As I had decided I am on my way to the magical forest edelgard. I have fought many beasts and monsters on my way to practice and improve my skills and magic. To be honest all of the ones I have fought were very weak so I am looking around to see if I can find a stronger one

I remembered dense and massive forests like edelgard are known to be griffins territory, they are much stronger than other beasts and a group of them is extremely hard to defeat. I got off my carriage and started looking around. I went deeper and deeper inside to see if he could find something just then I heard loud noises he went around looking to see where it came from, behind the trees I saw three griffins attacking a small injured deer toying around with it.

I took on the group of griffins and I attacked them with my sword. One of them tried to bite me and nearly succeeded but I moved out of the way and I slashed it with my sword. I killed two of them and the other attacked me and tried to eat me but I managed to overpower it and I defeated all of them. As I sat down to rest I heard a majestic voice from behind me. I turned around I saw a beautiful girl with long golden hair and charming blue eyes.

The deer I saved was gone and the girl said “hello, my name is Irin thank you for saving me from those beasts I am truly grateful to you” I was shocked and I asked “are you the little deer from just now?” she replied “yes, I am a spirit and I was roaming around the forest in the form of a deer but umm.. I tripped in a tree branch and fell into the beasts’ lair and they chased me and injured me I was out of energy so I couldn’t transform back.” I was even more shocked as in this world spirits were an extremely rare race and they never showed in front of humans.

She said “as a reward for saving my life please allow me to take you to our realm as a special guest” the spirit realm was one of the magically sealed realms and no human ever going there has ever been recorded. It was said to be a land on par with the realm of the gods with beautiful places like nowhere else. I asked her if it was really ok for me to come. She replied “yes, of course you have saved me after all”

She told me to follow her, we went through the dense forest to a place that looked ruined and deserted with a castle run down to bits. Irin recited a spell and all of a sudden the surroundings began to change and we were in a bizarre and beautiful place. She said “welcome to the spirit realm named Cleqoria” and I found out this was the place the god had instructed me to go to.

Irin took me to the royal palace of the spirit royal family to meet her family. It was lucky enough to meet a spirit but for her to be a princess of the royal family is simply unbelieveable. As we walked I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing the city where spirits lived, this was like the closest thing to heaven one could experience without being a god.

The palace was even more magnificent than everything else. The first person to meet us was her older sister named kristiel. She asked Irin where she had been all the while. Apparently time slows down in the spirit realm as the effect of a powerful magic so even though she had been gone for only a day it had been a week here.

Irin replied that she went to the human realm but she couldn’t return as she had ran out of energy and while replenishing it she was attacked by griffins. Kristiel looked shocked and asked “how did you get free and who is this man” while looking at me. Irin replied “this is the man who saved me and I brought him here to thank him, he is only human by appearance but he can defeat a herd of griffins with ease.” I reply “nice to meet you my name is Argos and on my journey I ran across Irin in the forest of Edelgard. Kristiel replied “thank you so much for saving my little sister. If you hadn’t been there I don’t know what would happen to her.”

She said that she would accompany us to the palace and meet with the king. I was trying to find a way to tell them about my meeting with the gods. For now I went with them to the palace. The gate was enormous with guards with magical weapons. After we went in we ran into the princes, Irin’s brothers. Their names were Telentus and Gadreel. They heard about what happened and got curious about my strength. Telentus said “oh if you are that strong you should have no problem defeating us Argos” Gadreel also agreed and said “let’s have a battle at the palace shall we” I agreed to the battle as I was also interested in how spirits fight.”

We headed to the castle and found the king and queen weren’t there as they had something to attend to but they would be back shortly so we decided to start the duel in the castle’s training ground. The spirits would be hard to effect with weapons as they could use magic to protect themselves so I also used magic although I didn’t know many spells. The battle was intense and it shook the castle. When the king and queen returned they heard about the intense clash and went to take a look. They were shocked when they saw a human not only battling with two spirits but overpowering them, I defeated the two brothers by binding them with a spell and attacking them with elemental magic.

Everyone was shocked as a mere human defeated two spirits on his own. Just as the battle was over there was a strong aura coming from somewhere and its source was a very surprising person . The king saw the person with the immense aura and said in shock “the ancient spirit Ryuu Euthmios!” it was said he is over 3000 years old and the oldest spirit to have ever lived. He served in the “disastrous battle of iniquity” the great war between the gods and demons causing chaos around the world leading to the creation of the black region. But all records are lost to time.

The great spirit Ryuu Euthmios was said to never have been seen once after the great war but it was confirmed he was alive after observing his magical essence. The appearance of Ryuu was shocking to all the people. Ryuu says “I had been destined to meet with the great hero who would be the savior of the world, the prophecy said the hero would be born and blessed by the gods when the world threatening demon lord would be reincarnated, after this young man came to this realm I have been woken from my 3000 year slumber and am here to assist him to become the strongest. The demon lord has awakened and the world will fall into ruins unless the young man becomes the hero.

Upon hearing the news of the demon lords awakening everyone fell into panic, Ryuu asked me “what is your name young man and have you ever come across a god who blessed you.” “ I am Argos Chileever and I come from a small human family, on my journey to the black region I ran across the gods who blessed me and instructed me to go to the mystic forest of edelgard where I ran into Irin and was lead here where the gods had told me to go, I was trying to find a opportunity to tell the spirits but I was worried they wouldn’t believe me.” I said

The king replied “yes, we definitely wouldn’t have believed you if you told us that but as the ancient spirit himself said so it has to be true, Argos Chileever is the savior of the world.” And this is how I became the savior of the world without me even trying to. Then Ryuu asked me why I was going to the black region. I said “I was on my way to retrieve my brother who was thrown there by the imperial alliance just because he angered the guards.” Ryuu says “that is a tragic story would you mind telling me the name of your brother” I reply and say “his name is Irakes Chileever” Ryuu suddenly freezes and starts to appear tensed then he suddenly sees the elder god and as if time froze in its tracks the god told him not to tell me about Irakes. Then everything went back to normal and Ryuu laughed it off like it was nothing. I started to have a really bad feeling about this.
