Chapter 15
-Me (3 months later)-
So it's been three months since I made that appointment with dick-face and Rita is supposed to show up today. Though I have no idea when. Dude just pops up whenever and wherever he wants. The way he sees it is as long as it's been accomplished it doesn't matter when he does it. Annoying, sometimes, I tell ya. So over the course of the three months I finished the mods for the ball that I tested in the city and it works beautifully now. It acts like an attack drone that will hover around me and lock on to anything deemed a threat within a 100-meter radius. It's a complete badass! I swear though, I might have accidentally created an A.I because sometimes when I call it stupid it'll zap me. What's up with that?
"Annoying little brat." I told the ball.
Zap.
"You little shit! that hurt!!"
Zap. Zap.
"I WILL DEACTIVATE YOU!!!"
It stopped. Sheesh. I gave it a name as well, Dyo by the way, and it seemed to be ecstatic when I gave it such. Seriously, are you alive or something? Anyway, another update is that Crysea and I have been going on late night strolls and it's awesome!!! ...Okay I say stroll but it's just her picking me up and blasting off at top speed in here actual form. Don't get me wrong, I still love it just as much, but sometimes I wonder how I get away unscathed from that. She broke the sound barrier once and I passed out from that. Seriously, you are way too op. Breaking the sound barrier, the hell?! Remind me to never get on her bad side. Moving on, I plan to show her one of the best nights ever!!
So apparently, back home, her planet had four moons, yup, four, so they never had a new moon or moonless night, whichever ya wanna call it, before. This month's new moon is supposed to be the best for viewing stars. No clouds, no moon, the planet is at a great position for you to see the whole galaxy. I have been eager to show her since I figured out she had four moons. I wonder if she'll like it. It's one of the most beautiful sights I, personally, have ever seen. You know, aside from Crysea herself. You know how hard it is to keep my thoughts in check around her? Damn near impossible. I've managed so far and I need only do so for another week.
What about the weapons? Thanks to the practice they got from the others using them I was able to get invaluable data in which allowed me to improve the weapons capabilities by about 132 percent. Such as adding firepower, launch velocity, removing time on cooldowns, and I was able to give the assault rifle that I personally use a third barrel. What for? Well, that's a secret. Heh heh. Anyway aside from some adjustments and upgrades, no new weaponry.
However, I have started on a new tech entirely. I have no idea what to call it right now but it's a suit that projects a kinetic barrier in a 1-meter radius from any and every point on the body. I've been testing it and it can completely stop bullets right now. It's plastic to a railgun but still, unless it's something powerful and I'm not going to war with a country then this thing can stop bullets without care and some explosives. The armor itself can stop a few bullets so it's super awesome. When the project is complete I'll make sure, somehow, that it'll be able to stop even my experimental sniper shot.

My doorbell rang. Oh, I wonder if it's Rita. Surprisingly Crysea is still asleep and it's already 1000. Oh, well nothing worth worrying over. "You're surprisingly early for once." I said to Rita as I opened the door.
"It has been a while so I figured I would come sooner rather than later." Rita explained as calm as ever.
"Oh, well cool! Means more time here so that's cool." I gestured for him to enter the house and he entered taking off his hat. "Still polite as ever."
"Manners are the difference between man and animal, an undisciplined brat is no better used for cattle than an obedient sow." I felt as if he took a jab at me with that remark. Well, I did punch him in the face upon meeting him last time, maybe he is still upset about that. "No it's not about the punch." Okay dude, don't just nonchalantly read another guys mind, it's creepy as hell.
"Then what else could it be?"
"Not you, some people are starting to antagonize my gang and I am trying to keep another war from starting. So what did you need me for that you needed me to come twice before your appointment?" he got straight to the point.
"Oh, I just wanted to hang out today. There was really no reason for your stay today because everything I need to say can be covered in the next three months’ meeting." I replied in a carefree manner.
"Then was it necessary to say such a thing in such a manner in the first place? You could have simply just asked." This guy.
"You know, you're the leader of a gang now so I can't really just say 'hey come and play with me today' at any random moment now can I?" I reasoned.
"Yes." This guy!
"But you're the leader of a gang!"
"So?" THIS guy!!
"Don't you have responsibilities and whatnot?" I asked bewildered.
"Yes, I do, however, family is more important. Even for simple enjoyment." this... is just too extreme. I know you're all for family and what not, but that's... to shirk on your duties as a leader just to go play with someone is just irresponsible. Oh right, I remember now. He's just like that. Oh well I guess.
"Anyway, aside from hanging out I also wanted to show you this! I have named it Dyo and it's a brat for sure." I proudly announced. Zap. "You little punk! I'd stop calling you a brat if you'd stop zapping the shit out of me every time I do call you a brat you brat!!" Zap zap. "Grrrr." It appeared as if we began to have a stare down, even though it's only a ball with no eyes to stare at me with but I do not care!!
"So you finally made an A.I?" Rita inquired.
"I think? It can think for itself so I guess it could be an A.I, though I don't know how an A.I works so I couldn't tell ya. Hey, I work with weaponry and defense, not A.I.'s." I explained.
"Isn't there a thin line between the two?"
"Don't get smart on me now." I retorted. Jeeze this guy is just a living troll, I swear.
"Nice to meet you Dyo, your creator can be an idiot at times huh?" Rita you traitor!!! Dyo floated about in a gleeful manner when asked by Rita. "But he is your father so therefore you need to respect him when he tells you to do something, and he also needs to respect you as well." Rita gave me a condescending glare. What? Okay, fine. I'll stop insulting Dyo, so stop looking at me like that. It hurts coming from you you know?!

"Fine, I'll be nicer." I conceded. When I said that Dyo gave me a warm buzz that felt as if it was trying to give me a hug. How nice. I gently pat the little guy in return. Father huh?
'Sky~ good morning' Crysea spoke in my thoughts.
'Ah, good morning, sleep well?' I returned.
'Yup, thanks' she replied, I could hear her coming down slowly. Must still be a little groggy. Wait, that sound... Isn't she a Syrlyn right now? 'Oh, it's that friend of yours' she stated naturally upon seeing Rita and continued on into the kitchen. She's been trying to cook lately so she generally goes straight to making breakfast upon waking up. I'll tell ya, she ain't bad right now, but she used to make charcoal for breakfast. That was... painful.
Rita just stared silently as the never before seen giant creature walked passed him in a carefree attitude. "Um Sky. It seems there's something you haven't told me that would, in fact, be deemed a very important detail that I would need to know."
SHIT!!! I totally forgot to explain Crysea to him, at the time we just wanted to get out of the city so I kinda forgot to tell him. Heh heh, oops. "Right, that was Crysea, the girl you met three months ago, it's just that that is what she actually is. A Syrlyn is what they're called, and she happens to be the queen." I proudly and boldly informed him.
"Well as strange as you are I can't really say I'm too surprised, but you are aware that she is a monster right?"
Once he said that I grew instantly cold and glared at him with the eyes of a demon "She is not a monster, she is a person as are you and I. She may be an entirely different race than us but she is still a person nonetheless. I don't want to hear that again."
Rita winced. A rare occurrence. "I apologize, I meant it as a subjective statement not objective." he gave me a humble bow to prove his sincerity. This guy bows to no one mind you.
"It's fine, it's just, people are too quick to judge just based purely on appearances instead of trying to get to know the person themselves. That's going to be one of the issues as well." I gave a small sigh.
"Issue... What is going on?" he asked. damn, nothing gets through this guy. Guess I'll just tell him. After breakfast though, I'm starving!
"After breakfast. I'll tell you everything after breakfast." I stated but when I went to turn around instead of seeing the hallway to the kitchen I instead saw my house being blown up in the distance. Wait what? My house blowing up? Aren't I in my... Huh? Crysea? Why are you carrying me and Rita? weren't you cooking? After my thought process finally caught up to the situation I panicked a bit. What the HELL?!?! Why Is my house being bombed?! Milkein! That bastard!! I never thought he'd actually go this far!!
'Sky are you alright?' Crysea asked anxiously.
"Yeah I'm fine. I think I may have passed out momentarily from you going so fast in such a sudden manner. Rita?"
"Good here. It seems that Milkein is a little overly eager to get you out of his hair. It's a little early but I'll call the gang." Rita declared.
"Dammit I haven't been able to gather anyone yet. It's going to take more than just us to take Alpha and I can't reveal Crysea yet so this makes it even harder. Dammit, Crysea!"
'Yes?'
"Take us to the bunker. I don't care if we pass out but get us there fast and undetected."
'Yes.'
When I woke up we were in the underground area that I keep all the weaponry, experimentals, and whatnot. "Rita, I have some weapons for you and a sword that you'll enjoy. Crysea, I'm just going to have you avoid combat as much as possible but if you want to join in," I gave her plasma based pistol, "use this. It has an auto lock on feature so if you can't hit them accurately without it just activate it, mark your targets, and pull the trigger. The gun will do the rest.
Rita, a light machine gun, never know why they are called light when they're freakin heavy and rip shit up, and a plasma based katana. The plasma is vibration activated, when you swing it in the air as fast as you usually do, the plasma will encase the blade and some of it will even fling at your opponent if you miss. It's made of Tyrandyl so you don't have to worry about it breaking. The LMG has both plasma and rail tech, you can alternate between the two or combine them. Flip the switch on the handle.
Dyo, go get me the armor please." I don't take bombing my home well, normally a person would prepare however that would also give them time to prepare. I'm hitting them right now to throw off their defenses at least a little. It's a little rash but I'm tired of this guy. Any longer and he might screw over someone else as well.
"You sure about this Sky?" Crysea looked anxious when she asked me this.
"Yeah, the only one dying to day is that trash. Don't worry, I'll finish him off quickly." her anxiety did not dissipate.
"It's been a long time since you last made a rash decision. I'll make sure to enjoy this turn of events." Rita seemed to be a bit happy. Good, when he's happy he's dangerous.
After we geared up I brought them to an unintroduced area of the bunker. "This is my parents’ vehicle. An all-terrain, vehicle, and I mean all terrain. It can fly, act as a sub, travel through magma, speed through a tornado, and traverse rocky plains. That's the simpleton’s explanation. Get in. Rita, you're driving."
"No complaints here." Rita complied and entered the driver's seat.
"Go." I gave the order and the vehicle rose to the ceiling which then parted for it to escape the bunker. You've pissed me off for the last time Milkein. It's time you payed up in full, and, just as I predicted, they were unprepared.
"I guess we're doing this." Rita gleefully announced.
