Luki's Inner Power started to surge. It was because that he entered enemies territory and he could only act alone.

"You guys should go back. Leave the rest to me alright." Luki was rather kind at treating those giant ants because of their solidarity and hard working nature, which he really admired.

Luki also used his other source of power, the Immortal Decree. Actually, he had read the opening words that had been written in the decree. Now, Luki tried to recall it once again.

A beginning has been paired with an end

Like man and woman

Young and old

But they could unite, despite the difference

With the decree in my heart and immortality in my soul

I shall keep the oath that has been applied since the creation of this

Even Luki felt a strange things came from the words that he had read before. He really curious who the hell create such the decree and spread it to the worlds.

But he could only read until that part and he did not know the reason for that. He felt that his body was being covered by the layer of the energy that the Immortal Decree produced. He would use this as the second layer that enhanced the first layer that produced from his Inner Power.

This was the method that he could utilize, multi layered power. Added with his memories about the move that Vera had let him seen, Luki could fight with more aggressive if necessary.

Sense Domain activated. 'Still no presence here.' thought Luki but he realized that the position he currently right now was in a plaza. The red mist rendered the eyesight useless and Luki could not see more than a few centimeter due to the density of the mist.

'No wonder those soldiers can not regain their formation quickly, it was because of this.' as he walked around the plaza, Luki had seen that the density of the mist was centered around the source. And the source could direct the mist as it pleases.

Suddenly Luki felt a dangerous killing intent lurking around the mist. He gripped his daggers and ready with his one hit move stance. Then, a shadow figure leaped t him at the fast speed possible.

Luki could see the figure of the beast. Had two hands that longer than human and even those hands could be folded like a door hinge. Its claw was in a form that likes to catch the opponent instead of tear it.

Luki blocked the strike with his dagger but soon found out that even with his multi layer power, he barely held on the sudden strike! The sound of metal clashing could be heard and Luki moved side stepped to decrease the intense pressure.

But the beast movement also did not lose and followed Luki's every movement like dancing. Luki parried the claw strike that the beast had launched and in turn, he also used the dagger to stab the beast.

"Kuh!" Luki just found out that the body of this beast was strong enough to make his dagger unusable for the exchange. 'Should I use the greatsword?' he thought but he refused to do it.

Even with his Ant Muscle Strengthening, he still could not match the speed of this beast. Then the beast jumped high to the sky that surprised Luki even more. He could feel the beast that could produce the mist but the direction was not above!

Then the beast that jumped opened its mouth and from the mouth, a light produced in it and it grew larger and larger. After a second, the light turned into the large fire that the beast released, changing it into the fireball.

'Don't tell me!' Luki would not want to believe it but he now was sure that these red mist....was flammable.

Luki returned to the hole that previously had been dug by the giant ant colony. He covered from the attack there by running to the opposite direction from the exit! And of course his prediction was correct as the fireball came in contact with the red mist, the mist got burned and increased the range the fire could spread!

"How about those people outside?" Luki forgot about them due to his mindset. He felt bitter in his heart but could only pray for their safety.

He could hear the burning sound that produced from something that was caught on fire. Luckily, he had been underground not like the buildings outside. The fire engulfed the entire city and then it started to spread to the corner of the mist too.

"Fire! Even the beast screamed because of that fire. We need to escape!"

"I don't want to die like this!"

"Let's move out from the mist now!"

The soldiers finally retreated but most of them were ended up the same as the beasts that attacked them, roasted to death. Even the smell of toasted meat could be smelled within the radius of five hundred meters. They even heard the pleading from their comrade at their last moment, which was a nightmare.

But the least casualties, of course, came from the assassin guild. They could move fast and adapt to the tide of battle so their maneuvers were good. The man that became part of the assassin group was looking at the plaza where the fire came from.

'Why I feel that someone was there?' but he could only guess without concrete proof.

Yes, most of them now lost not due to the overwhelming monster but maybe by a tactic from the enemies. This made the lieutenant that commanded the troops now terrified.

Luki climbed up and appeared once again from the hole like a rabbit. He surprised to see that despite the destruction and the large area of effect the attack cause, the source of it was not even moved in the slightest.

"Damn!" and even the previous opponent still alive but the body was burning! Ash and dust flew as both of the creatures fight with their body!

But Luki saw that the body of that beast already burned but also increase the weak point. 'Is it because that the body has been burned that the skin becomes weaker?'

Now he was sure about it because the strike before was to annihilate the troops and himself but at the same time, it also weakens them! Luki smiled and this time, he infused his Inner Power to his fist at the left hand and to the claw in his right hand.

While the fist showed the characteristic of style but the claw on his right hand showed the characteristic of that Vera used against him. "Fist in my left hand and the claw in my right hand, combine!"

Luki struck the abdomen of the beast using his fist first. Then chained it with his claw which hit the exact same target. This increased his favor because he also realized that the speed of the beast reduced by almost forty percent.

"Haaa!" left, right, left and right again. While the movement of Luki increased due to the weakness the enemy had shown but it also due to the excitement he felt. The adrenaline surged and pumped his heart at the faster rate while at the same time,

One hit, five hit, ten hit. Then Luki grabbed the beast by its head and threw it at the certain direction where the source of the mist resided. The sound of something hard crashed could be heard from that place and then, a roar also followed soon after.
