Chapter 8 - Proposal?
Prince William POV
I’ve grown up being inferior to my brothers when it came to everything, my eldest brother, the first prince and the one in line to the throne was nicknamed the perfect prince, he was the best at almost everything but there was something he wasn’t good at, it was fighting. I found that I was more talented when it came to using the sword, I defeated my eldest brother in a duel and from that day on, I decided to dedicate my life to the sword.
Recently, a new powerful nation appeared up north, the tension down south was very bad and not being invaded from up north is a good thing, but I wanted to fight the strongest warrior in their arsenal to project the Crimea Dukedom's strength and for me to hone my skills, I was told that if I studied more, I can fight them. A few days passed and while I was walking towards the library, I heard some maid gossiped about something whilst cleaning.
“Hey, do you think the capital will be fine?”
“The estimated numbers from the scouts were 100,000 monsters, I’m not too sure if the capital can fend it off. The adventurers and Royal guards are probably fighting right now, all we can do is pray for their good luck.”
A stampede? What? I've never heard of such a thing from father, I wanted to participate too! I must ask father about why such an important piece of information is not yet told to me.
I charged through the hallway and towards the chamber with anger, the guards tried to block me but they were all tossed aside. Upon entrance I found a girl, around my age with platinum blonde hair and a petite body, I decided to ignore her and inquire my father about the stampede.

I was stunned, the petite girl before me was responsible for killing the most monsters during the stampede, my natural instinct decided to challenge her upon hearing from my father that she was from the powerful nation up north.
We headed to the Royal knight’s training ground which was about 80m square, in front of me was a girl leaving out many openings and she didn’t even take a stance, I’m being looked down on.
The commander of the Royal knights Charles, counted down from three, I saw her mutter something under her breath during the countdown but I wasn’t able to make sense of what she was muttering.
Upon Charles uttering one, we both launched ourselves at each other at high speeds, a massive shock wave blew the sand everywhere causing everyone’s vision to blur. The match was decided, the petite girl was behind me holding me in a lock with her arm around my neck, that was the first time my hear so fast, was this the so called rumoured mystery known as love? I decided to confess after she let go of me, I once heard from a wise man, ‘Do not hesitate to confess because it’ll be too late when you decide to.’ I kneeled in front of her and grasped her tiny smooth hands that perfectly fitted in my palm.
“Will you please be my bride?”
Shiro’s POV
What? A confession? What? WHAT?! I’m very confused, I didn’t know how to react, this lolicon just confessed to me. My mind can't think straight, this was the first confession I've ever had.
“I congratulate the both of you!”
The King who was quiet the whole time suddenly spoke up. Congratulate? I haven’t even accepted it yet! Baka!
“Uh-eh.... b-b-b-baka!”
I was way too flustered to properly reply and slipped my mouth, I then accidentally smashed the idiot lolicon to the ground while waving my arm with physical enhancement magic still active.

Ah, I messed up. I messed up real bad. Hopefully, I didn’t just make an enemy out of these guys.
After calming down a little, I rushed back to the inn as quickly as I could, next to the entrance of the inn stood the Guild master.
“Hey-”
“Sorry, I can’t now. I’ll talk to you later.”
I rushed upstairs and headed to my room, I jumped onto the hard, barely cushioned bed with my face red in my pillow. A sheltered girl such as myself can’t reply to such a sudden confession, wait, why do I feel so hot? Is there a napalm attack? No, those are illegal. A Molotov cocktail attack? No, wait, this is a medieval era. It can’t be love, right? I hated that idiot lolicon, but why is my body so hot?
