Prologue - Raquam Superpower

The Raquam State Empire or The Raquam Empire for short, is one of the few remaining countries that uses the feudal system and despite many criticisms after WW1, it has successfully executed it ever since the 1908 Civil war. The Raquam empire is only 1300 kilometers in width; it's considered a military powerhouse ranking in the top 5 in terms of its military contrary to its size, a treaty was signed in 2023 which restricts the military of the powerhouses making them unable to act aggressively against other countries and unable to participate in wars unless it’s against an armed militia, a country which breached an international agreement or for retaliation against an attack.The Empire has 2 Parliament houses, one consists of the country’s “Nobles” and the other consists of common citizens, each house has 15 seats, both sides make important decisions and arguments on a national matters, the King which is the head of Parliament and the Prime minister which is the adviser of the King makes the final judgment once both houses finish voting. All ministers except the Prime minister which supports the King, has to stay as neutral as possible in politics, this is required by law to maintain a power balance, if just one minister joins a side, a power struggle can happen. The Parliament looks very unstable but both sides are very loyal to the country, there has yet to be an uprising since the 1800s before the law was instituted by King Fredrick the IX, the law is always upheld especially in the upper echelon since a magic contract will be signed upon entering Parliament. Magic is very scarce with 1 in 300 millions having enough mana to cast a spell and 75% die before reaching adulthood due to magic sickness which is a rare disease that occurs in 1/20 people with magic power higher than 20 which is the average for a normal person.
