The next morning. Evan as usual starts his hardcore exercise and after that he sits down and relaxing.

"Hmm.... usually Ariana will come with a towel." Evan muttered. It became a habit to receive a towel from Ariana in the early morning. But he didn't see Ariana around, Evan just thinking that Ariana might be busy.

Evan went to take bath and changed his clothes. He became Noel's bodyguard once again and keep staying not far from him or more like he starts his job as a real bodyguard.

Noel and Falecia have a talk in early morning. This is made Noel skipped his daily exercise. After that, they have breakfast and then Noel finally able to be free and have a talk with Evan.

"Aghh... I skipped the exercise." Noel complained after he alone with Evan. Evan only chuckled and then looking around. Right now, they are in library. A good place to talk for both of them.

"So Evan, how are they?" Noel asked which makes Evan confuse.

"Her bodyguards." Noel added and Evan slowly nodded in understanding. Certainly, he already met then, they are mysterious and rarely appear but Evan could felt that they are watching when Noel and Falecia together.

"They are strong but i must always be cautious. They are mysterious after all."

"Agree, we lack information about them and they lack information about you too."

"Why we're like discussing about something else?" Evan laughed and then Noel too. They talked like they are in some kind of super important meeting.

"Oh right, Noel, do you know Ariana? The maid in here." Evan asked in curiosity. He didn't hope Noel to remembered all of the servants in here but he might hope him to know her.

"Maid? I'd never hear a maid with that name?"

"Are you sure?"

"Why don't you ask the butler? Erkil?"

"Ah, yes." So far, Evan never interacted with other servants except Ariana. They building a relationship because a coincidence too.

"But i don't know what he looks like." Evan said.

"He is wearing casual butler uniform. Old just like father and his hair is all white, his eyes are black and his body is quite sturdy and he is always full of dignified manner as a butler. You could find him quickly." Noel explained the detail about Erkil's appearance.

"I got it."

"Ah..." Noel put a face like he remembered something.

"What's wrong Noel?"

"I forgot. You mentioned that you will show me your magic, right? Even though i saw your magic back then, i couldn't grasp it well. But i expect it's going to be amazing, right?" Noel said with happy tone. Evan certainly remembered that he told Noel that he will show his magic, he did forget about that too before.

"So, when do you wish for it?"

"Let's go right now, at the backyard. I'll get Falecia to see how capable you are." Noel stood and quickly leave. Evan obediently nodded and also leave to the backyard.

After few minutes of waiting. Noel appear with Falecia and her bodyguards. Evan looking at her bodyguards with focus and memorizing their appearances.

"Evan." Noel coming to him and whispered.

"Falecia agreed but she want you to show your magic while fighting them." Noel with quite sweating face. Evan glanced at Falecia and saw her smiling.

"The fight will use physical and magic." Noel continued.

"I see, then, let us begin."

"You're not objecting?" Noel is bit surprised since Evan agreed so easily.

"Yeah, i want to finish this quickly." To be truth, Evan already had enough. He fought with Oreily and then had a long nightmare then will fight again with both of them. His days starting to get full of fight and nightmare.

Noel walks to Falecia and said that Evan agreed. Evan took out his sword from the ring and hold it with his both hand. Falecia's bodyguards also took out their weapons.

The first bodyguard has big body like a bear with claws as he weapons. His face is covered by half mask and only his eyes can be seen, yet Evan able to see his round face clearly.

The second bodyguard has slender body like malnourished person. He holds two stilettos with face covered by half mask too. Both of them wearing dark clothes fits their bodies.

"Shall we begin?" Falecia said.

"Yes, begin." Noel nodded.

With confirmation of the fight begin. The first bodyguard running towards Evan like a tiger. Evan didn't move an inch and keep waiting till he is in within range. However, suddenly, the second bodyguard jumping out above the first. When his eyes met Evan's eyes, Evan couldn't move his body.

'Paralyze?'

The first bodyguard within the range, however Evan couldn't attack due to being paralyzed. Evan staring at the first and casted magic without chant.

A spear made from ice coming out from the ground and almost hit the first's head if he didn't dodge right away. The second attacking from above and Evan casted again. Ice arrows created and launched to the second.

The second blocked the arrows with his stilettos, however the last arrow wasn't an arrow but rather a rising ice pillar which pushed the second away.

Evan moved, the paralyze finally over. He grabbed his sword tightly and dashed at the first.

"Enhance bear!"

The first shouted and his body suddenly getting larger and he swings his claw towards Evan. He blocks the claw but then let it slide away by moving to the side, Evan could felt the unbelievable power within the attack.

'The first bodyguard is enhanced and the second is paralyzing?'

"Enhance, panther!" The first bodyguard suddenly become faster and shifted his claw direction towards Evan.

"Ice decoy." Evan said and an ice which resembling him created and he flew not far from it. The ice decoy destroyed by one attack.

"Kikikiki!" The second bodyguard charging at Evan with low body near the ground. Evan didn't look at him at all and yet Evan low his sword and suddenly charging at the second at fast speed.

The second shocked and his magic which is able to paralyze someone's movement just by looking at their eyes got cancelled. Evan instead using his sword, he using his hand and grabbed the second's face then smash it to the ground.

"Quite brutal." Noel said in daze. He never saw Evan used such brutal attack.

Evan shifted his gaze to the first and charged at him. Even though Evan's speed isn't enhanced but it's only quite inferior against enhance one.

"Enhance gorilla!" The first swings his claws again and again towards Evan yet all of them got blocked. But, no one noticed that Evan made each clash between the claws and his sword using ice magic. Each time the claws clashed with the sword. The claws got cold and freezing till the temperature really low. Then Evan didn't hold back and clash the claws with more power.

"?!"

The claws got destroyed and in instant Evan swipe his sword near the first's neck and he could feel the chill cut his neck even though it wasn't real at all since the sword only passed the neck by an inch

"Phew." Evan exhaled and then looking at Falecia and Noel. But then he realized that Noel put a panic face and noticed that he forgot about the second.

When he turned, he saw the second behind him and launch his stiletto. Their eyes met, however, both of them stopped moving. The second's stiletto barely about to touch Evan's stomach but it didn't move afterwards. The second's eyes became bloodshot and trying to move his body but sadly he couldn't.

After few seconds passed, Evan manage to move while the second still stand still. Evan tapped the Second's shoulder and all the coldness inside him disappeared then he fell to the ground with weak body.

"Amazing." Falecia said with smile.

"Ice magic, you are quite powerful with it. To be able to use chant less and then froze him just by looking. I felt assured about Noel's safety to you." She said.

"Thank you Ms. Falecia." Evan bowed.

"Both of you, come." Falecia said it to her bodyguard. Her tone changed from gentle to stern one. The first bodyguard was the first to arrive and kneel before her while the second slowly moving due to the cold still remain.

"Learn from what happened today."

"Yes my lady." The two said it in unison. Falecia gently nodded and dismissed them then turned towards Noel.

"Let us talk tomorrow Noel, after breakfast, i do not wish to make you skip your exercise." She said before leaving.

"Ah yes...."

Watching Falecia leaving with her bodyguards, Evan coming closer to Noel and says.

"She is very understanding girl."

"Indeed."
