《Absorbed》Chapter 17

“Anyways follow us for food” said the Axe wielding man as he rested it on his shoulder
*That sounds bad enough, but well I am hungry who cares right* thought Klaine as he then said “Okay, I’ll follow right behind you”
“No you follow him and I’ll be behind you” said the bow wielding man as he was still careful
But Klaine did not know anything about this so he just said “Okay then” as he followed right behind the axe wielding man and the bow wielding man following right behind him.
After observing Klaine in front of him he started asking his self *Why does he not worry at all? Is he that strong or did he really just need food that badly? Wait a hunter must know how to at least cook the thing they hunted right? So is he not a hunter? Then is he an adventurer? No an adventurer must atleast know how to cook even if it's overcooked right?, and if he can't even do that then He should at least know the basic manner of bringing food with him right? Or is he a slave of those goblins? But no he is too strong to be a slave to those goblins then just who the hell is he? No, more importantly what is he even doing here? Without being prepared too fully but he still came here, is he dumb or did he get lost? THAT MUST BE IT! He got lost indeed and now he want to go out of this forest using us, and he must be searching for food too, but no he might be acting and is probably waiting for us to let our guard down so no! I must never let my guard down, that’s it it’s decided then, I’ll just watch him for now*

Klaine felt the careful watch of the guy just behind him, but he did not care about it, what he needed from them is food nothing else.
The axe wielding man was also on guard, in case his comrade shouts.
“We are nearing the camp” said the axe wielding man.
“Oh that’s a good news then since I’m very hungry over here” replied Klaine
“Your tone makes me want not to share anything to you…” replied the bow wielding man
“Eh, Come on don’t be like that we should be friends hahaha” replied Klaine
The bow wielding man felt the urge to suddenly punch this man in front of him but he had to suppress it, since he knew that this guy was strong and he doesn't want to risk their lives fighting when the guy just needs food anyways if he indeed wanted to kill them then they will risk their lives then, but if he only really wanted to eat then it would be good enough.
After around 3 minutes they finally arrived at the camp.
He saw a campfire and barrels which he think contains food and drink
Klaine asked “How do you even find your camp back after you go out that far?”
“Eh, that’s supposed to be normal… or maybe not, it’s because we can at least remember something easy like that, and since we mostly hunt in this forest.” Replied the axe wielding man
“But man you sure are big, and doesn’t the axe make your shoulder tired at all?” asked Klaine
*He just changed his question like that? What the heck?* thought the bow wielding man
“Hahaha, No it doesn’t make my shoulder tired at all, for me it’s as light as a wooden baton” replied the Axe Wielding man

“Mhm, anyways where is the food?” said Klaine
*This man is slowly getting on my nerves* thought the bow wielding man as he suppressed the urge to punch the man in front of him again.
“Here you go” said the Axe Wielding man as he removed one of the cover on top of one barrel as he took out a brown sack and tossed it at Klaine.
Klaine opened it and saw black bread and 6 jerky.
He then took one of the jerky as he started eating it, as he then took a bite at the black bread after the jerky.
*The taste is rough and the bread is hard as fuck, the meat at the goblin camp was better than this, like what the heck, oh well I guess this is what people who stay outside for a long time eats, can’t be picky now* thought Klaine as he started munching on it.
The two people besides him saw that he started eating for real as they too took a sack and started eating what was inside.
*He did not even bother thinking about the food being poisoned, hmm such carelessness, or either he trust us? No how can he trust someone randomly just like that?* thought the Bow wielding man.
“So what do you plan on doing next after this?” asked the Axe wielding man as he looked at Klaine.
Klaine looked back at the Axe wielding man as he said “No Idea, I am lost in this endless sea of forest.”
*Looks like he was indeed lost* thought the Bow wielding man.
“Hmm that sounds troublesome indeed, how about coming with us? We are just about to head back to the town anyways” asked the Axe wielding man.
*I indeed don’t find any problem with him coming with us to the town since he looks like he can fight anyways* thought the Bow wielding man as he continued eating.
“Really? Then that would be great!!!” replied Klaine.

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
