《I Reincarnated Into a Fictional Character》Corola!!??

What's up! Yow! Zup!…… Oh! Whatever, I'm trying too hard to sound cool. But I'm failing miserably. Why is it so hard to be cool? I've never been a cool guy when I was in school, so I had only a few friends who were also not cool.
I envy others who are confident and relaxed. Talking to girls comes easy to them. They can have regular conversations, unlike me, who stammers too much and socially awkward.
So yeah! I am one of those who never had a girlfriend in high school or college...or my whole life. It is awkward for me to talk to people. I'm not also good at sports or music. My hobbies are playing video games, reading novels, watching anime, and watching movies.
You can summarize my life in one word: Boring.
Oh yeah, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Asher, 24 years old, still single; I have no job and still living with my parents. And yes, I'm a loser.
My life is so dull that I want to die; my only salvation is video games, books, and movies. In games, I play to be someone to forget how miserable my life. In the films, I can go to places I can only visit in my dreams. While reading helps me escape reality.
I enjoy reading fantasy novels because I can enter a world full of wonders. Where anything you can think of can be possible.
Anyway, enough with the depressing introduction and proceed to the juicy stuff. I'm sorry for boring you to death. Let's start the story.
As I was enjoying every day reading novels and playing games. While my mother nags me to find work or find a wife, a global pandemic happened.
A virus started spreading throughout the world. People call it corlolavirus or something. Wait… That sounds like the car.
Well, I don't care… The important thing is, I now have the excuse to stay home and do my thing. I know what your thinking… I'm a horrible person. The whole world is in a crisis, yet here I am celebrating.
I can feel you judging me right now. I don't blame you. I feel sorry for the infected people and to those who are suffering, but as if I can do something to help them…right? If I am a billionaire, I will gladly help; however, that is not the case.
I'm sorry… I got sidetracked. So, this quarantine period gave me an excuse to be lazy at home. As the days go by, even I began to get bored.
Suddenly I had an idea. Why not write a wuxia novel or something? I read enough! Maybe I could write one too. Thus, I began to write my web novel.

I never knew writing a novel is so hard. I struggle to start the story, and my grammar is so bad. But I continued because I had nothing to do.
The story is about a guy who died. He reincarnated into a wuxia world then lost his family from an evil sect. That motivated him to start the path of cultivation to become strong enough to avenge his family.
You know, the typical storyline. A cliché story where the guy becomes overpowered. All the girls he encounters will fall for him for no reason what so ever. At the same time, arrogant enemies will underestimate him. Yet ended up beating them with a single strike. Yeah...the good stuff.
My life is pitiful, so I guess the main character embodies my goals and aspirations. He is calm, handsome, rugged, and most of all, a ladies' man; all the things I'm not. I created a character that, for me, is perfect.
I wrote day and night with my clumsy grammar and poor command of the English language. I posted it on several websites. I'm not surprised only a few people read the novel because even I would not be interested…Because of obvious reasons.
The important thing is I'm writing for fun and relieving my boredom. I don't write to entertain someone.
I have always been sickly, so when I had a cold, it did not bother me. I was so focused on writing the novel. I was halfway through my writing when I felt difficulty of breathing. It has happened before and will happen again, so I ignored it. I regulated my breathing and closed my eyes. It never occurred to me that I would never breathe again. The end…
Just kidding! My story is just beginning… That was only the last breath I took from Earth. After that, I plunged into a dream. A dream where I am unaware of anything, a deep sleep you would never know when you wake up.
The time is funny in my dream; it may be only one day or a billion years, I can't tell. Then out of the blue, a light shined that woke me from my endless dream.
As I opened my eyes, a glare of light made me squint. I smelled something unpleasant, like a wet street dog. The smell is overpowering, and I want to vomit.
My eyes started adjusting to the bright sunlight. I feel drowsy as I examine my surroundings. It seems like I'm on a street where a few people are passing by.
They are avoiding me and covering their nose. All people around me are wearing clothes only seen in historical TV shows or movies. You know, tunics and robes with different dull colors. My first thought was WTF…. Where am I?

Now I also began studying myself, and I realize I was so hungry and weak. I wore tattered clothes, and my hair is in disarray. The smell is coming from my body and clothes. It feels like I never took a bath for ten years.
It seems my clothes are wet because of the rain the other night. Everything is overwhelming, and I thought I was still dreaming, so I slapped my self.
Unfortunately, the pain did not wake me up from this nightmare. I blank out for a moment; my mind can not keep up with all this information. It seems like I woke up in a different body, and oh my fucking god, I'm a beggar!!!
What happened to me? Where am I? These questions keep on running on my mind. Then I heard a screaming sound on my left. A man is shouting something at me. He is a skinny man with a long beard.
At first, I don't understand anything he is saying. He is speaking in a different language. But, after a few moments, I began understanding what he was saying.
"Damn beggar, get away from here. You are upsetting my customers. Getaway! You stinking dog!"
This shocked me so much that I staggered backward. How can I understand what this guy is saying? He is like speaking in mandarin or something. Yet I understood every word he said.
"Hey, are you listening to me? You bastard!"
The man got pissed off and started to approach me. He was about to kick me on my knees when someone shouted. "Halt!" The man got annoyed, but when he saw the source of the voice, he bowed.
"It is young miss Chen. What brings you here to my humble restaurant?"
The young lady that saved my sorry ass ignored him and approached me. She is wearing purple robes with golden linings. Her long dark hair is styled simply with a white Lotos flower hairpin.
She threw some coins in my direction and said, "Here! Buy something to eat…". Midway through her sentence, she stopped. She continued on her way while two bodyguards followed her.
I don't know what to do, so I just picked the coins. As I about to say my thanks, the young girl was already gone. My instincts say I have to go away from here, so I run towards a corner of the street.
First things first, I need to eat and clean myself up before worrying about other things. Fortunately, I woke up inside a town, so it was easy to find a shop that sells clothes.
Once again, I'm surprised because I could communicate with the shop owner in whatever dialect we are using. He was irritable at first because of my appearance and smell. But when he found out I had some coins with me, he changed his tune.
I bought a simple white undergarment and brown robe made of rough and tough material. I don't know if I paid it at the right price since I have no idea of their currency. I have only two coins left.
Worried I don't have enough food, I asked the shop owner where I could bath free. He directed me outside the town where a river is flowing. It took me one hour to navigate through the city.
The buildings are made of wood and styled like a traditional Chinese infrastructure. I saw a tall building with red-colored columns. If I'm right, these are called pagodas.
People would avoid me and grunt in disgust as they pass. At last, I found the exit of the town. It took me a long time to find the river. Since I got no soap, it was difficult to remove the dirt on my body, and even the smell won't go away. This was the longest time I ever bathe.
I want to continue, but my stomach growls so loud because of hunger.
I put on the new clothes and hurried back inside the town to look for food. I found a food stall and bought a bowl of noodles with the remaining coins I have. It took me a few seconds to devour the food.
It is not enough to fill my stomach, but it alleviated my hunger. "Where is this place?" I asked the vendor. He frowned, but he still answered,
"This is Town A."
I almost laugh out loud but resisted the urge. What kind of name is that?! It was like a stupid, lazy dude named this town on a whim.
Then it hit me. This town seems familiar.
"Who is the family that rules this town?" I nervously asked the vendor, hoping I am wrong.
"The Bo family."
I would have noticed his fearful expression if my mind did not have a malfunction.
Bo family…Town A… Bo's family… Town A… I keep on repeating. These names are the ones I randomly thought of when I wrote my novel.
I was lazy to think of a better name. That's why I just named the town; Town A.
Bo is the family name of the protagonist of my story…What is the fucking world is happening?!

8 186To live is to Dream (LitRPG; First Draft)
A new Power has come into the World and seeks to change it. Being on the last dregs of sanity and full of alcohol Daniel West receives an opportunity to seek revenge. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To live is to Dream is the second book of the Just a Dream series. You do not have to read the first to enjoy the second, but there will be recurring characters along the line. The first book features Mir, a man that dislikes how his current world appears and hence wants to change it. The second book will feature other people and how the changes implemented by Mir affect their lives. For those interested in my first book, it's easy to find it. Just beware that with the first book, it was my first time writing and there are a lot of grammar errors despite lots of editing, at least at the beginning of the book. The cover was done by Lmarief. I had requested something bizarre and she delivered. I have even used it as part of the story since her interpretation of my imagination was a bit different. Still, I loved it. As a thank you gift, I posted a link to her profile here for others who want a unique cover. https://www.royalroad.com/profile/220043

My very own first book: I know it won't be perfect, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated. A peculiar reject from modern society ends up as one of the summoned people in another world, but will the premise hold up to the reality of things? only one way to find out! Follow an irascible Darwin's adventures while he pioneers his class in a whole new world, where colors and willpower are two of the most important things, besides respecting the Gods (and avoiding stronger pricks that are just waiting for an excuse to trample someone). -first-person, portal fantasy, litrpg -the cover is my crude attempt with Paint
