Chapter 5 Introduction

“Alice… is the three of them the hero that has been summon?” (King)

“Yes your Majesty, all three of them is the hero that has been summon” (Princess Alice)

“Is that so then. Hmnn… three is it. How about we begin by introducing ourselves first then. So then, hero welcome to the kingdom of Kriesvikki. I am the current king that govern this kingdom at the present, my name is Esvobus Rasse. I also know as the King Esvobus” (king)

After the king introduce himself, the surrounding people all of them begin clapping including the knight and the people that line up at the side. So, we the three people at the center also clap our hand when we see that Princess Alice also clapping her hand.

“Hero, now you can introduce yourself. How about we begin with the young lady first” (king)

When the king said the young lady Erika show a shock reaction for a while before she introduced herself.

“What? Me… me… first” (Erika)

Erika then introduce herself.

“Okay. Hrmnn… My name is Chiba Erika. A first year of high school student. 16 years old. I came from Tokyo, Japan” (Erika)

After introducing herself, Erika then glance to the Akihiko beside her.

“My turn then…. Uhum… My name is Futatsugi Akihiko. I also a first year of high school student. The same as Chiba-san myself also came from Tokyo, Japan” (Akihiko)

Finishing introducing himself Akihiko then let off a sigh of relief and his face really show a relief expression. He really glad that already end is it.

“Ahem… My name is Nasrul, A second year of university student. 21 years old. I came from Malaysia” (Nasrul)

While introducing myself my eyes dart toward the rest of the people surrounding the king to identify the subtle expression that they show to know whether the next decision that I need to make will not gouge me from the back.

Then moving the sight of the eye to the two person that situated beside the king and queen a little to the back, Nasrul saw the expression that both of them give him. The one that close to the king give a disdain gaze to him while the other one is looking at him as to determine his character. The one that give him the gaze of disdain look at Erika with the expression that look at their prey.

Looking at this the one that close to the King must be someone that belong to garbage. Must take countermeasure on killing him with the most cruel and excruciating method. Gonna break the fucker mind in passing for hobby.

“Heroes Chiba and Heroes Futatsugi, I am sorry if I am wrong about this as we do not really know much about the other world. Did the both of you came from the same country” (King)

Hearing the introduction gave by the Hero, the King feel bewildered a moment because it sound like during the introduction that the Hero gave he heard something like two country name. Although he do not know he take a step to ask them to confirm his suspicion.

“Yes, as your Majesty said both of us came from the same country. While Nasrul came from difference country” (Akihiko)

Hearing the answer giving by Akihiko the king nod to himself and then giving a serious look he began to tell them on the problem that he think happen.

“I am sorry to say this Hero. The thing is that it usually only one person that would be summon to this world but the thing is that here right now there is three of you” (King)

“Is there a problem when there three of us?” (Akihiko)

“No, no. There is no problem with the three of you been summon here. It can be said that we are lucky to summon three hero to protect us. Even though it look like there is a problem I think there is no problem for three Hero to be summon here” (King)

Looking at the three people that was summon to this place the King decide that the three of them must be the Hero because it was said in the record that every Hero that was summon gain an ability more than normal person. With three of them here he can make use all of them more efficiently.

“I am sorry if it look like I am in rush but we need to determine whether all of you are the Heroes that was summon here. So we need to run some test using a magic tool to determine your affinity” (King)

“Well I do not mind. How about you two” (Nasrul)

“No problem” (Erika)

“Ok” (Akihiko)

When the King propose to determine their affinity using the magic tool, Nasrul think that he should accept it. This is because of the world that he is right now enable them to use magic. So, knowing their affinity will be a good step to know to what kind of magic he might be able to use.

This step can also shorten the need to experiment with every kind of magic that exist. By applying the knowledge that Nasrul has he determine that using magic will be something vital to his safety. Whether he want to protect himself or saving his life from danger with magic it can determine his live and dead.

Although he do not know what kind of magic that exist in this world the concept should be not be that far to what he think. Because by using the natural law that exist he will not be able to breathe the air in this world if it had that much different. He can use the air around him and it provide oxygen to him so it must means there oxygen in the air in this world.

The difference must be in the content of the air that not exist on the earth. It make me wonder how it work.

After the king heard the reply from the three of them he then called the person beside him to bring in the tool for determining the magic affinity.

In a minute after that a person that wear a white robe came from the back bringing some kind of sphere shape crystal. Along with it the assistant beside him brought a small table probably to place that sphere shape crystal. The king then said that the sphere shape crystal is the tool use in this country to determine someone affinity. Looking to the time that they brought the tool here it must be that it has already been prepared and place close to this place. There must be a room at the back behind this throne.

Placing it in the middle between the King and the Hero, the man wearing the robe then give the explanation on the tool use for determining affinity.

“This tool use the mana in the body. It is done by detecting the kind of element in the body of the user and this tool react to every element differently. For every element it detected the color that will be reveal in this orb show the kind of the element that it detected the user has an affinity with. Like the color of red for the fire affinity, blue for the water affinity, brown for earth affinity, green for earth affinity and yellow for lightning affinity. This five was the basic affinity that at least a person will have one of this affinity. There two element that can be considered as the most rare affinity. It is the light and dark element. The light affinity will give the color of white while the dark affinity will give the color of black” (Roberobe)

“You means that there seven element overall” (Akihiko)

“No, it not only this seven. There a lot more other affinity but it is only a minor affinity than this seven. This seven can be said to be the major affinity among the other” (Roberobe)

“So how do we do it? Placing our palm the….. orb” (Erika)

“Yes, it only need the palm to be placed on the orb” (Roberobe)

Then the three of them measure their affinity to know which of it that the element can be used by them. One by one Akihiko, Erika and Nasrul place their palm on the orb while the Roberobe looking at the orb to determine which of the affinity that more divert to them.

After the affinity of the three of them was measure, the hall erupt with a large murmur because between the three of them someone had the high affinity toward the light one of the rare element that people have affinity to. That person is Akihiko. Having the highest affinity toward light most of the people give a high attention to him. The noble at the surrounding talk excitedly about Akihiko been the real Hero.

Not only that there one other person that also received attention. This is because of the affinity to the dark can be said to be highest ever record in the history of the kingdom. So many people give attention to him and became vary. This person is Nasrul. Unlike the time with Akihiko when it was known that Nasrul had the highest affinity toward darkness most of them became silent.

Most of them pay attention to the darkness element because most of the darkness magic system monopolized by the demon and also dark magician. It became the atmosphere that where tension can be seen on the air.

After that the King talk a little on what will happen and the help that they need. With that he also introduced his son the first prince that stand beside him name Roman and the second prince that stand near the queen name Ramiel. End of the talk the people was then dismissed and the Heroes was brought to each of their chamber.

Although most of them vary toward Nasrul between all of them only four people that show an interest in their expression. Unlike the other that see the highest affinity to dark making them vary but to them the other affinity that Nasrul had making them more astonished because none of the people ever exist had that kind of affinity. The four people were the King, Roberobe, Prince Ramiel and Princess Alice.
