After the guard let us in, we were surprised at how crowded this Kingdom is, people walking from here to there, huge carriage with extravagant designs passing around, people with either axes or sword in their waists or back, some female wearing cloak and armor, a battalion of knights marching, people arguing over there, guys flirting some group of girls, and especially people staring at me or should I say staring at Nika.

"Let's find an Inn first." Nika suggested and began walking.

I nodded and followed her.

We began walking around, we asked some people if there is a Inn around here, after receiving the direction we followed it. It didn't even take half an hour we already found one. It was 9 stories high and it looks like this Inn is an extravagant one.

Going in, i saw a lobby huge enough to fit a hundred of people. The designs of the Inn is just simple, wooden chairs and tables, some flower vases in the table and a counter that was occupied by a male receptionist, the lobby is empty and we were the only one inside. We walked towards the counter and was greet by the receptionist. If you inspect this receptionist, you can say he is skinny, not malnourished but maybe underweight. He has brown eyes and black hair, a typical Asian guy. But what stand out about him the most is his scar from his left cheek passing through his neck to his collarbone. This guy is the typical bully victim with his skinny body and pretty much his carefree expression but with that scar he can be intimidating.

"Welcome, what can i do for you." He said calmly, he looks like he's not even fazed by Nika's beauty. Before Nika responds, i replied.

"We want to rent 2 rooms." I offered.

"Do you want an Ordinary room or a-" I interrupted him. But if this place is fully booked then why is the lobby so empty?

"Ordinary." Since i still don't know the currency of this world, and im afraid to spend carelessly. I really feel ashamed for always relying to Nika. I have money but its from my world and it seems like the money here and there is different after I heard the entrance fee 5 silver.

"Do you want to pay right now or after checking out?" Great, if its in this case maybe i can learn the currency of this world and try to earn some money.

"After Checking out." I replied.

"Okay sir, let me check for rooms." He took out a kind of book and flips through it looking for something.

"Im sorry sir but it seems like there is only one Ordinary room left." Now this is bad, I looked at Nika to see her reaction.

She just nodded and seems like she is okay with it.

"We'll take that." I confirmed.

He took out a key and gave it to us. "Please proceed to room 14."

We took the stairs. The first floor contain room 1-5, the second is 6-10, the third is 11-15. We stopped at third since our room is fourteen, we looked for the room, unlocked it and went it. It seems pretty ordinary, white walls and a bed, there is also a room for a bathroom.

After we got in Nika immediately settled down the bed.

"What a tiring day we have!" Nika complained.

Really? With your END at 9000 you get tired this easily? It should me that's supposed to be tired.

"Just settle in, I'm gonna ask something to the receptionist." I walked out after she nodded.

Arriving in the lobby, i looked around for the receptionist but seems like he's not here. I approached the counter and saw some-kind of a crystal ball with a label below it "Pour mana to call the receptionist."

Well excuse me, i'm sorry if i cant control my mana yet. Seems like I need to wait.

As i was about to turn around a head appears below the counter. He was polishing? I don't know but he was scrubbing a weapon, a huge two handed symmetrical axe, maybe its a request for some customer.

"Yes?" It was the receptionist.

"Uhh. I want to ask something." He tidied himself and gestured me to go on.

"Im from a neighboring village and Im just new to this place, so can I ask on how can i earn a bit of money here?" I asked.

"Wait you dont have money?" I bet he was thinking im not gonna pay him and just leave.

"No of course I have" lies "its just that, Im planning to live here temporarily and I need some money to do that."

"You do know that this is an expensive inn right?" Looks like he still didnt buy that.

"Yeah, I know so can you answer my question?"

He sighs.

"The easiest way is joining the adventurer guild, accepting quest, try not to die, completing it and collect the reward or money." He uninterestedly said.

"And how can I join them?"

"I don't know, i never tried, how about going there now? Seems like they are holding some kind of an activity maybe its for recruiting new adventurers , usually this lobby is full of people but now its empty because of the recruitment." He shrugged.

So that's why. I wondered why this Inn is empty despite its fully booked of customers.

"When does it end?" I asked.

"Until there is no one left to try out."

"When does that usually end?"

"Dunno. About a week or so." He just shrugs "But today is the most visited day since its the first day of recruitment."

After he said me that information, a blue screen appeared in front of him.

"Sorry, I received a call. Let me answer it." He then clicked it. "Hello?"

I mouthed him thanks then proceeded to the stairs. As I trudged towards the stairs, i can faintly hear him said something.

"For the last time Rhud-" I didn't hear any since it was now out of my earshot.

I arrived and knocked on the door to let Nika acknowledge I'm here. Nika didn't answer so I just went in.

I gasped, Nika was sleeping but despite her usual cold expression she's sleeping while wearing an angelic face. I almost didn't recognize her. I strolled towards her but I stopped again as I looked at her again but this time closer. Call me a pervert but if you are ever in my situation, you'll do the same, she is just so angelic regardless of her being a Dragon.

I attempt to wake her up but decided not to. I don't want to disturb her seemingly peaceful slumber.

I walked towards the chair in the corner and rested my head on my palm. Thinking about what happened since I came to this world. As I was thinking my drowsiness overtook me and slept.

I woke up with someone poking at my cheek.

"Mggmphh-Stop that." I demanded and I saw Nika poking my cheek, she seems enjoying it.

She retracted her finger and regains her cool demeanor look. Now that I looked at her, she was shining maybe she just got finished bathing since there was a towel wrapped around her hair, specks of hair peeking out here and there. She turned around, I can see her ear turning red but maybe that was because she got out of bath but her neck damn, shit im being a pervert here.

"Wait, I wanna ask you something?" She turned and looked at me.

"What?" She cocked her eyebrow.

"What is the average stats here?" Is it just me or I saw a flash of sympathy in Nika's eyes?

"A child has an average stats of 1-5, if a normal person of your age doing efforless training or practice is around 10-15. Don't misunderstand, the stat is only for your combat capabilities, it wont hinder your daily life like walking but its still essential for earning money." She looked away. I guess im far too weak.

"I'm going out, be back later." She said and turned around like she's avoiding something. She removed the towel that was wrapped around her hair and tossed it in the bed, her red now sparkling hair falls slowly and naturally before leaving.

I suddenly felt a needle-poking sensation in the hand, i guess my hand was still asleep.

Let's use this time to study my Class. I opened my Character info.

I'm still dissatisfied about my stats, I'm so weak, weaker than an average teen. I feel pretty useless. I thought that every MC in the story is over powered? But me, whatever this is life, life is unfair. I should use my class if needed, I know it will make me a overpowered person but what? for only 2 hours and after that i'm dead and even if i survived i still need to wait for a day to use it again. I feel so overpowered yet also so underpowered.

I steeled my self and promised to become stronger so I can atleast protect my self from danger without inconveniencing Nika.

I just sighs.

Next i touched the tab labeled as 'Items'. Its just a list of items I currently have like, White Shirt, blooded pants and shoes. That's the only things I have in my Item bag, not even money. At the bottom left displays my Money and guess what 0. But I noticed something on the upper right, its an Icon that-wait what is that? is that a glass, magnifying glass? Maybe that's for information i'm gonna look at that later but let me check the other tabs first.

I clicked the Spell tab. Its also a list, but there is only one spell that was there. 'Fireball - Summon a fireball that deals moderate damage, but can be stronger depends on how much Mana is used. Mana = 10'. Would you look at that, an offensive spell, i'm sure it can help me a little bit but TOO bad my Mana is only 2. There is also the same icon in the right upper corner.

Seems like I can only use this if i can activate GM again, but maybe I can use it with my mana being 2 but just weaker? My positiveness crumbles down when i read a text below.

'Using spells with not enough Mana can lead to serious consequences or even death' Great.

I sighed again.

I proceeded to the next tab and clicked 'Skills'. This time there is 4, thank Mika. First is 'MirrorS'. I hope its useful despite its name. The next is 'RemovalS'. I'm having hope with his one. The third and the last one have the strangest name 'Skill potent' and 'Item potent'.

SKILLS:

MirrorS - To Copy or Mirror the Stat of a specified person and making it yours. The specified person stat wont be subtracted. You cant activate the skill 'MirrorS' and 'RemovalS' at the same time, you can activate the other skill if you deactivate the skill you're currently using.

RemovalS - Removing the Stat of a specified person how much you want. The amount of stats you remove wont transfer to yours. You cant activate the skill 'MirrorS' and 'RemovalS' at the same time, you can activate the other skill if you deactivate the skill you're currently using.

Pry - To forcefully look on another persons Character Info.

Item Potent - ?!
