Chapter 24: One hitting a Tank, again
Not far away from Cyan, Arlom could only let out a sigh of disappointment, Cyan has wasted such a perfect chance to kill the boar with only one hit, if only he would had actually aimed to the right place and not such stupid place like the stomach, you cannot kill a boar that can recover from his wounds faster than you can breathe by attacking his stomach, Arlom could only shook his head, ‘that stupid kid did again’ Arlom thought.
Now Cyan needs to deal with a very angered boar without a weapon capable of doing any actual damage to the boar, all the weapon he has given to Cyan before were actually just toys in front of this boar now, that spear was the only thing in Cyan possessions that could actually kill it, well apart from the other ‘last last’ resource that he has given to Cyan, but that was the ‘last last’ resource that Cyan could only use when Arlom was either dead or not around.
Arlom felt even more dread as he remember he was thinking to praise Cyan actions when he get back, now he thought he should praise him, if he was able to come back in one piece now, Arlom let out a sigh as he watched the boar starting to charge at full speed in Cyan direction.
In the other hand, the boar has not found out about Arlom presence as his only focus was the one that had actually hurt him Cyan, after activing all of his skills it has lost all his rationality, not that he needed any, because after activating all of his skill, nothing can touch it, as it started trashing everything in his path while charging at Cyan at full speed.
Cyan did not have any other weapon on him that could hurt boar anymore or he would had taken it out by now, all the boar fury will fall upon this daredevil ant that was in front of him.
Cyan turned his head around to look for Arlom advice, he was now defenseless and without a weapon or a plan in front of a huge monster, because he wanted to impress his Master he had rushed out without thinking what to do in case his ‘sure to win plan’ failed.
Arlom could only shook his head to the actions this stupid kid was doing and with a wave of his hand he took another spear from his inventory and throw it into Cyan direction while giving some advices to him.
[Arlom]: “Never take your eyes from your enemy stupid kid, and try to not die or I will kill you next”
Cyan managed to catch the golden spear with his left hand while listening to his Master ‘advices’, turning his head around he could see the horned boar was speedily charging at him with a speed a tank should not possess, destroying all the trees he was using to shield himself from the boar charged, nevertheless those tree did not meant anything to the [Berserk] boar.
After dodging the charge of the horned boar one more time, Cyan took the words from his Master to the heart, as he started to think in another plan.
The boar that was already enraged to the point his eyes have become red dots, it has lost all of his rationality after activing his own skill, [Berserker] even if Cyan had a weapon of him now, he could not find the time to used, and just having a weapon it was not something that would stopped the boar charge on his own

The boar was charging at him again and again, not giving him any time to think or even time to even check the specs of the golden spear that Arlom had given him.
Nevertheless Cyan did not need to stop and check for the specs of this spear, this spear was a lot heavier than moon, but after holding the spear for a while dodging the boar, the spear felt somewhat familiar to him like when he was holding onto moon,
Cyan could already guessed what this spear name was, this was sun, the other half of moon, but to think Arlom had both halves of the spear, if the skill description of the spear moon was accurate, then Cyan could only grit his teeth, as he remember the warning label.
His worries only multiplied by two as he keep dodging the wild charges of the boar, and even if he was a lot faster than the boar, dodging the never ending charges were depleting Cyan stamina at a very fast pace, Cyan had still not learned how to move without wasting any movement and the more he moved the tired he felt, and the slower he would move, forcing him to make even more movements, creating a vicious cycle of stamina depletion, that surely he will end after he could not dodged the boar anymore.
What is worse, the pain on his right arm was just increasing, his fracture right arm was coming back to haunt him, he just realized how much he used his right arm to make a right turn as the situation was not improving at all, but soon enough, what Cyan was hopping for, a fast moving blue dot appeared in Cyan mind, Cyan could only put out big smile as he said.
[Cyan]: “here it comes”
The horned boar charged at him one more time, but this time, Cyan did not moved out of the way, he stayed in place waiting for the right time to act, Cyan could only feel dread as sense of danger shoot sky high as he saw the giant boar charging at him, but just as the boar was right in front of him, on the last second Cyan moved his head just a few centimeters to the left as he felt an air current passing next to his ear.
While holding sun, he could clearly see the position and the direction moon was coming from, but it was actually too fast for him to catch it, not that he could do it anyway, with one broken arm and with the other holding onto sun, the best outcome was to let the boar catch the spear for him.
The rotating spear moon, nailed the boar to the ground stopping his charged on the spot, in other circumstances, the boar should had being split into two halves and die on the spot because of the speedy charged, but because all the skills the boar has put on itself it was tough nut to crack.
Cyan could only let out a sigh of relief, as the boar was stopped just a meter away from the place he was standing, nevertheless this will not last for long, a new windows of opportunity has being created, this was not the last time he was weaponless but now, where he should strike?
The boar has only received a minor wound if none at all from that first strike that Cyan has made, that means if he wants to kill it, striking the heart was the obvious choice but what if he can’t find it this time around too.

Seeing his disciple still in troubles after he managed to stop the boar charged Arlom could only try to give some more advices to this stupid kid
[Arlom]: "Cyan it was a good plan to aim for his vitals like the heart but if you don't know where the heart is or can’t even do a followed attack, then it is a stupid plan that will only put you in risk, then, the next best place to aim sun is obviously for the head were the brain is, if you are worry that you lack the strength, then you only need to gain some ‘weight’ to make it for it, I am sure you are aware now that, that spear can split that skull in half without any problem if you put enough strength behind it"
Cyan that was worrying if he should try another thing, but could only nod to his Master words and thank him for his support.
[Cyan]: "I understand Master, and thank you"
‘that is right, there is nothing to be afraid of’ Cyan was not fool, of course he has thought the head was also a good target to aim, but it was smaller than the rest of the body, and studier beyond believe, he was not sure he could do real damage to that skull where the horns were, but this was Cyan first mistake, he underestimated his own strength and the spear his Master has gave him.
Nevertheless his Master has gave him a key word, ‘weight’, sun was a lot more heavier than moon, it was now that Cyan remember he could inspect the stats for the spear.
Soon – Twin Golden Spear (unique)
Lv.: -- (??)
Description: After running away from the first human kingdom with his family, the Master blacksmith took refuge in the land of the Orcs where he teach them how the human art of making weapon, in exchanged of protection for him, his family and the promised no evil soul would ever put their hands in sun or moon. The orcs honored their promised for centuries to come until the great war of the continent were the 9th Human king requested the spear to from the Orcs to free his race from oppression, the Orcs agreed with the conditions that the spear would be returned after war. The human won the great war, and took over the continent, nevertheless the spear was never returned to the Orcs that still are waiting for it.
Attack: 1/500
Durability: 256/500
Defense: 254/500
[Stats]
-5/50 Strength
-5/50 Agility
+5/50 Wisdom
+5/50 Intelligence
Skills:
[Skill Slot (empty)]: None.
[Skill Slot (empty)]: None.
[Heavy Throw (active)]: (In combination with the user). After being imbue with enough mana, the spear will start to gain weight of the user multiply by the amount of mana used, if throw at the right moment it would gain a huge penetration force.
[Twin Heavy Throw (active) (combination)]: Even if the sun and the moon can’t be together, After being split into two halves, they still refuse to be separate from each other for too long, like the sun chasing the moon, after throwing one or the other, if you are still holding onto sun or moon, the other halve will come back. (You better be on the lookout for that kid).
Cyan could only laugh to himself, the attack number was just 1? If Arlom had given him this spear first he could surely thing of it as garbage, even a wooden stick should had that attack power, but Cyan could not laugh to this spear, his sister spear moon was an amazing weapon, sun would not lag far behind, if seams this spear was made for defense, and it acted more like a hammer than a nail.
Nevertheless Cyan could feel the weight of the history that was engraved into the spear description, this history was not weightless, it has a meaning, it talked about the beginning of the spear and his final destination, Cyan finally started to understand what ‘weight’ actually was.
Looking over the boar that was still struggling to free himself from moon, Cyan make out his mind, the weight for taking the boar was not light, as he felt his body growing heavy, nevertheless if wanted to become stronger and eat, there were only a few ways to do it.
After dodging the charges of the wild boar he was very tired but now it was the time to ended, to gain ‘weight’ Cyan choose to go above it, this spear worked better the more it weigh it has, then using the weight of gravity give you was a no brainer.
Going up in a tree, Cyan disappeared from the ground, letting a still angered boar struggling to free himself. Cyan manage to get above the boar and pointed his spear downward, he focusses the rest of his mana in him to the spear that was increasingly gaining weight the more mana he put until he could barely hold onto the spear with his left arm and using the support of his mana armor that has almost faded away into blue mist.
Without waiting for a signal Cyan jumped down to ground where the boar was.
While Cyan was claiming the tree, the boar had managed to finally free himself from the spear shackles and was looking for his target, all of his skill were still active and the wound made by the silver spear was already gone.
So when the boar saw Cyan coming from high up the boar prepared to received him with his horn, it was even more enraged, to be challenging him in head on collision where his best weapon and defenses are, this ant was eager to be squashed.
Meanwhile Cyan gained a huge amount of speed while he falling to the ground and what it should be only an instant, lasted a lot longer for Cyan, while he was falling everything stopped moving, from the falling leafs, to the movements of the boar, in his fall, everything has become lifeless gray as he entered a world were only he could move, this was it, the slowed time world, he has focused his mid to the brink and finally managed to enter it again.
There in the middle of the boar head, where the horn was, a red dot was shining, in this grayed world that red dot was even more surreal, but Cyan knew this is where he needs to aim the spear head,
The skull was very sturdy and no weak impacts will have any effect on it, in normal circumstances you should be using a harmer to hit the boar and stunned it while you accumulate enough wounds on him so he could go down, but Cyan was one-person team, and his endurance and stamina was way weaker than the boar, in a battle of wear and tear, he will surely be the losing end.
Cyan only choice was to strike the vitals of the board with a fast and swift movement, that's exactly why Arlom has given him a spear and not a hammer or a sword.
Arlom has gave him the perfect weapon for the occasion.
Finally, the spear of Cyan collided with the horn of the boar, splitting it in half and the spear it went like it you would had expect, right through it, the sturdy skull even if put out a lot of resistance in the end it could not block the weight and the force that Cyan spear had, it shattered into pieces allowing the spear to past right through it, instantly ending the life of the horned boar.
The spear of Cyan went half way into the ground creating a small crater, and Cyan himself rolled into the ground with now his two arms broken, and another set of broken bones.
Looking over the unmoving boar and not reacting coming out from his skill [Hunter instincts] Cyan could finally let out a sigh of relief.
Taking the spears from the ground will surely take more time than the whole duration of this battle Cyan thought as he laid on the ground.
This battle has actually not last even for 10 minutes but Cyan was feeling it has being hours, it was an intense fight for him, Cyan was regretting that he had missed that first attack and now he will had to pull out those spears of the ground when he doesn’t have any more energy to even move around, maybe attacking from above was not the best choice now that he thought about the consequences.
But no matter, Cyan only needs to ask Arlom for his help, surely Arlom would be able to do it with just one pull, after all Arlom was very stronger, way stronger than Cyan could even imagined and he was right there.
With his shaking left hand, Cyan managed to drink one minor health potion that he carried with him in one of his quick slots, thank god the inventory bag can be activated by moving around a little bit of mana, even if his left arm was broken, it was not as bad as when his right arm broke, he was more aware this time of the recoil the skill had that last time, and by putting most of the rest of his mana armor to protect his left arm where the most damaged of the skill would be felt, Cyan managed to mitigate the damaged, but he still ended with a broken arm nonetheless.
But he could still use it to drink the potion, lessening the pain he was feeling, lucking enough he has not lose any limbs, and because potions that grew limbs were so expensive Arlom had not given him any of those, only minor health and mana potions, Cyan could let a sigh of relief as he felt the potion taken effect on his broken limps allowing him to stand again.
After standing up and turning around Cyan could not see where his Master was now, he was just standing right there just a second ago.
'Where he went?' Cyan thought
Arlom has disappeared and not even his shadow remained, Cyan thought he should look for him, while calling his name but he still remember that time when he did just that and has made Arlom to start to call him stupid kid even since, so he stopped himself to do something stupid again, he has already done so, when he didn’t aimed to the boar head since the beginning, missing the one hit kill.
But all of Cyan worries of where his Master was were for naught as he was hearing a bush sound behind him, Cyan turned around and called his dear Master.
[Cyan]: "Master! I did it, I finally did it!" With a conceited smile Cyan was looking to the bushes where the sound has come from.
But in the end what it has come out from the bushes was not his Master, but?three small creatures of 1 meter of height each and green skin, that have come to take a look because all the noises, but they had just stumble onto this place, just a sound ago there was nothing in front of them, just more trees, but after crossing some bushes now a human kid and a huge dead boar body was in front of them.
Cyan instantly recognized those creatures, they were goblins, pointy ears, small height and thin bodies with green skin and shard eyes.
Theses goblins looked between the huge dead boar body and the tired and bloody Cyan that didn’t had any weapon on him and it was alone and defenseless, they could put one and one together, they looked each other as they nodded, followed by the sound of someone taking out their swords and knifes as their eyes glinted with killing intent and a big smile, today was their lucky day.
