《Kingdom of Earthos》Chapter 5: Trying to leave Earthos.

Three years later, after the death of Eagle and Tomi...........
Nathan called his royal blue eagle by name before climbing up her. "Take care of things while I am gone!". He called out to his mother Mona as well as Bondi who had become the leader of the females and is under the discipleship of the former.
"No worries! Nathan!" Bondi called out.
Feeling free in the sky, Nathan feeling the inherited powers he had obtain from both Norman and Eagle attempted to leave Earthos to recruit more followers on the zombie infested earth.
However, he was met with a rude surprise. He felt a strong shield block him from leaving. Using his blue diamond sword, Nathan tried to cut at the shield but it was no use. He briefly saw the four wizards starring at him briefly laughing. "What is going on ?" The brown haired and brown eyed version of Norman wandered to himself.
Flying back to the School of Paradeisos, Nathan got off his eagle and secretly snuck to the Headmaster's office who greeted him warmly. "Welcome, Nathan. Please have a sit".
The eldest son of Norman took his seat and asked. "I have obtain the powers of both my father and that of Eagle's, why can't I go to earth to reruit followers?"
"Did you bother to seek my will first? This is something that both Norman and Eagle have done. That is why I enabled them to go to earth and even teleported them myself. Your heart is in the right place but you acted rashly".
"I am sorry, Headmaster". Nathan spoke apolegetically.
"It is alright, Nathan. Just remember one thing. Consult me before doing anything major like this. There are a lot in this school who are looking up to you". The Headmaster spoke gently.

Noticing the brown haired version of Norman remaining silent, the Headmaster continued. "Remember, even the male blue ice bears which are capable of breaking through the defenses made by the four wizards and destroying this solar system will not do anything unless I give them the approval to do so".
"I guess I have learn something today".
"You have indeed. Today's lesson is all about humility and submission. The more obedient you are to me, the greater the authority you will have over these who follow you".
"How did my dad and Eagle get to earth ?"
"They did it when I teleported them over there. It is dangerous to go to earth by yourself. Not only is Black Thanatos out there waiting to kill any eagle rider who goes there but so is Ann". The words reminded Nathan about Ann's powers which were given to her by the four wizards which were under the rulership of Black Thanatos.
Hearing these words reminded Nathan about the death both of his father and mentor. "May I be excused ?"
"You surely may. Remember, Nathan, I am always one call away. Come to my office anytime even if you just want to have a conversation." The Headmaster smiled as Nathan got up from the chair he was sitting on and left the office.
Nathan left the Headmaster's office and went back to his room to weep and grief. Looking at the photos of himself training with his late father and mentor, he wondered if he will be able to disciple the eagle riders under him.

Back at the University of Thanatos, in the underground chamber, Ann was looking after her three year old son. "You are destinied to become the Pale Green Knight, my son".
"Where is my father ? Why have I not seen him ?" The three year old boy who could talk surprisingly well for his age asked.

"You will meet him in the future. Right now all you need to know is that you are born for a special purpose". Ann smirked while looking at her confuse son. She had plans for him alright, plans to groom him to become the Pale Green Knight as instructed by Black Thanatos himself.
~
Nathan entered his classroom. "Yesterday, I have learned an important lesson which is humility. I attempted to leave Earthos and head to earth without seeking the approval of the Headmaster. I paid dearly for it. It manifested itself in the form of the four wizards starring me down with a smirk."
When class was over, he went to meet his mother.
"How was class today ?" His mother whom had finished cleaning the house asked with a knowing smile. She was sitting down on the lounge in the living room.
"It was good. I guess you have heard of my failure". Nathan responded. He took a seat on the sofa nearby.
"You are not a failure. It is just something every young man has to go through sometimes. These are hard knocks".
"Why didn't you tell me about the power these wizards had sooner ?"
"Would you have listen to me at that time ? Besides, you are a grown man now. Sometimes there are things you will have to go to the Headmaster yourself to ask should you lack wisdom in anything or if you want to learn the hard way, find out for yourself".
Nathan was glad that his mother respected him as a young man. This was a quality Mona had. Nathan had notice that a lot of mothers are unwilling to let go of their sons and daughters. Apart from Mona, Tomi and Mads were the few women who allowed their respective children to grow up to become who they are meant to be despite being loving mothers.
"Thank you, mom". Nathan spoke as he got up from the sofa preparing to go to his room.
"For what?" Mona asked with an indifferent look on her facial expression.
"For letting me grow up to become my own person". The brown haired man turn round with a smile.
"You are welcome. Even your brother had to make his own choice which was the wrong one. He is now gone from the world of the living and is the father of the boy who is being groomed to become the Pale Green Knight".

Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.

A/N: Mature tag added for possiblity of violence, sex scenes (not entirely sure if I can write one though), etc.; harem tag removed but not exactly sure yet Hi guys, I thought I'd try to write a book (obviously easier said than done). Don't actually know where I'm headed with this but thought it would be fun to try to get as far as I can. There is no set schedule whatsoever. Constructive criticism greatly appreciated.
