Chapter 9: Start of escape.
As the young lady heard that, she seemed surprised. As she had no way of ensuring him of good fortune, she shut up. She awkwardly smiled to him, when she was done patching up his wounds and stood up, “Well, I'm done now, keep holding on. I'll find a way to get you out of here.”
When she left he room, she gave him one final look. When the door closed, Remy's eyes turned sharp. He looked at his wounds and started mumbling to himself in a low voice, “Something is wrong. There is no way a doctor here wouldn't know what the heck is going on here.” As he gave his wounds another look, a smile of mockery showed on his face.
He thought to himself, “This little lady is most certainly not a doctor, now the question is who the hell is she?” The wounds were dressed by an amateur who had no idea what she was doing. Also a lot of things didn't add up, such as, she being in a holding cell with him alone. No guards were inside, he could have easily used her as a hostage if needed. Something was definitely up but he had no idea what.
His guess was that the little lady was a part of the torturing squad. So, all of the information given by her may as well be invalid. Just as he was deep in thought, the torturer came in again. Seeing this, Remy understood that it was time for another round. He was dragged to the torture room where all of the instruments were set up already and just like last time, it was Hell.
When he had fainted from the pain, he was taken back to the holding cell, where the “doctor” would dress his wounds. This went on for what Remy counted to be 5 days. The way he counted it was thanks to the doctors underwear. Underneath the lab coat was a semi see through blouse and so Remy bet that she changed her underwear every day and counted it like that.

From that he also learned that he was tortured at least twice a day. Every time the doctor came in, she tried to bring escaping into the talk as well and tried to offer different methods on how to do so. What she did not know was that Remy was extremely sceptical of her and did not take any plan proposed by her into account since it was most likely a trap.
However, he did find opportunities to swipe a few scalpels and other necessities from her bag when she didn't notice. The medicine used properly coupled with a martial artists enhanced recovery, if he meditated, he could recover all the superficial wounds in a few hours. He had decided that he had had enough of this place and would break out.
He was the successor of the Dragon Martial Arts style after all, so escaping would not be a problem for him. Well, provided that everything went according to his plan and he truly hoped that he wasn't in the middle of Burgis Empire. He was about 70% sure of it as the sniper shot from the time he got caught had not healed enough, so two weeks could not have passed.
However, he had to take being in Burgis Empire into account as well because if he truly was there, the he would be in some seriously deep shit. He prepared his scalpels as they could be used as substitutes for knives. He secured his right hand in a sling and hid right next to the door. By his calculations, the torturer should come soon. In the past few days he picked him up alone so he was hoping that this time would be the same as well. As he was hiding there ready to strike, he heard the slit slide open.
As it opened the door suddenly burst open as well and the torturer rushed in with one guard seeing this, Remy immediately moved out and struck the major artery located in the groin area and watched as the two bleed to death. He did silence them so they could not alert anyone. When he had made sure that the two of them were dead, he took the weapons from them. As he peeked into the hallway to make sure anyone wasn't there, he heard footsteps from around the corner.

He tucked back inside and soon 2 guards saw the dead bodies through the open door. As they rushed in, Remy silenced them by slitting their throats from behind. He quietly listened and as he didn't hear any more footsteps he moved out. He quietly checked all of the rooms that he could and soon discovered a weaponry. There were all kinds of weapons and clothing there. As Remy looked for suitable weaponry he stumbled onto his old set of clothes.
When he saw them, he was surprised. Without further thought he checked to see if they had been modified or not before putting them on. “If my clothes were here, there is a high probability that my Desert Eagles are as well.” It was not wrong to think that as even his helmet was there. His phone had been disassembled and it could be seen that they tried to access it but had no luck.
He quickly assembled his phone and turned it on. It still had 30% battery left and Remy felt that if a God existed out there somewhere, then it was helping him out. The first thing he did was check the date. His hunch was correct and only 6 Days had passed since he was taken. He checked his location and saved it. He sent the coordinates to Alex and called him. He could hear a ruckus starting outside and he was sure that his only bet of survival was calling Alex.
As the phone rang, Remy felt like an eternity passed. When he heard that Alex picked it up, he immediately said, “Alex, I need an evac now. I've sent you my coordinates and I will try to move towards Hisosi.” From the other side of the phone he could hear Alex's voice, “Understood, we are on our way but tell me, how many and how bad?” Remy just said, “From how many people were there when they caught me, I'd say around 35 minus 4. The situation is pretty bad as I have no confidence in escaping.” Alex just said, “Then stay where you are and we will come and get you.”
At that moment the weaponry door flew open and three fully armed guards flew in. Remy double tapped everyone to the head and just said, “Staying put isn't an option gotta go.” With that he hung up and started looking for a vehicle to get out of this place with. Even though Remy's right arm had healed quite a lot, it was not in perfect condition so he was saving it to when he found his bike. If he did, he would have a very good chance of getting out of here.
Just as he went out the door and started heading along the hallway again, he heard a click behind his head. Following that came a familiar voice that said, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. Although your plan was good, did you honestly think that I wouldn't notice the scalpels going missing from by bag?”
As he turned around with his hands up he saw a familiar lady dressed in military fatigues, on he face was a sinister smile.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!

His Pet | Leatherface X OC (16+)
"Ohhhh, who's this again?" The creep asked. The one with the chainsaw shrugged quickly, looking to his right. I felt my heart jumping out of my stomach and my adrenaline pumping. "Bubba's got a girlfriend!" The creep bounced up and down, chanting that stupid shit. "P-please..." I begged. I looked into the killer's eyes. He looked.. embarrassed? He has emotion? Is that why he's not killing me? I saw him reach out to open the lock but his brother shoved him back, grabbing the lightweight chainsaw as he did. "Either sex... or the saw, Leatherface." His brother held up a chainsaw. I let out a small scream. "Le-leather... f-face?" I gasped, trying to somehow earn more sympathy. He looked at me and nervously fiddled with his tie. Please, dear God, please.... show emotion any emotion! -Warning-SwearingSexual content Sexual tension GoreKillingBloodBad humor;)
