“Norman is dead”, Eagle said as he came out of the Headmaster’s room. “He has gone to a better place”.

“Who killed him?” Mona asked, tears coming out of her eyes.

“A dark entity who is female. The Headmaster told me it is someone I know back from school but he didn’t tell me who. All he wants is for me to focus on training”. Eagle embraced Mona with a hug and became a shoulder for his mentor's wife to cry on.

Tomi who had gone to visit Mads in the north returned with a six year old girl with brown hair and brown eyes who looked like a kid v. “Lawrence and Mads had been killed by a dark entity which happened to be female. They too have gone to a better place. Mads handed her daughter to me before she was killed and her body was disintergrated”.

“How did you get away?”

Mona asked in tears. “The Headmaster transported me away on time. The School of Paradeisos’ northern branch has been destroyed, however, it seems that we are going to have powerful enemies to content with in the future”.

Eagle led the rest of the Eagle riders to moan for Norman, Lawrence, Mads, and all the other Eagle riders which had been killed. “They are now in a better place”. Turning to his eight year old daugter, Bondi, he said, “Looks like you have a new friend and an adopted sister. Are you alright with that?”

Bondi nodded. “What is your name?” She asked approaching the daughter of Lawrence and Mads.

“My name is Marissa. I am please to meet you”. The daughter of Lawrence and Mads replied.

“It looks like we are all that is left and most of the Eagle riders around the Kingdom of Earthos has been killed”, Eagle said, “I am going to visit the Headmaster’s office. Bondi stay with your mother and Marrisa”.

“I am coming with you”, Tomi handed Bondi and Marrisa to Mona before following him upstairs to the Headmaster’s office.

The Headmaster who was expecting them said, “Welcome back to my office, Eagle and Tomi, how does it feel to be leaders and teachers in the School of Paradeisos?”

“Honestly, everything is going haywire and we do not know what to do”. Eagle tried to hide his tears and grief failing to do so. “We have lost Norman today”.

“We have also lost our best friend from high school, both Mads and her husband were killed and all that is left of them is their daughter, Marrisa”. Tomi added. “We do not know what to day anymore. Why didn’t you help us?”

“Their work given by the King of Paradeisos is now finish. They have fought the good fight and are now in a better place. Both Lawrence and Mads know that their daughter will be looked after and are not worried. Rather, they are enjoying the Kingdom of Paradeisos and its surroundings”. The Headmaster smiled.

“This does not make sense !”, Tomi screamed out. “Nothing makes SENSE!”

“Everything will make sense one day. Eagle and Tomi, you are both leaders of the School of Paradeisos now. Lead and protect the rest of the Eagle riders and remember I live in the hearts of all Eagle riders and am not confined to this office”. The Headmaster spoke calmly to the couple.

Eagle and Tomi returned to the rest of the Eagle riders and relayed everything the Headmaster told them. Some of them were confused but being the faithful remnant, they stayed and remained knowing (or at least hoping) that something better will soon come up.Everybody returned to their own houses after moaning for another few hours in silence.

“I really wish Mads was here to see her daughter play with Bondi”, Tomi spoke to Eagle, her head on his lap while watching Bondi play with Marrisa.

“I do too. We have gone through a lot with her and it only seems like yesterday. All that is left of her is her daughter”. Eagle agreed.

“You can say that again”, Tomi laughed. “Things will surely get better soon“.

“I am sure it will but in the meantime, we need to train hard and teach the rest of the Eagle riders to fight as a team in unity. So far, everybody has been fighting as an individual and that resulted in the death of Norman. It shows that even the strongest of us needs back up. Lawrence and Mads were the only ones to work in perfect unity”. Eagle commented. “Yet most of the Eagle riders were not accustomed to do so”.

“Then let us teach them to do so, beginning with the next training. Nathan will be willing to learn to do so for sure and our daughters will also need to learn that too”.

“Our daughters?”

“Marrisa is now part of the family remember? She might be the daughter of Lawrence and Mads but now that she is under our protection, she is our daughter every bit of her just as much as Bondi is. In other words friendship with someone never ends just because they have left to go to another place”.

“I am sure they will see many animals from planet Diamond and other animals from different planets with the gift of speech and reason. There will surely be colours there that are not named on Earthos”.

A knock came on the door.

“Who is that?” Tomi asked.

“It is Nathan, I am here to look for Eagle. I am just wandering if you both could give me some extra training. We really need to learn to work in unity. Besides, I really want to be like my dad and recruit more eagle riders from earth when I am older. I do not want to waste his work”.

“What shall we do? Shall we give him some personal training?” Tomi asked with a smile getting her head off Eagle’s lap.

“I remember my promise to Norman that I will help his wife look after his son. Let’s answer the door. We will take our doors to Mona’s place in the School first of all. Training will begin for Nathan at the backyard. It works just fine”. Eagle responded heading towards the door to open it. End of Book 2.
