Evan left the Union quickly and went to the alley in Voru city. He changed to his normal appearance and wore different clothes. On his waist, there was his sword and he wore a red cloak.

"Voru city, very crowded. Let's gather-"

"Ah!" A gentle voice which harmonious in Evan's ears. He bumped into a girl. She wore a uniform; her hair and eyes are colored black. When their eyes met, Evan felt his entire being shaken.

'How could it possible?'

The face of the girl. She is very much alike with the girl he met in his dream long ago. The girl he loved who died, now someone just alike stood in front of him.

"I'm sorry, I’m not very cautious and careless." The girl bowed for an apology, Evan instantly recovered although his face is bit pale.

"No, it was my fault for not being careful. I apologize as well." Evan glanced at her and couldn't help but disturbed. He wondering if fate really twisted and playing him like a toy.

"Um, are you okay sir?" The girl asked with worry.

"I'm fine and please do not call me 'sir' I’m young."

The girl nodded, "Then please excuse me." She walks pass Evan but subconsciously, Evan grabs her hand.

"Ah, um..."

"Yes?" The girl was alarmed but she kept remain calm and waiting for Evan. On the other hand, Evan felt nervous and after taking breathe deeply, he speaks.

"I'm Evan, may I know your name?"

"Laiya." She answered shortly. Evan shuddered and sighed. Fate is really playing on him. He let her hand go and gave her a smile. That name is Paldus’s little sister’s name. he didn’t fully surfing Paldus’ s memory and missed the part of her appearance.

"Laiya, if fate allows us. I think we shall meet again." He said before turning his back and leaving.

Laiya was stunned, she didn't expect someone would flirt her like that. But her heart ached and had trouble to keep her calm expression.

Evan walking in a fast pace, he is walking aimlessly and don't know where to go. Voru city is big and he is lost right now. He is hoping to find an inn and asking for a guide across the city.

The city is very lively; everyone is celebrating the festival and the sky colored with beautiful fireworks. In this crowded place, Evan found it hard to struggle to proceed forward.

"Look Noel! I caught a big fish!"

"That's great Falecia!"

Evan heard familiar voices. When he looking at a certain stand, he saw Noel and Falecia together. They both have happy expression.

'Seems like you're in good health.' Evan thought after finally met Noel. But he felt someone staring at them and once he tracking it down, he found a girl and a woman looking at them.

'Who? Stalkers? Wait, Noel couldn't be so popular, right?'

He is wondering what's the relationship these stalkers had with Noel. Amongst the stalkers, the girl showing a bit of jealousy while the woman showing an excitement. He didn't expect to have this kind of awkward situation.

"Noel, they are following us." Falecia spoke with calmness, on her right hand there is a plastic ball with water and a fish inside it.

"Haha... don't mind them." Evan laughed bitterly. He clearly knows that Clara and Teronna have been following them. He wished he had an enjoyable date with Falecia, but never expect to be so this kind weird, especially being followed.

Evans sighed in happiness and continue to walking. After walking far enough, he found an inn and enter it. The inn is very crowded since it is also a bar. People happily drinking and talking with a loud voice. Evan walks to the counter.

"A room for a week, how much?"

"Sorry sir, no empty room."

"Ah... do you know any other inns?"

"Sure, but I don't guarantee they have vacant rooms."

"Thanks."

After got an amateurishly drawn map with pinpointed inns. Evan left and begin to visit each inn. There are eleven inns with circle marks can be accommodated by commoner but star mark means can be accommodated by noble or rich people. These star inns surely have vacant rooms but the price is expensive.

Evan willing to visit each circle inns to find a cheap room. But after visited all of them, he got no luck. He was forced to go to the star inns.

When he arrived at the first-star inn. The inn has elegant appearance exterior. By outside, the inn seems has ten floors and stretched quite far. When he about to enter, he saw a big man and a boy with baby face walking together and arguing.

"Rido! The cheap is uncomfortable and not really good for your healthy! Beside it is not luxurious and there are many those dirty guys!" The baby face boy said.

The big man sighed and says, "Eh, what do you know? Although luxury is good but I rather choose common things and conversation with the so-called dirty guys! Besides, this inn is very expensive."

He then saw Evan approaching, "Hey, don't enter this place. Everything is expensive as hell." He laughed happily.

Evan was amused by this man action to talk suddenly with a stranger. Evan smiled and replied, "Thank you for your warning but I already went to any other inns and all of them are full."

Instantly Rido face went grim, "Damn, I suppose I need sleep on the street."

"Rido! Don't think such a thing! Where is your pride as a Pillar!"

'Pillar?' Evan's mind suddenly connected to his meeting with Oreily. She is a Wind pillar of Carbiz kingdom and only Carbiz has so-called five pillars.

"Pillar or whatever! I'll sleep on the street!"

"Rido!"

They are still arguing while walking away. Evan just staring at them and then entering the inn. The interior is as he expected, elegant and luxurious. When entering the inn, there is no bar right away but rather receptionist desk with two people waiting behind it. Behind them, there are two stairs leading to the above floors. While going to the left side is where a bar located.

"Welcome sir, do you wish to stay here?" The receptionist asked.

"Yes, is there any vacant room?"

"There is sir, our inn divided into three rooms. One set, two set and luxury set."

Just by hearing it Evan understood that the luxury set must be the most expensive. He wouldn't waste so much money for a luxury.

"I'll choose one set, how much it is for a week?"

"It will be 49 silvers." The price is expensive as expected, not even a normal inn would give such price. Evan took out the silvers and give it to the receptionist.

"Thank you, here is the key. Sir's room is located on the third-floor number 65. Also, sir, if you wish to participate in a party tonight, you could go to the bar.

"Yes, thank you." He took the key and heading straight to his room. The one set room is quite big than normal inn's room. The bed also soft and there is a fragrance smell. On top of that, there is also a bath. Evan quickly took a bath to clean himself and changed into formal clothes. His appearance drastically changed from a wild man into a suave man. He wore this clothes because he wanted to go to the bar to gather information. Thus, wearing appropriate clothes will allow him to blend in.

When he arrived at the bar. It is a wide bar where people with high status talk to each other. There is a top quality singer to increase the mood and it is very enjoyable. Evan quickly walks to the counter and order a drink.

"What would you like sir?" The bartender asked.

"Something that will remind me of the past."

The bartender smiled and do his own job, later, he put a glass in front of Evan filled with the drink he asked.

"Right, do you have the latest information? Aside from the festival." Evan asked while grabbing the glass.

"There is a tournament soon sir, it won't be a normal tournament. Many people who think of themselves as strong will participate, it will be held at Voru stadium. Other than that, the kings gathering also the hot news."

"The kings... ah, perhaps you know the five pillars of Carbiz kingdom. Do they stay in this place?"

"Not all of them sir. Only Ms. Karia the white pillar. The rest are busying them selves. Are you perhaps met Sir Rido and Sir Bons?"

Evan remembered about the big man and the baby face boy he met back then, he nodded. "I do, do you know what kind of person is Rido? He seems dislike luxury."

"Sir Rido came from humble birth, comes from a village and born with great talent. He later made name for himself as a Hero of Carbiz then become Destructor pillar. He is easy going person and someone needs to befriend with."

"Then Bons?"

"Sir Bons came from nobility, he is an admirer of Sir Rido and attained himself a title of the Holy pillar. He is very disciplined and upkeep due to his family as a knight."

"Any other thing you would like sir? I could provide it to you." The bartender smiled with some hidden meaning behind it. Evan replied back with a smile and took out two golds to put them on the table where the bartender takes them.

"Bring all information in this neutral zone. Critical one."

"Of course sir, please come tomorrow night."

Evan drink the drink and then put a silver while walking back to his room.

The next day, near noon, Evan already left the inn and heading to the stadium. He wanted to see the list of people who registered. He didn't wish to join it since it is troublesome.

Upon arriving at the stadium. He could see people lining up for registering. Evan passed and looking at the broad with names on it. There are far more than 10000 people registered already, perhaps the reward is good that it caught everyone's attention.

"Are you here to register too?" A familiar voice which is very harmonious in Evan's ears. When he turned to his left, he saw Laiya stood with a smile.

"Hello, seems like fate really allow us to meet." She said.

"Hello." Evan said shortly and glanced at two girls behind Laiya. They were looking at Evan with suspicious eyes.

"They are my friends. Aina and Sarah. Perhaps you know Ice princess? She is Aina Lavenz and Sarah.... I don't think she is popular."

"Hey, Laiya." The tomboyish girl spoke in anger, she is Sarah.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't know the Ice princess too." Evan answered which made Laiya and Aina widened her eyes while Sarah chuckling.

"Hahaha... Look, Aina, seems like you're not really that well known."

"Shut up!" Aina, the girl with long plain blue hair frowned and says, "He might be coming from the isolated village."

"Isolated? Look at him, he is wearing an expensive one. I bet he is a rich person and your popularity failed to reach him." Sarah laughed once again and made Aina grumbling in displeasing.

"I'm sorry about my friends, they are very noisy." Laiya humbly apologized to Evan but he did not mind it at all.

"Are you guys going to enter the tournament?"

"Yes, we intend to." Laiya answered then Aina speaks, "After all, many of our people entering it even the best first year till the third year."

"The best?"

"Yes, our academy has three best people for each year. We are first-year student and the best three of our year is Faiz, Noel, and Glein."

Two familiar names. He is satisfied with Noel being one of the best but he wanted to know how did Noel become one of the best. But it would be suspicious to ask right away.

"So, these three best. They are strong, can you define them for me."

"Of course!" Sarah proudly stepped forward, "Faiz, the strongest because, during the exam, he is crazily using thunder to fight. He is very terrifying and no one would dare to come at him. While Noel, he came out of nowhere like a black horse. Yet, after being challenged by seniors, he proved himself as the second best with his fire. On top of that, he able turn into a fire!" She looks excited as if she were telling a story of her favorite idol.

"Seed of fire?"

"You knew? Yes, Noel has the seed of fire. While Glein, he is also the black horse, not even his opponent able to touch him. His power to control gravity and placed gravity to any places, allows him to be able to stand as the third best."

But Evan still didn’t satisfy with the answer. Was only by the seed of fire Noel became really strong? Evan knew that seed of fire greatly improved one's fire magic to another level but it couldn't be only that, right? As he thought of it, Laiya speaks.

"Faiz is using golden lightning, the legend lightning while Noel using green fire."

Evan widened his eyes and shivered. The golden lightning already shocked him but the green fire is more shocking than it.

'So, Noel was the one who made contact with Osion. Perhaps Osion resides inside him and it would be hard...'

This is not a good situation for Evan. Noel acquired green fire means double edge sword. He got more power but in exchange, Osion will grow stronger. Although Osion fooled him before and might also have fooled Noel, Evan believed that Osion is waiting for the right chance to come out and taking over Noel's body.

After registered, Laiya and her friends said goodbye to Evan and left. While Evan himself, he is taking a stroll around the city till it went night.

When returned to the inn, he went to the bar and meet with the bartender.

"Here is the information." The bartender gave Evan pilled papers.

"Thank you." Evan quickly heading to his room and start reading the information. The information was filled with every situation happened in neutral zone. But not very specific one. Since neutral zone is very big, it is divided into many places and there are different situations happened.

Not many things that catch Evan's attention. But what makes him furrowed his eyebrows was undead was found passed by the witnesses. Though many people think it was an illusion but it happened in several different places and at a different time. The latest one happened three days ago.

'If this were true, then the Undead king really stretched out very far. Could he also be aiming for this all the time? Kings gathering and tournament. If he could end all the kings' lives, all kingdoms will fall in dire state and weakened. This is worst possible scenario but I don't know...'

Another information, Evan found that Oreily was entered this town a few days ago sneakily, but alas, someone managed to took a notice of her. Five pillars in this city, Evan wondered what Carbiz kingdom up to. To have all of them here, very suspicious.

After finished reading all information. Evan lied on his bed and relaxed. Looking at the vanilla colored ceiling, illuminated by fine white light, Rian sighed and closed his eyes.
