if you can't do it don't even think of being a successful alchemist with your ice attribute!" At this time Kence is exhausted both physically and mentally. He fought in the class, Sven and two Blood Beast today plus his alchemy training. He doesn't have any energy to spare being angry at Sven

"Stand up! We are going back" Kence rolled his eyes before trying to stand but he only managed to lift himself a few inches above ground before his butt heavily landed on the ground. "Aw!" Kence cried out in pain

"I-I can't stand, I'm too exhausted"

"That's your problem! What do you want me to do? Carry you?" Even if it seems impossible hearing those words Kence looked at Sven with hopeful eyes. He tried as hard as he can to make himself to look as pitiful as possible. "I won't carry you!" Sven said while glaring at the kid on the ground

"But I can't stand because of you! Be responsible for your own actions!" A bullet size poison shot from Sven's finger that almost hit Kence on his cheek. Kence trembled in fear, that attack was so fast that he wasn't even able to react. If Sven wanted him dead it would be extremely easy for him to do that!

But even if he was scared Kence didn't back down and looked at stared at Sven. No matter what he does, Kence can't stand now. He's afraid that Sven will leave him here, if that happened, he would become helpless when a Blood Beast spotted him! He can't back down now and need to make Sven carry him into a safe place

Seeing the look of 'I'm not backing down' on Kence although annoyed Sven was also a bit satisfied. He needs to make the kid as tough as possible if not then even with the Ice Heart that will give him unimaginable talent he won't achieve anything

But carrying Kence? How can Sven easily do that, his pride would get hurt in the process. However, he also can't leave Kence here to die.

A minute passed that the two were just staring at each other and neither of them wants to back down. Sven gritted his teeth and decided that since Kence will be his underling it's not bad to do something 'good' for him

"Fine!" Kence's smile almost reached his ears. He knew Sven quite a bit, with his pride how can he easily carry other people? But now he succeeded! This can be a form of small payback to all the hateful things Sven did and said to Kence!

Sven turned his back and crouched down so Kence can reach him. If it were other people Sven wouldn't give his back to them but to Kence even if he wants to kill him he can't! If he sensed something, he would immediately unleashed poison all over his body

His poison source is the Life Extinction Pearl that contained the most supreme poison in the whole universe! Even if he can't unleash all of its powers because of the limitation of his body and soul but it was still more than enough to poison Kence to death thousands of times!

Kence happily hopped on Sven's back while his hand was holding the latter's shoulder as to not make a fool of himself and fall. Sven's hand hold Kence's legs and stood up to return to their dorm

Kence can feel the warmth coming from Sven's body. He can even see the clear outline of his "enemy's" side face because of how close the two are. Even Kence need to admit that Sven is really handsome

Sword shape eyebrows with long eyelashes, his green eyes radiated a poisonous aura that can make one lose their minds just by looking at it. Even his nose has a perfect shape, while his lips has a faint tinge of red. It's not as red as a woman's lip but a red one that has a manly appearance on it. Although he's just a ten-year-old kid but he already has quite a bit large adam's apple. Given a few years Kence is sure that this Sven would grow up into a fine handsome young man! Even the models on earth would pale in comparison to him

He doesn't know why but his heart started pounding like crazy while his face started to redden. "Breath on my face again and I'll swear I'll kill you here!" It was almost a perfect moment that Kence was drowned in but Sven's tongue is really as poisonous as him!

Kence made a hmph sound and turned his head away. If he was clear headed, he would find Sven's voice a bit hoarser than before as if he forced those words out from his mouth

Living for countless amount of years before, Sven naturally has many sexual encounters. But those were the only times that his body was that close to someone. However, now there's no sexual tension between him and Kence yet their bodies are this close to each other

This was the first time that he can feel someone's breath, warmth, and heart this close outside of sex. This made him feel some kind of emotion that he didn't know and that made Sven uncomfortable! With countless knowledge inside his head he should know what that emotion is.

But there's one thing that he knows though..... it didn't feel bad... it's also a bit nice...

Exiting the forest and entering the premises of the academy the students who saw Sven carrying Kence started to whisper and gossip with each other. Sven also gained quite a lot of popularity. If he came from a higher nobility clan and not the lowest one his fame would even be equal to Calter!

Although he is talented but entering the Noble Blood Rank is still extremely hard! It would be easier to higher Nobility Clan as they have much more resources aside from what the academy will give. It's still early to say if he will enter the ranks of the Noble Blood that's why his popularity was lower even with the talent, he shown

Even then there were some students that is interested at him. Especially those that came from organizations that can rival Nobility Clans!

Because of this, rumor of Kence and Sven having a 'special relationship' was spread like a wild fire in the academy!

At this time due to exhaustion Kence actually fell asleep while being carried by Sven. Which was the reason why Sven's expression is so ugly and angry now. How can he treat Sven like a moving bed and sleep like that!

Some students along the way whistled at seeing the two but Sven just ignored those 'lowly mortals' and walked to their dorm. Entering the dorm, Sven immediately went to Kence's room to 'dispose' of him

He was about to throw Kence on the bed but when he looked at his side and saw the kid's peaceful sleeping expression he froze for a few seconds.

Some of Kence's blue hair fell on his forehead close to his eyes. His long eyelashes will make even women to envy him. It's so long that from this close proximity Sven can see the clear outline of it. He can even feel Kence's even breath on his face

A loud gulping sound was unconsciously generated from Sven's throat being of what is happening. Kence's eyelids gently moved and he opened his eyes

The pair of green and blue eyes stared at each other neither of them know what to do. Sven can see his own reflection from Kence's eyes but he didn't care about that. He was drowned by those icy blue eyes that he didn't know what to do

This was the first time that the two of them were this close to each other and they are even looking straight to each other's eyes. However, the dreamy scene that looks as if it came straight out from a romantic movie ended

The next thing Kence knew was that he was thrown heavily on his bed while an angry Sven was looking at him. "A-aw!" Kence sat on his bed while glaring angrily at the kid standing in front of him

"Why do you need to that?! You can let me down gently okay?! Do you even know what the meaning of the world gentle?!" Kence's chest were moving crazily because of anger. It's like every actions of this Sven were made with the cruelest and harshest way possible!

Kence even doubt that Sven know the words gentle and mercy, he might not even know the meaning of those words! He's just always so rude and irritating!

"Next time don't treat me like a walking bed or...." the threat on Sven's voice made the anger on Kence to vanish into thin air. It's like he will really do what he said and Kence forgot that he was angry!

You can't blame him though, Sven's tone and the sinister aura he let out was a proof of his seriousness. Kence's body even sweat a bit because of his words

Without saying anything again Sven exited the room and went to his own. That was the only time that Kence was able to breath normally again

"Terrifying! How can he be this terrifying?!" For Kence even though this is a Cultivation World but just how old Sven is? Sure, it's not impossible to be that terrifying in this world but a person that terrifying should at least be twice his age!

At the age of ten he's already that terrifying then what more if he grew up then?
