《Evolution-revolution ! ( On Hiatus.... I will never give up... just need time. )》On the way.

Last night we rented out a few rooms at a nearby inn, and slept like a rock.
*Really early in the morning*
"So.. are we all here ?" Rachel spoke up, 'taking' back the aura of a leader.
"Yes Boss-Leader" We responded.
"Now, I know that it's really early and we have just woken up, but we have to meet the other guys at the east of the town.. that's where we will set off for the forest." Rachel said for everyone, including herself.. seems like she still needed time to wake up.
"The sun, hadn't came up, so everything was in something like a dimly lit room. I hadn't had much time to actually appreciate the beauty of this city... Who knows if I would ever see it again, the way things are going, I doubt we are going to have a fun time in the forest.
As time passed and we closed on our location, I was able to see better, since the sun had risen up a little and illuminated our path. Many shops, most of them closed, but some of them just getting ready to open, as they say the early bird gets the worm... or the weak is the one that has to get early.. one of these two, I don't remember how it goes all that well.
Along the way, I noticed both luxurious and run down buildings.
There were so many places I could go and have some fun... But because of them I was buried in work.. I definitely have to go and visit Heavenly Palace sometime after we return. It makes great for stress relieving. ( AN: If you know what I mean *wink wink* )"
As they were heading to their destination, Rogu was already making his future plans.
"Hehe!" A small angelic laugh was heard.

"You guys ! Do you see that tall building?" Rachel pointed with her hand, to a far off 'tower' tall like building towards our left.
"That's the Heavenly Palace! The dream place for all men, young and old." Rachel said to everyone.
"And honestly, there was no way for ANY men not to know about it" Rogu thought.
"Ehh... what do you mean 'Dream place for all men's ?" Michael responded to her words, and left all of us dumbfounded... How can he not know ?!?!
"Oh yeah, I believe we forgot that he is only 15... even so, this doesn't make sense. Kid did you live under a rock ? Never mind, I believe that as adults, it is our responsibility to teach you about s-" Zarth said, before he was cut short by Rachel, no longer daring to complete that sentence.
"Guys, we've reached the eastern gates. The other teams should be around here, waiting for us!" Rachel's voice was heard again.
Which was met with a sarcastic comment from Rogu "I think that we will be the ones waiting for them. I mean considering what time it is." At the end with a bit of laughter in his voice.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

If Jake wins the local Fantasy Tactics Online tournament, he’ll have everything he’s ever dreamed of — a ticket out of town and the attention of a beautiful woman. However, this woman has more planned for him than a bus ride to the local metropolis. She teleports him back to her Realm and declares him her Master… and says it’s up to him to save the world. No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.
8 258The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
