The Start of a New Arc

"What does this mean?" I looked at the invitation screen then back at her, "Party?"

She looked at Mika who was showing her wicked grin again.

"Just accept it, it’s pretty obvious it will come to this, after all it seems like this is her plan." She pointed at Mika.

I don’t really know what's going on so i just accepted it.

You are now in a party.

after i pressed yes, it revealed this.

"Great!" Mika exclaimed. "Since it already became like this, let's not beat around the bush."

"What do you mean?" I asked. I looked at Nika to find some answer but she just nodded like just go along with it.

"Let's start." Eh what start?

"Start? What?" I asked again, I glanced at Nika and it also seems that she, like Mika, is now grinning ear to ear, like she was excited at what will happen.

"Your Adventure."

Suddenly a blinding light appeared like in the classroom; on reflex i quickly cover my eyes. The slight heat i was feeling earlier due to the place which is on a volcano disappeared, and it looks like the spell Mika casted on me disappeared too.

I slowly opened my eyes, i was standing and the first thing i see is Green. Grass, it seems like the green was grass, which covers my knee. I immediately scan around and found myself in an open plains of grass, but i can see some trees that looked like a forest.

Character Items Spells Party Contracts

I muttered 'Info' and a blue screen appeared, above the screen there are some tabs, like in the internet, _ tabs. First is 'Character' which includes my Name, Title, Class and Stats. The next tab is 'Items' next, 'Spells', 'Party' and 'Contracts'. Looks like the 'Items' tab shows what items i have in my inventory and my inventory seems like a dimensional storage or what you called that. The 'Party' tab is a list of people that is on my party or list of the members on the party I'm in, it also includes the Friend list. Finally 'Contracts', I really don't know what 'Contract' is since its empty, but based from the name, it looks like all the people you have been contracted with? I don't really know.

I pressed the tab on my Character.

Seems like it’s still the same back then, but the only thing changed is the time. Mika told me that my Class has some sort of cool down, and it seems like I only got 38 minutes, and after that i can only use this again after a day.

Wait wait wait, isn't this bad? For 38 minutes i can only use this. if this is survival of the fittest, the moment the time expire...WAIT, if I'm on a party with Nika..

I immediately click on the 'Party' tab.

Party: -NIKA-

I pressed Nika's name, and it revealed some information about her.

Name: Nika Level: 9 Current Location: Unknown

"WHAT DOES Unknown means!?! What will I do from now on?!" I shouted.

Suddenly I heard a low growl behind me.

*Gulp*

I looked back.

"!!!"

A BEAR!! Not just a normal bear, a humongous bear, 4 meters high. Worse thing is, it’s only a few meters behind me. Even though he is full of hair, i can still see his not-like-normal-bear-from-earth- Body!! Its arm twice as thicker as Nika's male form arm, which is still big.

Crap, i was so focused on describing the beast i didn't noticed it already raised it arms to slap me. And with my SPD(Speed) and AGI(Agility) stat which is still on 1, even though the slap is very slow that i can follow it with my eyes, I still can’t dodge it with my AGI so low!! I covered my face preparing the impact and, of course, my death. I felt something touched my forearm, and a little bit of wind. Im still waiting for the impact, but nothing came except some being continuous touched on my forearm. I decided to open my eyes and i was astounded.

The Beast was still slapping me, even though it’s so slow, the strike is so so tremendous that its making my feet sunk into the ground (which i didn't noticed) but i still didn't feel beside a feeling of being touch. Wait, is this the result of my END being 5000?! I looked at my screen (still floating the whole time) and noticed the time became 0:11. WHAT?! only eleven minutes left? After eleven minutes all my stats will return to 1 and I STILL DONT KNOW how to use my class, Mika didn't told me.

Crap Crap Crap, if i don't defeat this bear within 11 minutes, I'm dead for good!!

I decided to fight, the bear raises his right hand to slap me again but i planned to try and catch it, I don’t know if my STR will be enough for this bear. As the bear raised his arm down to finally slap me, still slow though, I grabbed his hand. I heard a loud roar!

"Ehh?" I muttered suddenly. I was expecting to even hold the bear’s wrist but why does it feels like the moment i grabbed its wrist and closed my hand it feels like I'm just gripping nothing. I felt some liquid landed on my left cheek, i looked where the substance came from.

"!!" I really caught the bear’s wrist and was crushed by my grip. I immediately released my hand, and the right hand of the bear was hanging limply, it looked disgusting like...I can’t describe how disgusting it is, but its arms looked like a balloon, the long one, being twist.

Crap, again, I was busy describing it I didn’t noticed the bears left hand doing a back-hand-strike on me, i immediately deflected it on the elbow, i stopped it but its forearm continued and hit me in the face! But still i didn’t feely anything. And its left arm is now dangling like a broken pencil.

The bear wailed in Pain, he seems realized that he had no arms to attack me so he just charged at me, planning to tackle me. I tried to punch its stomach, it feels like it didn’t hit anything but actually my fist penetrated its stomach!

I suddenly hear a 'Ding' sound/

*Ding*

A blue screen appeared.

"You Defeated 'The Lord of the Plains', since you defeated a special kind of beast: Double Exp Reward"

I immediately got excited despite being covered with the Blood of 'The Lord of the Plains'. Then another screen appeared.

You Received: EXP 2872 (1436)

And again another screen appeared.

"You have leveled up!"

I immediately looked at my 'Character'

Character: Name: Lorenzo D.(Don) Valentino Title: God's Favorite Class: Game Master (0:02) Level: 18 Stats: Strength 15(+4999) Agility 15 Endurance 2(+4999) Luck 15 Char 15 Mana 15

==Few Minutes Ago after Mika teleported Lorenzo to the Plains==

"I already transferred Lorenzo, why are you still here?" Mika asked Nika,

"I'm gonna go after him later, but first..." Nika looked at Mika with concern and worries.

"...are you alright?" Nika eyes are full of concern.

Suddenly, Mika dropped to her knees, covering her left eye.

"Damn, It hurts more than i expected." Her voice is hoarse, forcing herself to speak struggling the pain.

"..Of course it hurts dumb butt, i can’t believe you actually gave up one of your divine powers just for..*sigh*, my tier 9th healing magic can’t even reduce the pain you're suffering, i just hope its totally worth it." Seems like Nika scolded her. But the concern look in her face is still there.

"Im su-re its wo-..rth- it, i st-ill have a d-ebt from h-is pa-r..*cough*." She still tried to speak.

"Stop. Just rest, take it a day or maybe two." Nika tapped Mika's shoulder to re assure her. "How about let me send you back to your domain before going after him?"

Mika just nodded.

Nika raised her hand and pointed at Mika, suddenly Mika disappeared and was sent back to her domain.

After sending Mika back, Nika teleported to where Lorenzo is.
