《Nephilim: Beyond Good and Evil》Chapter 36: Reunion

Terios opened his eyes and realized that he was back at Kodomo's house. His body for the most part had healed up aside from a few bruises here and there. Holding tightly onto his hand was none other than Setsuna who was watching him from the time he was brought in.
"What happened?"
Last thing I remember I was... Kazuki!
"Teri-kun... I'm so glad you're awake." Setsuna said.
"Setsuna...? How long have I been out for?"
"Eli brought you back a few hours ago."
"Do you know what happened?"
Setsuna shook her head and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm just glad you're ok."
"I'm sorry I worried you."
Terios moved his hands to hug her as well.
"Ahem. Stop hogging my brother all to yourself!" Akari shouted.
"He doesn't want to see you right now."
"He never said that!"
"Akari, you're awake?"
"Yes. Kazuki hit me harder than I was expecting, but I'm all better."
"Speaking of Kazuki where is he?"
"…"
"Huh?"
"Kazuki's nowhere to be found. Neither are those group of Angels."
Did Kazuki win? Or did he lose to him? There's still three more seals that we have to protect. We don't even know where they are yet, damn it.
"What are we going to do now?"
"I don't know."
"There's nothing to worry about." Setsuna said as she nuzzled against her brother.
"There is and his name is Azazel..."
"He won't move until he knows you're awake and well rested." Akari said.
Yeah, I hope so.
Meanwhile at Kazuki's hideout.
Hillel, Emi and Shizuka were all standing together as they began to discuss their next move after not hearing from Kazuki in quite sometime.
"Well, Nogah and Kazuki went M.I.A, we can only assume that they're dead." Hillel said.
"Stop kidding around, Hillel!" Emi scolded.
"It doesn't take this long to squash a few ants. He probably got too careless and ended up dead."
"You shouldn't say that about Kazuki. He's very strong... he wouldn't die." Shizuka said shyly.
"I'm just saying. Being dubbed as the strongest Nephilim can certainly raise your ego. It's only natural that he would make a slip up."
Emi simply glared at Hillel who instantly went quiet from her eyes locking onto his features. Suddenly, the group could sense something familiar. An aura they have previously encountered. Feeling that Emi decided to go outside while Hillel and Shizuka followed.
Once they had arrived outside they were greeted by none other than Akihisa who waved lightly.

"Oh it's him." Hillel mentioned.
"Looks like your low on manpower." Akihisa said.
"Yeah no thanks to your father's crazy plan." Emi said.
"You went along with said crazy plan. Anyways, I'll be calling the shots for the next phase of the plan as it’s a very personal matter."
"What is it this time?"
"Father's ready to claim what's rightfully his. Our next seal will be the seal of death."
"Oh how interesting." Hillel added.
"You'll be deployed to that location so you can unlock the seal. I'll deal with my dear old brother."
"Terios?" Emi asked.
"That's the one."
After a few days of resting and regaining his composure Terios got a message to come over to Kodomo to chill for a bit while they discuss where the other three seals could be located. Terios placed his phone back into his pocket before he decided he'd hang with them.
It's time I asked that favor of you son.
This was Azazel's voice echoing inside of his head. What did he want now? Was he finally calling to claim that wish he had mentioned earlier?
"Stop talking to me. I don't want anything to do with you."
How about your friends? As we speak Akihisa is getting ready to butcher every single one of them. While on the other hand Emi and her friends are heading to the second seal.
"You bastard you better not have forced him to hurt my friends!"
Hahaha. My only wish is that you unleash the seal yourself.
Terios began to sprint for Kodomo's house easily, picking up speed as he witnessed trees and people just blur past him. He was sure of what to do first. He had to save his friends before anything bad happened to them.
After awhile Terios had arrived at Kodomo's house and forced open the door. When he entered the room he saw Akihisa sitting on a chair holding onto a knocked out Akari. While Eli and Ira were passed out on the floor.
"Akihisa...."
"You don't know how long I've waited for this."
Akihisa said gently as he stroked his sister's head.
It was surreal to see how much the two of them looked like one another. Even more now that they were face to face.
"Terios. Today I will finally be able to prove to father that I deserve his affection. You're simply a mistake."
"So he's not making you do this?"
"No. I begged him to let me do this. I want to hurt the person I hate as much as I can."

Looking down at Akari he brushed a finger against her cheek before he cupped a hand around her chin. His dull purple eyes then glanced back over at him.
"Look brother. I don't know why you hate me, but just leave Akari out of this."
"Hehehe! Are you really asking me this question?" Akihisa took a stand, keeping Akari in his arms while one of her arms dangled. He began to walk closer to his brother.
"I am."
"You're the one people pay the most attention to. Hell they forget I even exist. You have no idea how much I suffered because of you!"
"I've suffered just as much."
"No, no, no, no! You only think you've suffered. In reality you had it easy compared to me! You were lucky enough to have a loving family! A wonderful home and now you have friends who actually care about you!"
"…"
"I've had to endure being forgotten and alone. Feeling loveless and left behind. Over the years I had to harden up and realize that I was nothing."
'You're not nothing. You're Akihisa. My brother and I'm sorry for everything you've went through. I want to help you now that you're here."
"Now you're trying to treat me as if I need your help? Hehehehe! How pathetic!" Akihisa dropped Akari's body onto the ground watching as she landed onto the ground before he placed his foot on her.
"Akihisa... stop."
"I'm not afraid to kill her. It'd be as easy breathing." The pressure he applied with his foot increased causing her to groan out in pain.
"I'm giving you one last time to remove your foot from her."
"Or you'll do what? Kill me? Hahahaha! Just try."
Terios clenched his fist as he charged for his brother and tackled him off of his sister. The two rolled along the floor until Terios was on top. Clenching a fist he slammed it into Akihisa's face before grabbing onto the collar of his shirt.
"Listen to me! You need to stop wasting time!"
"Is that all you got? I barely felt that!"
Akihisa swung his head and head butted Terios causing him to stagger lightly with this oppening, Akihisa reached up and grabbed him by the throat, slowly sitting up before he started to choke the life out of him.
"This feels so good. Seeing you struggle by my hands."
"Ugghhh!"
Terios clenched his fist as it became embedded with his darkness. Soon he crashed it into Akihisa's gut who moaned out in pain which made him release his grip. It was strange how his attacked made him seem a little bit to joyful.
"So good... is this what you can do with your shadows?"
Terios took a stand and backed away while Akihisa held onto his gut and laughed seeming to enjoy himself.
"I don't want to fight you."
"You have to. It's the only way we'll settle who's the better son. I'll finally have my answer!"
"I don't have the patience for this."
Terios held out his hand and formed a tendril of shadows which fired out into Akihisa's gut. Holding onto him he swung his arm back with all the force he could muster and sent him flying through the wall and out onto the ground.
"I have to stop them from releasing the second seal. But, I don't know where its at... but Akihisa probably does."
Terios walked on outside and grabbed his brother by the collar of his shirt before he raised him into the air.
"Where's the second seal located, Akihisa?"
"Why would I tell you that?"
"Tell me I'm not playing around with you!"
"He's right Akihisa. The time for games are over."
"…"
Terios looked above him and saw that it was none other than Azazel who descended down upon them with his six wings spread out. He had such an evil grin on his face that some could confuse him for the Devil.
"The games are ending son and things are getting a lot more serious. It's time I just finish you off so I can release the remaining seals."
"Azazel..."
Terios dropped his brother onto the ground as he turned to face his father. Seeing him here of all places caused him to clench his fists as tightly as he could. He was venting with anger and hatred for the man who gave birth to him.
"You aren't happy to see me?"
"I'm... going to kill you!"
Terios shouted as he rushed toward his father. Using the previous move he did with Akihisa he formed a tendril of shadow which fired out toward him. The dancing tendril rammed into the Fallen Angel, but it bounced off of his skin.
"You still lack the power to harm me. Me on the other hand..."
Azazel held out his right hand as it was coated in his black flames of Hell. They released the agonizing sounds of the lost before he released a wave of the stream toward his own son. Terios stood firm as he watched the flames approach him. It was now or never his father was putting the final pieces together and only he could stop him.
