Entering deeper into the forest which started to rain with blood, Kazuki and his friends could see someone huge, a giant even standing before them. This tall being was about 15 feet tall and held a large sword within his grasp. He had a devilish appearance his skin was completely red along with his eyes.

"What the hell is that!?" Emi shouted.

"It's one of the horsemen. As for which one I'm not quite sure." Kazuki said.

"We'll leave this to you, Kazuki. I'll take the girls back." Hillel implied.

"Thank you."

"I'm staying here." Emi mentioned.

"If I'm worrying about your safety I can't do my best."

"Hmph. Fine." Emi pouted and went along with Hillel and Shizuka who wanted no part with that monster.

"I am War."

"Kazuki Mikami."

"Along with my blade I shall bring forth bloodshed and carnage. My soul only knows vengeance and battle."

Kazuki hovered his hand over his blade while the giant raised its blade into the air and began to swing it down. The force that it brought the large blade with was so strong that it caused wind to blow around the area violently.

Kazuki was taken by surprise, yet he unsheathed his katana and quickly parried the attack. The clashing of the two blades caused a large shockwave of air to rush out, ruffling his hair and clothes.

The giant was shocked with how the small Nephilim was able to block its attack. Kazuki remained calm and forced the monster back before he slowly placed his blade back into his case and as soon as the 'click' sound was heard blood shot out from the monster's wrists.

"How did you manage to cut me?"

"Not how. When. Before I blocked your attack I also cut both of your wrists."

"In such a short amount of time?"

"It's easy when you can move at the speed of light. This is why beating you will be no problem for me."

"Don't be so sure."

War released a war cry, a large surge of red energy forming around his body. His muscles started to throb and grow in size while he continued to scream. His teeth clenched tight while he raised his sword and rested it along his shoulder.

"You increased your energy?"

"The angrier I get the stronger I become. My power is limitless! Something you'll soon find out!"

War swung his blade, causing a windstorm which chopped up pieces of the ground. It was all thrown at Kazuki who stood in place, covering himself with his blade. He wasn't budging an inch.

War swung his blade to the side while Kazuki was left wide open, a swing this powerful would easily rip anyone in half. However, Kazuki wasn't just anybody. At the last second he moved his blade to block, causing a shockwave of energy to erupt from the attack.

When everything became clear, War's hand was completely severed and Kazuki's blade was covered with red blood. The horseman yelled out as he clutched his stub. His sword rested on the ground.

"Here. Take your weapon back."

Kazuki went over to pick up the weapon and tossed it to the giant who caught it with one hand. The horseman was growing angrier and angrier by the second and soon he yelled out again. His muscles throbbed and his energy increased.

It was certainly frightening. His area of effect was just now kicking in and it was causing wraith along the land of the living.

Around Japan brawls and riots were occurring for no sensible reason. People were murdering others senselessly and setting flames to shopping centers. Police officers were shooting random strangers and criminals were killing one another.

This energy War was releasing was toxic to everything around him. He'd have to be stopped soon or else who knows what the body count would equal up to.

Kazuki clenched his blade tightly by the hilt and moved forward. War was preparing to guard, but found out that he couldn't keep up with the man and in an instant Kazuki was behind him.

His blade made another clicking noise as he placed it back within his holder and this time War's other hand was severed, leaving blood gushing out all over the place.

"Damn you! You can't be human!"

"You're half correct.'

"But you shouldn't be able to enter this domain!"

"I'm half human. You don't need to worry about the other half."

"ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

Another shockwave was produce and energy surged through War. Without his hands how would he fight though? He wouldn't let that stop him, he had another idea in mind. With the force of his legs he lunged into the air, soaring high like a star until he was ready to fall.

He began plummeting back down onto the Earth with the intent of landing directly on Kazuki who would be crushed on impact. The Nephilim sighed softly, slowly extending his blade as he stood in place.

Time appeared to slow down because right before his feet touched the ground, Kazuki leapt into the air, swinging his blade as he sliced his foot off. Then he'd travel along his leg, slicing as much as he could as he made his way up his body.

With a few more cuts he went up to toward the giant's head and with a fearsome cut he sliced the monster's head right off. Kazuki landed back onto the ground while opponent was no more. The Nephilim with the help of his light speed managed to slice at the monster so many times and so finely that he was reduced to mince meat.

The giant wasn't even heavy enough to cause any form of impact with his great fall and with the battle over Kazuki placed his katana back into his holder. With the horseman's defeat a large wave of energy shot up into the sky. It was visible to all and signified that the first seal was broken.

Elsewhere.

Kodomo, Eli, Akari and Ira were just now making it to the forest where they saw the flash of light. They were startled as they didn't know what that meant. This only made them pick up the pace.

The group was hoping to run into Kazuki, but instead they were greeted by the being known as Nogah.

"What's this? A touching reunion?" Nogah asked.

Nogah's hair was a shade of brown and kept nicely slicked back, hitting by his neck. He stared at the group with light yellow eyes. Covering his body was a green and white stripped shirt along with a pair of tan shorts. His right arm was covered in bandages for some reason.

"Nogah..." Eli mentioned.

"You're wasting your time. None of you can defeat me. And if you can't beat me then beating Kazuki's impossible."

"We're still going to try."

"The seal's already been broken. Only three more remain. This will just be another walk through the park."

"Eli. You guys go on ahead. I'll chill with Nogah here." Ira said.

"You sure?" Eli asked.

"Yeah bro."

"Good luck."

"What makes you think I'm going to let any of you pass me? I'll take all four of you at the same time." Nogah said.

Nogah raised both of his hands, in one formed a ball of wind while in the other a ball of fire. He soon combined both of them, spinning out a fire vortex which shout out at the four.

Ira quickly summoned a wall of super dense water, stopping the attack in its tracks which surprised Nogah a bit. "Hurry on out of here. I'll handle Nogah."

With this the group quickly charged pass Nogah who didn't show an interest in them anymore. His eyes were locked on Ira who had managed to stop his impressive attack.

"Interesting. I see you've been learning new tricks." Nogah said.

"A bunch more where that came from."

Moving on forward, Eli, Kodomo and Akari were now a great distance away from Ira and Nogah. Still, the result of that battle would be unknown.

"Are you sure he'll be ok?" Akari asked.

"Yeah. I believe in Ira." Eli said.

"He'll be fine." Kodomo said simply.

Strange enough, the group noticed that although they were moving they weren't making any progress. It could only mean one thing; Hillel. Knowing this the three stopped in their tracks and looked around the area.

"Where is he?" Kodomo asked.

"Fancy running into you lot here. How did you find out about this place?" Hillel mentioned as he appeared behind them.

"None of your concerns!" Akari shouted as she turned back to look at him.

"You should all know that you're too late to stop us. Our goal was reached and now we'll just be able to kill what serves only as a roadblock."

Descending from above happened to be Emi who was holding onto Shizuka. Her wings were black like the fallen had been.

From her appearance she was a fine young woman, she had orange hair styled into medium length twintails with black ribbons attached to each tail. She wore a cute red dress stopping by her upper thigh with the short sleeves having frilly ends. On her feet were red and white stripped socks stopping just under her knees. Over her arms were red satin gloves resting before it hit her elbows and above her nice sized chest was a red bow neatly tied.

Much like her hair her orange colored eyes stared at the group who had followed them into the forest.

"Things don't seem to be looking so good, Eli." Kodomo said.

"I know that." Eli replied.

"Why are you guys here? Have you come to your senses yet? Are you willing to join Kazuki's side now?" Emi said while holding onto Shizuka.

"You know that's not why we're here. We're putting a sop to this war before it begins. No good will come from this and you should know that. Would your mother really support your actions?" Eli asked.

"We won't know that because she's dead."

Shizuka glanced up at Emi and showed a sad expression on her face. She had no idea that this was what it was all about regarding Kazuki and Emi.

"Let's just finish them off now and spare Kazuki the effort. You should be more than enough to take care of these weaklings." Hillel said.

Kodomo yawns slightly into his hand before he glances over at Hillel and then shifts his attention to Emi. "Talking isn't going to change anything." Kodomo held out his hand as a white light filled it before a machine gun became forged into his hands. "Before things get too boring let's liven it up a bit."

Emi's eyes began to shine the Nephilim's usual light grey colored as she gave off a frightening smirk, the sky would flash a few times with lightning and loud thunder could be heard. The chain of events caused Shizuka to latch on tighter to her as black clouds surrounded the skies forcing the area to darken gradually.

The decisive battle was set and now the two sides will fight with everything they have for their intended outcome. Will Terios be able to make it in time before the worst comes to reality?
