It was late in the afternoon at Kurogage Acadmey everyone was heading home after a day full of sitting in a wooden chair listening to a teacher drone on and on save for one student who was standing on the rooftop watching as the other students filed out group by group it was a boy he was sweating bullets and his heart was pounding hard in his chest knowing what was just about to happen he brushed his light brown bangs out from his eyes which were a bright shade of hazel and his name was Mokichi Amaya "Whats taking them so long?" Mokichi asked himself as he looked at the open enterance of the rooftop. "I told them to meet me up here as soon as they could" Mokichi sighed growing anxious as he stood waiting for four certain people to join him "They always make me wait" Mokichi said trying to take his mind off what was about to happen he turned his back to the door and went back to watching the students walk out the school "Can't believe today is the last day of school" Mokichi said as he smiled watching his fellow students leaving Mokichi was going to be a highschool student next year but before he focused on that there was one thing he had to take care of.

Unbenounced to him as he watched the students rushing home four people walked onto the rooftop and the four of them were all girls one was slender and tall with short black hair she had a cool air about her and she was blushing like crazy as were the other girls "Mokichi-kun" the black haired girl called Mokichi looked over in response to his name when he saw the four girls looking at him he smile "Ah, your finally here" he said and he walked over to them "You girls must know the reason why I called you here on the last day of school" Mokichi said looking at each of the girls that stood before him the four girls nodded and looked at each other and looked at Mokichi "You've finally come to a descion haven't you?" the black haired girl said Mokichi nodded the girls fixed their eyes on him he looked at the black haired girl first "Sami-chan, I met you first.." he said to the black haired girl and she nodded she was Sami Uchina a girl Mokichi met the first day of school at first the two of them were at odds with each other but soon the two grew fond of each other "Maki-chan I've know you the longest" he said to the girl beside her she was Maki Yumiya his childhood friend she had blonde hair that stopped at her shoulder blade and she had stunning blue eyes which she got from her american mother.

The girl named Maki had been with Mokichi for so long and the got along so well it was thought the two of them were already a couple but that wasn't true at all they were merely childhood friends yet Maki actually wanted the friendship to become something else Maki smiled at Mokichi "Moki-kun" she said using the childhood nickname she was so fond of calling him by Mokichi smiled back her then looked at the girl next to her she was fairly short and she had long arburn hair that went down to her waist that was adorned with ribbions she looked at him with her bright green eyes "Miyu-chan it was good getting to see you again and spend time with you after so long" he said the arburn haired girl was Miyu Shizuma a girl whom he met during a trip during vacation when he was a kid that he though he would never see again until the day during his second year she transfered in.

At first he didn't remember who Miyu was at first because of how much time had pasted since they saw each other and she had grown to look different images of what she looked like as a child flashed into his head the same girl had become very beutiful and she had many other boys viying for her yet after being with Mokichi for that short time when they were kids she developed feelings for him "Makun" Miyu said with a smile Mokichi then looked at the last girl who was standing in front of him she was of medium height and she had short spikey brown hair and her stoney grey eyes where shining as Mokichi looked at her she was a very bashful sort and she looked away her face bright red "Mari-chan" Mokichi said the girls body jolted after she heard him say her name she looked slowly back at him she was Mari Yukamo a girl that he came across during his third year she was always alone in class and she never talked with anyone due to her being so shy one day Mokichi worked up the courage to talk to her at she was to shy to say a word she never really talked with anyone before.

To have a boy talk to her was a real surprise to her but soon after that she had gotten use to having him talk to her each and every day what made her fall for him was how he helped her be able to get around her shyness and talk to people more "Mochi-kun" she said trying her hardest to make eye contact with him each of the four girls standing in front of him had feelings for him which made him hated by other male students that admired each of the girls that were standing before him and as of now the time had come to make his decision on who he'd choose to be his lover Mokichi took one last look at each of the girls the girls eagerly awaiting his words Mokichi took a breath "I have finally made a descion.." he said and he took another breath "I've come to like each and every one of you" Mokichi said he couldn't believe he was about to say what he was going to say the whole time he mulled over who he'd choose but after much debate he came to the conclusion that he liked each of the girls equally and it was hard for him to choose one over the other and instead of choosing one and making the others unhappy he came to his answer. Mokichi smiled thinking what he was about to say was the right thing "I'm not choosing any of you" Mokichi said the girls looks of love soon turned into that of total shock and confusion "What are you saying Moki-kun?" Maki asked the other girls where still looking at Mokichi in disbelief "Whats the matter Maki-chan?" Mokichi asked concerned "What do you mean your not choosing any of us?" Sami asked with a look of hurt and anger on her face "I like each of you so much I couldn't come to a final decison" Mokichi explained "So, insted of making anyone unhappy I've decided that this was the best decsion" Mokichi said each of the girls had a hurt expression on their face "Makun..." Miyu said and suddenly she ran off crying "Miyu-chan!" Mokichi shouted as he watched Miyu run off "I don't understand" Mokichi said "Whats wrong with you guys?" Mokichi asked "Moki-kun..You.." Maki said "I'm out of here" Sami said as she walked off "Sami-chan!" Mokichi called "You no longer have the right to call me that" she said "I can't believe I fell for you" she said as she disappeared down the stairs "Sami.." Mokichi said he looked at Mari who wasn't even looking at him at all she said nothing "Mari-chan.." Mokichi said with a weak smile. All Mari did was walk off not saying a word "Mari-chan.." Mokichi said with a hurt look he then looked at the last girl standing in front of him his childhood friend "Maki-chan.." he said Maki looked away Mokichi felt tears come down his face "Maki-chan.." Mokichi said again Maki didn't answer Mokichi waited to see if she was going to say anything "Moki-kun..your an idiot" was the only thing she said and she to walked off Mokichi went to his knees "No..what.." he stammered "I don't understand.." he cried "Did I..Did I mess up?" he asked himself "Sami..Maki..Miyu..Mari.." Mokichi said repeating the four girls names "What did I do!" he shouted to the sky.

Mokichi tossed and turned in his bed as he slept "Sami..Maki..Miyu..Mari.." he said in a in a dreaming tone Mokichi's eyes shot open and he shot up from his bed "I'm sorry!" he shouted fully awake in a cold sweat he placed his hands over his eyes "That dream again.." he said with a sad tone "Why did it suddenly come back.." he asked this was the first time in years that he dreamed of what happned that day so long ago on that rooftop of his middle school Mokichi slowly got out of bed and sat at the edge and held his head in his hands "Why now.." he asked why of all times did this memory from the past have to come back to him "Why.." he asked he could still remember the sad and hurt looks on each of the girls faces "Mochi?" came his mothers voice Mokichi picked his head up "Yeah mom?" he said "Are you alright?" his mom asked with a concerned tone "Yeah mom, I'm fine" Mokichi said "Are you sure? I heard you scream" his mom said "Really I'm fine mom just a bad dream.." he said "Oh, okay Mochi" his mother said "Make sure you get back to bed you have a big day tommorow" his mom said "I know mom" Mokichi said "Night dear" his mom said "You too" he said and he heard his mom's footsteps move away from his door down the hall back to her room "A big day indeed.."Mokichi said to himself as he looked at his highschool uniform hanging on his closet door ready for tommorow it was still alot to take in only a few weeks ago had he moved from his hometown and he would be attending a highschool where nobody he even knew went to.

But it was a good thing as he didn't have to be in the town where his most tragic memory was made he wouldn't be able to take it if he was still back there "This will be good..a fresh start" Mokichi said to himself still the dream he just woke up from was still swimming around his head he shook his head to make it go away "I gotta get back to sleep" he said and Mokichi layed back down in his bed it took him a while to get back to sleep after being awoken by the dream he had but after a while he fell back asleep and woke up the next morning to his younger sister calling his name "Hmm..Ruri?" Mokichi called sleeply as he rose out of bed "Nii-san come on!" his sister shouted Mokichi looked over and saw his sister standing in his room looking at him with her hands on her side she was wearing a middle school uniform Mokichi rubbed his eyes and yawned "You seem ready for today Ruri.." he said with a smile "Sure am!" Ruri said "How do I look nii-chan?" Ruri asked spinning around "You look cute Ruri" Mokichi said with a smile "Ahha! Aren't I!" Ruri said with a giggle "Anyway come on Nii-san!" Ruri said "Mom says you have to get ready" she said "Alright I'm coming just get out of here" Mokichi said "Like I would stick around to see my brother changing" Ruri said "I'm not a pervert" she added and she walked out Mokichi sighed "I remember when she wasn't so much of a fireball" he said Ruri use to always want to be around him whenever he was around when she was little there was no keeping her away from him yet after she got older and now that she was starting middle school her whole attitude towards him changed "Those were simpler times.." Mokichi sighed.

Mokichi streched in his bed and let out another yawn "Better get ready.." he said and he got out of bed and he changed into his uniform he then went into the bathroom to make sure everything was fixed right Mokichi looked at himself in the mirrior he had gotten older since that day he dreamt of he was now seventeen years old he had gotten taller since then and he let his hair grow out to his shoulders he use to always keep it short but as to not be reminded of that day he let it grow out and not only was it longer it also had gotten darker his hair was now a shade of dark brown which he contrasted with some streaks of blonde which his mother was against but she gave up trying to make him get rid of his highlights he passed his hand through his hair fixing it it was a chore to fix his hair but he didn't mind his now dark hazel eyes looked back at him and he smiled "Looks good" he said and he walked out the bathroom and headed into the kitchen.

When he walked in his nose was hit with the sent of breakfast he sat down at the table with his sister his mom turned upon hearing him sit at the table "Ah your up finally" his mom smiled "Morning mom" he said "Dad at work already?" he asked when he didn't see his dad anywhere "He left earlier you just missed him" his mom said "I see" Mokichi said "If you didn't sleep so long maybe youd seen him off" Ruri said "Ruri!" his mom fussed "No mom, Ruri's right I did sleep in" he said "Alright.." his mom said and went back to making breakfast she soon had it placed on the table "You kids eat up and when you done you best be on your way" she said as she took her apron off "Okay mom" the two siblings answered before the dug into their breakfast the quickly ate everything on their plates "I'm done mom!" Ruri said and she got up from the table and put her plate in the sink "So am I" Mokichi said getting up and doing the same "Okay,you two better get a move on!" their mother said "Alright!" they answerd and they rushed to the front door and got their bookbags and slipped their shoes on "Were going mom!" Ruri shouted "Alright see you later!" their mom called "Seeya mom!" Mokichi called and the two of them walked out the door. Mokichi and Ruri made their way don the road "Do we have to walk together?" Ruri asked looking at her brother "What we're going the same way" Mokichi said "Yeah but do we still have to walked together?" Ruri asked "Whats the matter you use to like walking to school with me" Mokichi grinned "You'd beg me to walk to school with you" he teased "Nii-san let me walk with you!" he said mimicking her as a kid "That's when I was a kid!" Ruri shouted red with embarassed "Aren't you still a kid?" Mokichi teased "No! I'm a women now!" Ruri shouted "If thirteen is when a girl becomes a women" Mokcihi laughed "Nii-san!" Ruri shouted angrily and she punched him in the shoulder repeatedly "Okay okay, sorry! Your a women!" he said Ruri stopped pummling her brothers shoulder and huffed and looked away.

After a while they came to a forked road with a sign with pointing arrows with words eched into the the right one said Yumashi which was the towns middle school and the one on the left said Kuzuryu the towns highschool the two sibling stopped "Look like I'm the left" Mokichi said reading over the sign "And I'm the right" Ruri said also looking at the sign "Well, seeya nii-san!" Ruri said happy that she no longer had to walk with her brother and she rushed off down the road on the right "Seeya" Mokichi called as he watched his sister run off down the road out of sight "Well, best be on my way then" he said and he moved to the left and stared walking up the road soon Mokichi could see others walking wearing the same uniform he was he passed them as he made his way further up the road soon after several more hours of walking he finally came to the highschool he stopped at the front gate taking in the sight of other students walking in and out and the sheer size of the highschool "Wow, this puts my middle school to shame" he said that one sentence made a flash of what happned at that middle school go off in his head "No, this is a new start.." he said to himself "I won't let that happen again" he said and he took a breath and walked in.
