---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hm, it's my turn now, Leon come and watch my fight," Lumios smiled.
Leon nodded, Leon never got a chance to watch Lumios fight, but he knew he was a crowd favourite: A genius commoner at the same level as the talented youths from the huge organisations, it would definitely cause the commoners to be filled with pride.
Lumios walked onto the ring and opposite to him was Darius Feuer. Darius was a huge muscular fellow, with arrogance written all over his face. The crowd knew who Darius Feuer was, he was from the Scorching Fire Tribe, which made it obvious he had a Fire element Vision, however he wasn't ordinary, he was the main representative and the young branch master of the Scorching Fire tribe branch.
"Hehe, a commoner like you should leave. I'll tell you this right now, I am an 8th ranked Awakened and a genius who reached this level at the age of 16, I'll give you the chance to surrender." sneered Darius.
As he said this he pulled out a sword from his scabbard and threw the scabbard out of the ring. The sword was double edged and was stainless and emitted a bronze aura.
"A Bronze tier sword..." Murmured Leon, Weapons were separated into tiers and the bronze tier was the lowest but it's power was much better compared to ordinary weapons.
Suddenly the sword erupted into red flames releasing a fiery bronze aura while the sword was constantly burning, however it's shape was still visible under the red roaring flames and the beholder Darius was unaffected by the flames.
"Times up you had long enough to retreat," smirked Darius while Lumios didn't say a word and just carried on staring at him.
Darius Immediately pushed off the ground and rapidly closed the distance between him and Lumios, instantly gave an overhead swing which crashed down onto Lumios.
Lumios gracefully sidestepped as the sword crashed onto the ring floor leaving cracks on the floor. Unexpectedly the flames erupted in all directions, narrowing down on Lumios, despite that Lumios's expression was calm and he instantly disappeared from the spot and appeared ten metres away.
Lumios calmly stood there and took a step forward as he rapidly closed down on the relaxed Darius, he formed a spear with his hand as a blue thin aura surrounded it and then swiftly stabbed into the arrogant young man's sword shoulder.
"AAAAGGGGHH!" Roared the arrogant Darius as his face twisted with shock and pain as he dropped onto the ring floor writhing in pain. Blood spurted out of the wound on his shoulder as soon as Lumios withdrew his palm leaving no trace of blood on himself.
"Shut your mouth!" Lumios uttered coldly looking down at Darius's figure writhing on the floor. "An arrogant young master like you are the type of people I hate the most."Lumios coldly whispered so only Darius could hear, "You an 8th rank dare have arrogance when a 9th rank Awakened is in front of your eyes."
Darius's eyes widened as he squirmed in pain. The tense atmosphere in the Coliseum exploded into cheers for Lumios who was the crowd favourite. A commoner instantly overpowering a big character was unknown to them and it filled them with intense joy and pride.
In the booth of the Scorching Fire Tribe, the members were all shocked, Darius was a 8th ranked Awakened and he was pushed down by Lumios, whom didn't even activate his Vision, that could only mean...

"9th Ranked Awakened," Murmured Elder James who was taken aback by the swift attack. "HAHAHA!" Laughed Elder James Joyously. "Izak boy, there's such a monstrous genius in this city. That kid he's reached the 9th rank at the age of Twelve, what is with this place?"said Elder James as he shook his head while speaking to Izak." This boy also trains in External Techniques, however it is nowhere near Leons level but it's still astonishing. Izak boy which clan does this kid belong to?"
Izak was also astonished with the young man performance, his talent was at the same level as Leons, nevertheless to reach 9th rank at the age of Twelve you need an insane desire to get stronger. "Elder James, this may be astonishing, that kids name is Lumios, he is just a commoner and the son of one of the guards in the Kaiser Clan." Said Izak, as he didn't know of Lumios's existence till yesterday when he saw his performance so he naturally went and searched through his background information.
Elder James mouth gaped, "That kid is not from a big clan? What kind of monster is he to have such frightening talent without any resources or backing... Quickly Charice go, quickly go and invite him to the institute, with such terrifying talent he'll definitely be a huge figure in the future and Darick go and find his parents and inform them of this." Elder James said frantically, he couldn't lose such a gem to an outside force. Two Middle aged men from the group vanished from the booth as soon as Elder James gave the order.
Izak was shocked the two men were so fast that he didn't even sense them leave and then he unconsciously glanced at the third middle aged man who was calmly sitting there.
Darius staggered onto his feet, one hand covering the stab on his shoulder holding the sword and the other holding his bronze tier sword, he stared at Lumios resentfully. "Hahahaha!" Cackled Darius as his hair started to rise, "So what if you're a 9th rank, I was just underestimating you. Even if I'm an 8th rank Awakened, I've never unleashed my full power...Let me show you the power of a 'Soul Force: Soul Body'!" He bellowed.
Suddenly a red gust of wind pushed Lumios tens of meters away from his original position, he was shocked he instantly put his guard up, the crowd went silent the group inside the Scorching fire tribe smirked.
"A Soul Force Master that has Soul body... it's going to be really hard for the kid now." Elder James murmured as his expression turned serious.
Leon was watching this in the side lines, when he heard 'Soul Force Master', he was shocked. Leon had read what a Soul Force Master was in a couple of books: Soul Force master's were very rare, you could say there was only one in a million people who could become one. They had power to increase their Elemental energy, physical capabilities and comprehension drastically and fight people in higher ranks, they could use formations and they gained many other benefits.
From Darius's power you couldn't even rank him into a Soul Force Master, nevertheless his power increased, the flames on his sword changed from red to white, releasing a strong oppressive aura. He instantly charged at Lumios, his speed increased by many folds when he released his Soul Force. As he raced towards Lumios he bellowed loudly and smashed his sword down. Lumios had barely anytime to dodge it and the ends of his robes was cut off.

Lumios was sweating because of the scorching heat, however he had no time to relax as he was bombarded with constant sword strikes, he was constantly being pushed into a corner. He was dodging frantically as Darius swung his sword with an overhead cut, a slash, a horizontal swing and a stab. Lumios's robes were torn and cuts could be seen on his white skin, blood was being drawn from the wounds soaking his robe, his robe was also left with scorch marks as he was profusely sweating.
"FLAME IMPACT" bellowed Darius, the sword covered in white flames, orderly formed a blade around the edges of the sword. As he cut down at Lumios, Lumios was about to dodge when suddenly the flame blade exploded sending flames in all directions. Lumios dodged it, however the flames sent out burned his left shoulder.
"AAAAGGGGHH!" He screamed. The impact sent him tumbling to the edge of the ring and now he had nowhere to escape. His left shoulder was drenched with blood coming out of the burned flesh wound and he was sweating profusely as his blonde hair matted his forehead.
"Why don't you take your Vision out? For the entire tournament and even right now you're arrogant enough to think you don't need it. Well it doesn't matter anyway, it won't make a difference." Darius scorned. "This is what you get for wounding me, I'll repay it with interest."
"Flame Impact" called out Darius again pushing off the ground as he ran straight towards Lumios, he placed his sword on his left shoulder preparing to swing diagonally at Lumios and then Lumios's frantic face turned serious.
Boom...
Darius was sent a hundred metres away from Lumios as Blue Flames erupted and howled around Lumios, surrounding him in all directions at a radius of fifty meters, roaring as it blurred Lumios's figure. After a few moments the field of blue flames slowly died down.
The fierce atmosphere in the stands instantly died down. Every single booth, filled with major powers were shocked, they had just seen the fierce power of 'Flame Impact', but it had been swiftly repelled, even Leon was shocked as he stared at the ring.
Lumios looked towards Darius who was staggering, trying to stand up, he trembled under the power he just felt. Lumios stared calmly at Darius and then spoke frostily, " I was trying to hide my Vision until the finals, but not everything follows a plan... Let me show you my full power."
"Fire Tuefel Manifestation," the blue flames in the ring rapidly flowed towards Lumios, the flames coalesced around him, his body vanished, leaving a body of flame, wings made out of fire sprouted out from his burning shoulders. Where his eyes were meant to be, a menacing red glow filled it. Every single person in the stadium was shocked, it was eerily tense, the cackles of the flames could be heard. They were all staring at the stupendous figure that looked like a heavenly body or was it a demon that came from hell.
Leon was stunned to the extreme, however it was nothing compared to the figures inside the booth, but no one was more surprised than Elder James, this has been the most shocking thing he had seen in a very, very long time. "He has a Fire Origin Vision and it's an Elemental Manifestation, this kid is a monster, nothing can be used to describe him. His potential is much higher than what I first expected, we have to obtain him, no matter what." Said Elder James frantically, so that everyone could hear him, Izak was shocked as well, however since he knew Leon's potential he wasn't as surprised as everyone else in the booth. Niel was shocked, he was extremely talented compared to his peers in the Sarien Institute but it was nothing compared to the kid on the ring, whom possessed an Origin Vision, he'll be a person that the Sarien Kingdom will spend an unlimited amount of resources on once he enters the institute.
Admiring gazes filled the Coliseum. Kline was shocked, Ed however smiled at Lumios.
"You dared to be arrogant in front of me, let me show you the power of a true genius." Lumios no longer had the temperament of a twelve year old, his mental age was way older than his looks. Lumios walked towards the trembling Darius and then in a flash took a large stride towards him leaving traces of blue flames behind.
Darius madly swept his sword and roared, "SCORCHING FIRE STYLE: WHITE FLAME DANCE!" An immensely huge white flame erupted from the sword rushing at Lumios's devilish body. The arrogant eyes of the group from the scorching fire tribe turned into worry, they knew that this attack would definitely allow Darius to win and that Lumios had no chance of going unscathed, but they knew that it would take a week for him to regain his strength because that technique would even severely injure a 1st ranked Prime Visionist.
Everyone in the Coliseum stared anxiously for the outcome of this spectacular fight, however every single group from the big organisations were confident Lumios would lose now... Except for Elder James.
Lumios stopped advancing and stood there, his menacing red eyes stared at the huge white flames howling at him as it pressed towards him, as soon as the flames came into contact with his radiant blue flames, something inconceivable happened... The Blue flames from Lumios instantly devoured the white flames leaving no traces of the spectacular 'White Flames'.
The crowd erupted into cheers, the powerful Visionists from the big groups however were dumbfounded, it was as if a thunderbolt struck them awake.
Darius stared at Lumios lifelessly his expression was of utter disbelief. To him Lumios looked like a Demon that came from Hell, he had never felt so scared in his entire life, he was a young branch master of the Scorching Fire Tribe but right now he felt like he was an ant staring at death himself. When Lumios came close enough he unexpectedly gave a swing of his sword out of pure fear. The blade connected with Lumios's ribs and it cleaved through him, a large sword wound was left on his chest as Lumios dropped onto the floor. The crowd went into an uproar when this happened, Darius's fear changed into disbelief, then joy and then arrogance once again as he turned around pretty sure that he won the fight, the spectators turned wide eyed in fear.
Lumios was slowly standing up, his wound was healing at a ferocious speed. His menacing eyes showed indifference, Darius looked back at his sword and he was instantly petrified with fear, his bronze tier sword had melted, as drops of hot metal sizzled onto the floor. Darius dropped onto the floor, madly crawling backwards.
Lumios walked towards him slowly but steadily, each step caused a mountain of pressure to befall on Darius. Suddenly the most unexpected thing happened... Darius wet himself because of the fear.
"St...Stop... I'm the... Young branch master of the Scorching Fire Tribe..." stuttered Darius as Lumios walked towards him, the temperature around him was swelteringly hot, the big body was now shrivelled in fear. Lumios stared at Darius calmly, Darius was the type of person he hated the most so he couldn't care less about what happened to him, he pulled his flaming hands for a punch...
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM!" A voice suddenly erupted from the Scorching fire tribe branch.
Lumios didn't care who he was, his fiery fists still connected with Darius's chest, "Crack...Crack," bones breaking could be heard as Darius was shot out of the ring like a bullet and crashed into another ring, where two other fighters had stopped just to watch their fight.
Darius's body left a crater in the other ring, his chest was caved in, burnt to a crisp, blood was profusely coming out of his mouth, as he stayed limp, unconscious on the ground.
A middle aged man instantly appeared next to Darius, "NO! Darius stay with me!" and then a couple other men appeared from the Scorching Fire tribe, "Quickly treat him, give him the healing pill and take him away!" Roared the middle aged man.
"Yes Branch Master Feuer!" the men nodded and quickly treated Darius.
Branch Master Feuer gaze moved from his son to Lumios, Killing intent and blood thirst emanated out of him, directed at Lumios. Instantly a horrifyingly large amount of red flames converged around his palm and then he leaped going straight towards Lumios who was already back into his normal form, he was worn out and helpless after activating his Vision.
"Damian, stop him..." Said Elder James coldly and then the third man disappeared and appeared right in front of the weary and powerless form of Lumios.
"Stop..." he uttered one word and the energy around the branch masters collapsed and disappeared. The Branch Master was sweating profusely, no one could feel the power of the middle aged man except for the branch master. This man's power was many times stronger than his own power.
"This boy will not be touched by anyone here. He has been accepted as a student of the Sarien institute by Elder James himself, he and his family have the protection of the institute." The middle aged man's words echoed around the Coliseum.
The branch master knew what the words meant, it meant he couldn't take revenge on the kid or his family. The Spectators in the Coliseum gasped and their gazes moved towards the booth Elder James was in and they saw Elder James nodding at the words of the Middle aged man.
The crowd went into a huge stir of pandemonium, Leon, Kline and even Ed was surprised, however Kline and Ed were envious of Lumios, but Leon felt happy for him. Lumios deserved this because of his monstrous talent.
"Match One of the second round winner is... Lumios." The referee roared as the spectators turned into a huge hubbub of commotion. They never expected that they could see a fight like this today, without realising the crowd had actually seen an Origin Vision in action.
Lumios walked wearily walked off the ring when he reached the ground he swayed for a bit. Leon appeared out of nowhere and helped him steady himself and walk.
"Lumios, you're so powerful to even catch the eyes of the Sarien Institute," Spoke Leon delightedly without a hint of envy.
When Lumios looked into his eyes and was surprised that he didn't see fear or envy in Leon. This guy is really honest, he is a trustworthy friend. Lumios smiled, he was happy that he made an honest friend.
"Oh it was nothing," he said embarrassedly. Leon and Lumios carried on joking around, Izak saw this and was surprised that Leon and Lumios were friends, he felt happy for him because since Leon was a kid, he never truly made a friend because of how he was looked down upon except for Saffire, his maid. Sadly she died two years ago because of an incurable disease which left Leon severely scarred. Because of this he would spend many days staring at the lake, this slowed down his training, but then suddenly his training speed increased by manifolds because he wanted to show Saffire he was going to become stronger. Now you could say that Lumios was Leons first real friend after Saffire and Izak felt happy for him.
"Lumios, when you turned into that flame form, you were so cool, but you were cold as well." said Leon.
"Yeah, I know. For some reason that happens, when I transform I lose all feelings for my enemy and I stop hesitating when I attack." Replied Lumios.
Leon nodded and then they carried on chatting until they reached the resting area, after around ten minutes Leon was called.
"Group 4, Match 10 Leon Vs Ariel."
---------------------
Leon for the first time fought against a girl, since he was a guy he naturally hesitated to give decisive attacks against Ariel, because of this the fight dragged on. Ariel wasn't an easy person to face as she was a 5th ranked Awakened, nonetheless Leon dragged the fight until he exhausted her and pushed her off the ring, winning his first fight of the day.
After the fight between Lumios and Darius, nothing interesting happened, however the crowd was still ecstatic when they saw Lumios coming back on the stage, but every single person that came after Darius all gave up, disappointing the crowd. The very few that had the guts to face Lumios were overwhelmed instantly. On the other rings Leon, Kline and Ed fought their way through their own groups and coming out first. By the end of the second day, no one had seen Ed bring out his Vision, which made him very mysterious and Kline brought out his Vision once against a person from the Dual Sword School and won.
Everyone in the stands new that Leon had no Vision, but what they were shocked about was that he could face 5th ranked Awakened without any visible hardship. In the beginning the spectators thought that he was lucky in the first fight however on the first day and the second day he won all his fights and advanced to the finals, everyone thought this was the furthest he'll make in the tournament. This was something already worthy of praise but sadly Leon didn't have a Vision or he would have been even more shocking than Lumios.
----------------------------
When Leon got home, he found Lumios, a middle aged man who looked very similar to Lumios except he had brown hair and green eyes, and a woman that had blonde hair and blue eyes like Leon. They must have been Lumios's mother and father. His father was casually chatting with Izak and Elder James, while his mother was with Leons mother, Autumn.
Once Leon arrived they had already finished talking, Lumios, his mother and father were both very happy after the talk ended.
Leon arrived next to Lumios after he greeted Izak, Elder James and Lumios's father.
"Lumios, why are you here? and why are you so happy?" Leon asked.
Lumios still had a smile on his face as he replied. "Me, my mother and my father will live here until the end of the tournament, and why I am so happy is because I got accepted into the Sarien Institute and my parents are allowed to move with me into the Capital city of the Kingdom."
Leon was shocked, however he expected as much because of Lumios's monstrous talent. Leon congratulated him and showed Lumios around the mansion as Lumios's parents were talking to Izak and Autumn, Leon found out Lumios's fathers name was: David Rakel and his mother's name was, Iris Rakel. Leon even showed Lumios his favourite place in the mansion, the roof tops that faced the lake, flower garden and the moon. After a while Leon led Lumios to his room to take rest for the finals.

An Id of Primal Chaos
TAG DISCLAIMER: The tags 'Portal Fantasy / isekai', 'High Fantasy', and 'Non-Human Lead' do not take place until later on in the novel. Probably mid-way through the first volume. The 'villainous lead' tag is a very loose tag. Some of the things the mc does can be considered villainous to those with a staunch moral code, however, I have not made the mc out to be overtly villainous. True Title: Advent of the Silent Storm (I came up with the original title a while ago, before I had even written a single chapter. It still kind of fits but this new title fits a lot better. I would change it but I don't know if it would screw up the recommendation algorithm.) Excerpt: My mind wanders through the soup of unconsciousness, still startlingly awake despite my physical form’s stasis. Electricity completely paralyzes the air around me and lightning flashes in a constant strobe of blinding light. The ground, thousands of feet below my being has been wiped clean of all manmade artifice and natural beauty; leveled, through absolute power. My power. Synopsis: Tetal Faelen, a very successful businessman with lofty goals, is introduced to an omniscient being through less than pleasant means. This being has an irresistible offer for Tetal with next to no downside. Tetal can’t help but wonder, “What’s the catch?” Additional Notes: Second novel I have started within the Web of Interconnected Realities. My other novel is not posted on this site so don't bother looking for it. I might post it here in the future.

Shadow Emperor
This is one of my side projects. It is about a young innocent boy, who has some mishap happening at the date of his birth. Through circumstances he is forced to strenghten himself. His fate was decided long ago, and this story is just the journey to his fate. It is very xianxia/xuanhuan-esque, with some Western elements mixed in. It is a cultivation novel, and it will have gore, sexual depictions, but to an extent. Most of the time it is either fun or exciting, as you will see an innocent boy's rise to the Emperor of the Shadows..
