《Star Wars: Lost Hope》Chapter Ten, Part Two

Han didn’t like people assuming he couldn’t handle things, but he didn’t like putting others in danger more. Denon was a big planet with lots of eyes, lots of guns, and lots of people looking to make easy credits, and if any of those eyes fell on him then he’d be toast but at least everyone else on the Falcon would be okay. Now, he had to worry about protecting the old Jedi, but if Boba showed up then he might have to defer to the Jedi again.
Maneuvering through the rain and dozens of aliens and humans clambering around the walkways of the landing platforms, Solo and Kenobi didn’t have to worry about blending in. Everyone was hooded and the city lights of Denon’s nightlife only barely illuminated the platform. The low level Han had landed on was unofficially reserved for the kind of crowd that didn’t want to stand out anyways. It wasn’t long until they were inside and taking a lift up to level 5.
“Care to tell me more about your contact?” Ben quipped quietly over his shoulder, “anything I should expect from him?”
Han chanced a glance to Obi Wan; they weren’t the only ones in the small elevator. They were being squished all the way to the back by a group of noisy Ithorians, Quarrens, and Rodians, and none seemed to care about the two humans uncomfortably crammed in the corner.
“Her,” Solo whispered back, “she goes by ‘Engg’. Scary looking Nautolan: dark clothes, blue, weird eye tattoo on her forehead, dangerous.”
“How do you know her?”
Han let distant memories pass through his mind. No reason someone who’d be out of his life in less than an hour needed to know his life story.
“A job--it was a while back--anyways, we’re--”

“Friends?” Kenobi provided needlessly.
“Acquaintances,” Solo hissed back.
After a few stops, Han and Kenobi were the only ones left on the elevator, until they reached their level. Stepping out of the elevator, they continued down an empty hall. Dim overhead lights flickered and buzzed, casting sections of the metal hall into periodic darkness. Their steps resonated softly against the floors as they approached the wide entrance to Hangar 78.
Han paused in front of the large sliding doors. Something about the situation made his gut do a barrel roll. He’d been suspicious about this whole thing--despite setting it up--for a while, but it was a bad question. Kenobi and Luke weren’t going to find another ship unless they planned on stealing one, and that would risk setting off a system wide search. Then they’d have to worry about more than Jabba…
“You sure about this?” Solo lowered his hood and looked Kenobi in the eyes, trying to convey as many of the reservations he felt as possible.
It didn’t work.
“After you.”

The Order of Sekhmet
Meet Rowan who may or may not be really enthusiastic about telling you how his life is with the goddess of war. It is naturally far from being peaceful, but the blade-wielding, fourth-wall-breaking protagonist certainly wouldn't have it any other way. Egyptian deities? Check. Sword fights? Check. Demonic arts? Check. Burning passion? Check. After all, blood is a good moisturizer. Please note that I have flagged my content. There is and will be content that may trigger you, particularly if you've been through toxic relationships. While I do my best not to paint these moments in the best light, they exist and are crucial parts of my story. Things are kicked up a notch beginning with chapters named 'The Old World'. Everything before is (nearly) vanilla. Update schedule is every Thursday/Friday, varying times!

Warning: Very Dark Fantasy and Brutal. How do you rule over HavenFall where kings and queens are like coppers exchanging hands, where a subtle gesture can make or break a decade old treaty, and where betrayals and intrigue happen at every turn? 8 134F Rank Dungeon King
At one point during the history of humanity, things changed drastically. Magic was revealed to have always existed, lying under our eyes but remaining unseen. While that energy strenghtened humanity, it also brought it's load of calamities in the form of pocket dimensions whose gates opened all over the world. Those dimensions named dungeons were the very spark that created the golden age of humanity, an age in which anyone who could use magic could become anything. However some people decided that they wanted more power, more money, more everything. Those people were named the Hunters, greedy madmen entering dungeons in search of exciting adventures and tons of treasures. One particular Hunter living in Korea just so happened to find himself inside a dangerous dungeon for a high-paying job. Instead of fighting anyone inside , he merely assisted the actual hunters who did the work and ended up finding himself in quite the impossible situation. That was the birth of a hunter with his very own dungeon, one that he obtained through a cowardly mean. So now, what happens when a despicable human being is given way too much power and gets liberated from any shackles ? This book is part of the VoidVerse

A 13-year-old boy's father is arrested for child abuse shortly after his mother's death, and a new family takes him in. (Begins after rescue; no violence in story) Based on the Smallville universe, but reads well fandom-blind. Sweet, fluffy family story, with some dark moments.
8 272Imagine Being a Rare
The world of mobile games is harsh on wallets and harsher on the characters. How do you stand out in an crowd of designs calculated to attract attention from whales? You want power and fame, powercreep alts and event appearances. Some high rarities succeed, others fail. But how do you stand out when your design is plain, your power low, and your rarity, well, Rare? You don't. In the moderately popular gacha game Commandment of Hero, some Rares have had enough. A new gameplay mode will give them a chance to rise above their rarity, they think. All they need are courage, kindness, and wisdom. They have none of those, but they do have stubbornness, selfishness, and shamelessness, which are at least as effective. If that sounds pathetic, just imagine being a Rare. Updates Monday and Friday.
