Chapter 21
-Me-
Ah, as much as I wanted to stay, rather docile I don’t think I can. I know I said I would but, the more I think about it… the more I think about it, the less I think it’s possible. I’ve had enough time to think about it. I was out for about a week, 6 days 13 hours 32 minutes and 48 seconds to be exact. To short a time? Hardly. It was actually more than enough. Enough to decide, screw the world. I’ve decided that I’d take the world. I can’t hide them, but I refuse to use them in my plans. It will be human versus human, strictly. When I take the world, not if, it’ll be far easier to give them a safe place. My view is twisted? Heh, yes. Yes it is. I’m fully aware of how twisted my view is. Acceptance under the act of oppression is not acceptance, but tolerance. Quite the difference I’ll have to say. But I’m tired. I’m… so tired. I just want to rest.
We all want a fairy tale ending. I… don’t care. I just want my siblings… Crysea… the Syrlyns, I want them all to be happy. How hard can it be to make 326 people happy? Only nine percent of that number being adults, the harder to please type. Heh. Heh heh. Ha ha ha ha!! First I’ll start with the current world leaders. Thanks mom and dad for making such a great name for yourselves, you’re going to make my job so~ much easier. What’s next after that? War? Genocide? Heh, who cares, this is my world now. Ha ha ha ha Ha HA HA!!
-Me (The next day)-
“Welcome gentlemen! Thank you for gathering here today!” I shouted as the four world leaders sat in front of me.
“You’re welcome. I assume that it took quite the effort to get here today, huh?” The leader of Pilum sneered. Jereck was it? Hmm, it was him wasn’t it?
“You, Jereck, right? You shut up. I know you attacked Crysea two and a half weeks ago, and don’t try your little roleplay of innocence. I don’t have the patience for it. Ru.” I stunted that trash before anything could be said then directed my attention to Ru. “I believe Crysea should have come to you with some information correct?”

“Quite so, I have agreed to your stipulations.” Ru confirmed. Great! Delightful. Now to continue.
“Right right, there’s a big reason why I had yall called here today!” I gave a slightly twisted smile.
“As it would seem. Care to explain?” Drek huh? He should be the inquisitive type.
“Naturally… I’m taking the world!” I exclaimed spreading my arms. The leaders, except for Ru, started to get a little restless. Did I say little? I meant quite unsettled. As it should be. “First off, I need to cut some loose ties.” I announced and with rapid succession I pulled my hidden gun out and shot Jereck in the head. Twice. Naturally the sudden noise startled everyone. Ah, I forgot to mention there were a few guards and civilians floatin about. I guess they could be political pawns or something? Dunno dun care. It did catch their attention though. Let’s start the fun!
“The hell did you do!?” Kraug shouted causing the guards to finally recollect themselves and train their guns on me.
“Ho? What does it look like? Cutting ties. Did I not say it? A person like him is no good.” I shake my head while I answered him. “Heh, Drek!” at my words he jumped. How adorable.
“W-what?” He answered slightly panicked.
“You focus your attention on culture and politics right?” just look at him shake. Dude, chill. I ain’t gonna kill ya, yet. You haven’t done anything to warrant me killing you.
“Y-yes. My country’s focus is revolved around that. W-why?” duuuude caalllm dooowwn. Ah, maybe I should put my gun away. That would help huh?
“Sorry, lemme put this away.” I said holstering the gun. The tension reduced only a little. There was, after all, still a dead body near them. “Now to answer your question, there’s a few people who are… unfamiliar with human culture due to some… circumstances. I’d like to show them around. Now, I want to do this is a completely legal and normal way. I won’t assert myself because that would only be me being unbecoming. I don’t want that.”

“There would be some paperwork and clearances to pass through to enter the country.” Naturally.
“Get me those. Now, everyone. I’m letting you all know that as of now, the world will be under my control. Any who have a problem with that…” I paused. Dramatic pausing is useful you know? I may hate it but, quite frankly, it’s effective. “I’ll kill em. Duh.” I shrug my shoulders while saying this, aaand another restless discussion.
“As if we’d just concede to you. You may be the child of a prestigious couple, but that’s it. Just a child.” Kraug, I’m surprised. No, actually, that’s a lie. I expected this.
“It’s a shame.” I shot him in the head. Twice. This time the guards opened fire on me. Of course I had my shield on so none of the bullets reached me. “Now, the ramifications of killing two big shot leaders is huge. Not just personally, but it can crash the whole country or alter the intended path I, or we, were intended to go on.
HA! I don’t care. I don’t care about politics. I don’t care about order. I don’t care about ‘the people’. Heh, I don’t care about humanity. Now, the latter isn’t true to an extent. I don’t believe in genocide, but I have no issues causing it. I will be a tyrant if I have too. Push me, and I’ll stomp your guts into the ground. Now, I also don’t intend to be an idiot tyrant either, I’ll hear you out, at the very least. Those who wish to concede to my rule will be given safe haven, those who are against, in any form, will die. Simple as that.” I finished and shrugged my shoulders. “Now, guards, since you did not know beforehand I’ll give you the chance to choose your side now. Take a knee if you wish to serve.” I offered.
The guards looked at me and then between themselves, probably debating whether or not I’m lying. I’m not. I fully intend to spare those who submit. It took a little bit but a few started to take a knee. One by one till all but one remained. There’s always that one. Well, I’m curious so, “Why?” is all I asked.
“We have no guarantee that you won’t kill us like dogs, so I’ll stick with my pride and oppose you to till the end.” Oh ho? Commendable but…
Bang.
“Unfortunately I do not need people who oppose me right now. Maybe later down the line when I start getting out of hand, but not right now. As promised, you can live. You can stay or leave, I don’t really care.” I waved my hand and turned to face Ru and Drek. “Now, Ru, I need some soldiers. Good ones.”
“Our alliance only commenced and already you request something of me.” Ru made a sound argument.
“I’m sorry. I did not want to but your country’s focus is defense and I need exactly that. I’ll repay in full in the future. I promise, but, right now, I need 1000 of some of your great or best soldiers. I have equipment they can use, and keep if the job goes smoothly or better, so you probably won’t have to worry about them dying.” Why tell him some of my hand? Because if I remember correctly, the more I keep from him the less trust and support I’ll get. Lies don’t work on Ru.
“Very well then, I’ll trust you this one time. Do not disappoint when I call upon you.” Ru, thank you. Thank you so much. I promise, you won’t regret this.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. With no choice but to survive and grow, he now needs to confront those feelings he thought he locked away for good.
