"Good job Evan! That girl looks bright after talking to you!" Noel patted his back.
"Yeah.... hey Noel."
"Yeah?"
"Do you know Oreily Novister?" Evan asked as he lifted his head. When he said that, Noel's face is stiffened and there is a bewilderment in his eyes.
"Evan come with me!" Noel pulled Evan right away out from the inn and then he looks around. Noel saw Oreily from far away and running towards her.
She went to the small alley and Noel and Evan follows her there till they are deep enough.
Noel and Evan saw Oreily stood alone while facing them with a smile.
"Evan, seems like fate allows us to meet once again." She said.
Noel frowned and says in an angry tone.
"Oreily Novister! What's your business to step your feet to this kingdom once again?!"
"Oh my, Evan, your friend is really angry at me." She said in teasing tone.
"Answer me Oreily! You traitor of Noguard and the Wind pillar of Carbiz kingdom!" Noel shouted.
"Traitor?" Oreily changed her tone to a serious one.
"Who are you to dare to label me as a traitor?"
"I'm Noel Rishawd! You are a traitor who killed the prince and stole the sigil!"
"Pft! On what basis? Look, our country doesn't even go to a war? So why? It's because there is no proof that I killed the prince and stole the sigil." Oreily laughed.
"Shut up, I'll catch you here." Noel took out his sword from the ring and about to dash her before a gush of wind blowing at them.
Oreily's eyes become serious and staring at Noel with killing intent. Evan took out his sword and step ahead towards Noel and slashed the air.
Oreily is bit surprised.
"You cut the wind? Evan, please stand back. I don't want to kill you." Oreily said.
"Unfortunately Oreily, I'm his bodyguard." Evan said with a smile.

Oreily sighed and took out her sword. A blue runic sword.
"I see.... then, I'll try my best not to kill you." Oreily swings her sword towards Evan. The sword got splits into seven parts and become like a whip.
Evan blocked Oreily's sword but her sword wrapped Evan's sword and trying to pull it. However, Evan himself rushed towards Oreily.
"Amazing speed." Oreily said with a bright smile. She retracted her sword and blocked the incoming attack from Evan.
"Evan, you fail as a bodyguard." She said as she directed her eyes to Noel.
"You think so?" Evan said calmly.
"I am."
A burst of wind heading towards Noel but he didn't move right away. Instead, he already finished chant a spell.
"Come, fire wall!" The fire rose in front of Noel and blocked the wind. The wind and fire clashed each other and created a fire tornado for a moment.
"He did well." Oreily said with displease. She pushed Evan away and then cast another wind blow which is pushed Evan away.
"I suppose, I'll show you more."
Her long black hair slowly floating and her once blue eyes turned into faint green and her body surrounded by the wind.
She dashed towards Evan. Her speed is faster than anyone he ever saw. Evan reacted quite late and was blown away by her kick.
"Eva- gugh!" Noel got a slash on his chest but it wasn't a deep wound.
"Die." Oreily said as she lifts her sword.
The moment when her sword fell. An ice coming out from the ground with a shape of spear almost hit Oreily if she didn't dodge right away.
"Evan? You used magic?" Oreily looks happy.
"I'm sorry Noel, but.... ice cube!"
The ice coming out near Noel and surrounded him. Noel got shocked and tried to melt the ice but the temperature suddenly dropped and the fire weakened.
"Oh, so you locked your friend. That ice looks sturdy." Oreily used her wind magic to made a cut on the ice cube.

"Oreily, let us stop." Evan said as he put down his sword.
"Why? This is just getting interesting." She smiled brightly and wind surrounded her body once again. Evan sighed, there is really no way to end this by words only.
"In that case." Evan raised his sword and hold it with his both hands and widen his legs.
"I'll finish this right away." Evan said with determination. He knew he couldn't win against Oreily's speed. He needs to bet everything with his next magic and attack.
"Oh, really? Then, let's see." Oreily floats from the ground and the wind blowing towards Evan. His face got a cut, his clothes almost tattered by the sharp wind. Yet, he didn't move and just keep waiting.
Oreily dashed at him with high speed along with the sharp wind, however-
"Absolute freeze." Evan muttered and in instant, his surrounding got covered by ice and Oreily stopped before she reached Evan. The sharp wind disappeared and blowing just like normal wind blow.
"Ughh...."
Evan groaned. His body is bleeding and his mana almost used up. Absolute freeze cost more mana than raising the dead.
Evan walks to Oreily and touches her face. She got froze but when Evan touched her, she fell to the ground and lost her consciousness. Evan grabbed her and put her on the ground.
"Good, she is still alive." Evan confirmed that she is not entirely frozen. Even though her temperature is low, Evan absorbed all the cold in her body and slowly raise her temperature.
Evan's body also healed and no wounds anymore can be seen. He shifted his gaze towards the ice cube and made it disappear. He saw Noel lying on the ground with his hand creating a fire. But the fire wasn't enough to warm himself.
"He is unconscious too." Evan muttered. But this is the best, with both of them lost their consciousness. They wouldn't have to fight anymore.
Evan didn't want to hurt Oreily since he never holds a grudge against her. Whenever she is a traitor or not, Evan isn't related to it.
"Ugh...."
Oreily was the one who woke up first. Her body still stiff and still has cold sensation.
"Oreily, you woke up." Evan greeted her. Oreily rubbing her eyes and then staring at Evan with an open mouth.
"Oh man.... you're just becoming wilder, aren't you?" She mentioned at Evan’s tattered clothes.
"Joking at times like this?"
"Well, you defeated me. That was shocking. I'd never thought I was defeated by you. Seem like it was a fate after all." She smiled and then she reached out her hand to Evan. Even though she reached nothing, she pulled her hand back and suddenly Evan got pushed and get closer to her.
Oreily hugged Evan and whispers.
"I would like to become your woman."
Evan widened his eyes when heard this. Is she sane?
"Sorry, but I already had one."
"Can't you just move on?"
"No.... not now." Evan pushed Oreily away. She is showing a bright smile than before. As expected, she is a different person and maybe dangerous.
"Oreily, I suggest you leave now."
"I intend to do so. My body is quite weak now." She slowly stood with help from Evan.
"I want to ask, why didn't you finish me off or caught me?" Oreily asked.
"If I got killed or caught. You will get a reward."
Evan shook his head and smiled.
"I don't have grudge against you and I'm not interested in the reward."
"Interesting. You're indeed a man worthy of my attention. See you again Evan." Oreily said before her body covered by rough wind and then disappear.
Evan sighed and then waiting for Noel to wake up.
"It is really a tiring day." He muttered while looking at the sky.
