I regained consciousness… everything was black… I opened my eyes… it wasn’t black anymore…

then I wondered why I wasn’t more… dead. Then I looked around and saw a corpse… the corpse seemed oddly familiar… then I realized why! It wasn’t just a corpse! It was MY corpse! I jumped back… well at least I tried because I didn’t “jump” I floated back. When I looked down at my selve, I didn’t see anything… after that it was pretty clear what I had become…

I had turned into a ghost after reincarnating into another world

Ok after - I don’t know how long – I calmed down. I experimented with my new “body” and it could have been worse… but it could be way better, too. A good thing is I can move freely in the air. Another good thing is I can move through objects… a bad thing is I can only move through objects I can not interact with anything physical. The good point at it is I can’t die… well at least not through physical damage. Also, nothing physical can stop me. I can go through doors and walls - not that there are any at the bottom of this abyss. After that, I started to try out the usual other world stuff like saying “status” or something. And … bingo! If I say – well, think, because I am unable to say anything – “menu” a menu opens just like in a game. In that menu I can see my info. My current personal info is:

I was baffled because this really is like a game. And the first thing that caught my eye was [Visibility Control]. I used it and I could see my body. I was still transparent, but it was better than before. The second thing was [Influence Objects] I tried to use it, but… well I could somehow touch it, but I just couldn’t move anything. It is probably because my strength is zero. I tried to possess things, too, but I couldn’t possess my corpse – not that it would have any use because of the state of my corpse - and when I tried to possess a stone I couldn’t move it… This is all useless!

After I had calmed down I spotted another skill [Skill Check]. I tried using it on [Possesion (low)] and another window arose before me:

A skill that can only be learnd by spiritual beings like ghosts.

The user can depending on the level (low, middle, high, ?) possess different objects or creatures

Low: can posses non-organic objects | Uses 20 MP when used. Uses 5 MP per minute

Uses power of the user or a skill to move.

Middle: can possess corpses | Uses 50 MP when used. Costs 15 MP per minute

Can use strength of user to move or a Skill. Corpse doesn’t rot as long as they are possessed and 3 hours after the user leaves the body. Body can be restored with MP cost vary acording to the state of the corpse

High: Living things |Uses 100 MP when used. Uses 50 MP per minute (amount can change depending on the Willpower and Mentalpower of the possessed)

can completely use the body of most living creatures that are possessed as long as there mental power is 75% of the users Mental Power or Below or there willpower below that of the user. The user can allowe the possessed to watch what he is doing or not

To next level: 1 [Skill Point]

Wait - does that mean I can possess my own body when I level this skill up? I instantly used a [Skill Point] and tried to possess my corps and it worked: I restored my body. It cost 500 MP. But I can now use my body again… Well I can’t move… But why…?

After reading the info from the skill again I noticed why I had problems. It was because I had 0 strength and the skill uses the strength of the user to move the possessed corpse. Well now the question is: What am I supposed to do? I could use my 15 [Status Points] on strength and maybe use my corpse or I don’t and use it later… I also don’t know if 15 strength would be enough to move my corpse. I do have 100 points in Agility and 500 in Mental Power. Well - nothing ventured, nothing gained! For the time being I used 5 [Status Points] and tried to possess and move my corpse. As expected, I could only move my body reeeaaaally slow, it used up about 200 MP in only a minute when I moved and I couldn’t move objects. I used another 5 [Stat Points] in Strength. After that I could now move my body a bit faster. It was still slow and it only took about 150 SP in one minute. I can now with an extra 25 SP move a rock about one meter. After having used my last 5 [Stat Points] I can now move a bit slower than walking speed while using 100 SP in a minute and move a rock about a meter with an extra 20 SP. It is still way too slow and takes way too much SP. So I decided to try something Game like: XP Hunting!­­­­­­­
