《Legend Of Kaiser》Chapter 9: Leon's Dreams

"Ring One - Match One Leon Kaiser Vs Erik Helder From the Lucius Group!"
The entire stadium went into an uproar, everyone was excited, they could finally see a Visionist trained by the Lucius Group.
Inside the Lucius groups booth, a well dressed middle age man in a suit was delighted by the uproar. "It seems we're facing a member of the Kaiser Clan." smirked the middle aged man.
"Manager, the boy that Erik is facing is the son of Izak, however he doesn't have a Vision," said another man.
"Oh it's like that... that means Erik will easily win the first round, Erik is after all a 4th rank Awakened." said the Manager.
"Yes of course he'll win."
----------------------
The crowd in the stands were mostly made up of citizens from Reon. "Isn't that Young master Leon, I heard he was born without a Vision," said a man.
"Wait he doesn't have a Vision that means he has no chance, I also heard that Erik is a 4th rank Awakened Visionist."
Inside the Booth where Izak was in Elder James stared attentively at Leon who was in the ring, "Hm, Izak boy do you think your son has any chance of winning?" asked Elder James.
"Elder let's just watch and see how this will all play out," Izak said calmly.
As soon as the referee announced the fighters, Leon and Erik walked into the ring at the same time, they both stood approximately a hundred metres apart.
"Hehe... I heard you're Leon, the young master of the Kaiser Clan and it seems you don't have a Vision. Since I, the great Erik, am in a good mood today I'll let you forfeit." Erik spoke arrogantly.
Leon stood there his rare brown eyes intelligently evaluating the boy ahead of him, Erik was covered completely in black, black long sleeve t-shirt and black joggers which emphasized his white skin, he looked like he was 16 years old and was well built.
"No need, I am only here to gain experience from our fight," smiled Leon.
"Arrogant kid, you don't know when a person is trying to be merciful, I am a 4th rank Awakened, you'll regret not taking this opportunity later." Remarked Erik.
4th rank Awakened? What is that? Are there rankings in the Awakened state, is that why it's so hard to reach the Prime state. Hm... I'll ask Father later.
The commotion caused by the spectators was huge and then the referee spoke.
"Ok, you two get ready... the match starts Now!" roared the referee.
"I warned you kid I won't show you any mercy...Fire Vision manifestation: Sinister Flame Axe" Erik roared and then immediately a battle axe formed completely from fire appeared, it was red and had a domineering yet fiery aura that could burn down anything down within a ten metre radius, however it was nothing compared to Azeon. The blade on the battle axe was constantly burning, it was as if it was made for burning things down rather than for cutting or for killing.
What!! His Vision is Fire and he used it to form a battle axe... How many other possible techniques could this guy possibly have. Wait if you can use Fire to form a weapon that means I can use external energy to form a weapon, but I have Azeon now so there's no point. Leon thought of himself.

"Kid I'll let you attack first, since I'm still in a good mood."Erik spoke breaking Leon's daze in the middle of the fight.
"Are you serious?" Leon asked Joyously.
"Yes Kid, hurry up." Erik became rather annoyed because he had to face a kid that could barely make his blood boil in a fight.
"Okay," Leon stuck his hands out and Azeon appeared out of thin air, this was something he figured out during his three years of training, as soon as he bound Azeon he was able to summon it from about anywhere.
As soon Azeon appeared it released an incredible pressure that everyone in the stadium felt.
In the booth that Izak and Elder James were in, Elder James was shocked, "That sword is so powerful even I feel overwhelmed, where did you find that Izak boy?"
Even Elder James is overwhelmed, that sword really is mysterious. "Elder that is something I cannot say, however I think Leon will give you a nice surprise."
"Hm," Elder James nodded. "What's Leon doing?... Wait, is he gathering the Natural energy in the air from the Elements?... External Technique" Elder James gasped, he was stunned, thunderstruck in fact.
Leon at this moment was concentrating as the specks of energy gathered around him and in a few seconds he was covered in a glowing white radiant armour and Azeon was also covered with energy. The energy was far thicker around his arms and legs, Leon was showing off his three years worth of fruitful training.
"Energy Armour, Focussed armour and Weapon Armament, Izak your son... how is he capable of doing this, he should only be able to reach this level if he trained for fifteen years constantly and yet your son is only Eleven years old. How long did it take Leon to reach this stage?" Elder James was constantly surprised by Leon, a boy without a Vision mastered the basics of External techniques.
"Elder James, would you believe me if I said three years." Izak said.
"What! Three years, what kind of monster is your son!" Elder James eyes were wide open with shock.
At this moment Leons eyes changed from an immature expression into a serious one, he took a step forward and vanished leaving just a trace of wind carrying dust, the entire stadium went into a huge uproar, the spectators couldn't see where Leon vanished off to, even Erik lost track of Leon. So fast, where did that kid disappear off to... I thought he didn't have a Vision, what kind of Bullshit is this.
Suddenly Leon appeared right in front of Erik, Erik's eyes were wide opened with disbelief, he didn't have enough time to put his guard up as he struggled to lift his battle axe.
Leon immediately slashed horizontally, smashing into Erik's battle axe sending him airborne as he ripped across the arena and landed outside the ring. Erik immediately coughed out a mouthful of blood staining his black t-shirt red, he stared at Leon sceptically, he didn't understand what happened to him.
"First Match Winner is Leon!" Roared the referee who was also in shock, he was from the Kaiser clan and understood the circumstances of Leon but he couldn't believe it.
Leon looked at him and gave off an innocent smile, "thank you for your guidance," calmly said Leon while Erik was still dazed with disbelief. A ranked 4 awakened is only this strong... that was less than half of my power.

Erik woke up from his daze and cried out, "Wait! Let me fight him again I just underestimated him!" his expression was unsightly and he was full of regret for underestimating his opponent.
"No, the fight is over" warned the referee coldly as he released the aura of a Prime.
The crowd grew into a large hubbub, they were all discussing how Leon, a kid with no Vision, defeated a Fire elemental Visionist in the 4th rank.
In the booth that the Lucius Group was staying in, the Managers face was unsightly, Erik had underestimated his opponent and lost. What was worse is that he stained the branches reputation by losing against someone without a Vision while having his Vision out.
"Izak boy... your son is amazing, did you know of this?" asked Elder James, inside the booth.
"Yes I did Elder," Izak said calmly, however he just couldn't stay calm inside, this kid, how much stronger did he get in three years.
"External techniques they are very hard and time consuming to train in but the effects are amazing and your son displayed it perfectly" Elder James praised.
In the participants rest area, Kline, Ed and Lumios were watching the fight. All three of them were able to see Leons movements with ease. "Master Ed, it seems that trash has grown a bit stronger, but he's still too slow and the only reason he won was because he released a large amount of power in a short moment when the enemy had his guard too low... Hehe, when I face him I won't make such a simple mistake." Said Kline as he analysed the fight.
Ed just nodded, not interested in the fight. To Kline a 4th ranked Awakened was nothing compared to Ed and Lumios's power.
Ed was a 9th rank Awakened, while Kline was a 8th rank and Lumios was a 9th rank as well, which is why Ed warned Kline not to fight Lumios. Despite that he didn't even consider Leon as an opponent, worthy enough for him to face.
As time passed Kline, Ed and Lumios all went in to fight and they all came out with overwhelming victories. There were moments during the day when their opponent instantly forfeited after having seen what they accomplished in the previous fights, they were considered the favourites in the Path of Kings. The three of them gained favourable impressions from the big factions that came. In the first round the three of them didn't even activate their Vision once, they only used the Elemental energy to win.
Leon on the other hand was not considered in favour, the spectators all thought he won because of luck. In the second fight Leon appeared again, however he never activated weapons armament and focussed armour, he only used Energy armour and easily took care of his opponent who was a 3rd rank Awakened, this shocked the everyone including the branches of the big factions including Elder James.
Leon came onto the ring to fight again and again and he would win with ease, however the strongest opponent he faced on the first round was a 5th rank Awakened and he expended more than half of his strength. By the end of the first day, the first stage of the tournament had ended, eliminating 1800 individuals leaving only two hundred fighters. Leon, Lumios, Ed and Kline had won all their fights without losing a single one and were qualified to enter the second stage the next day.
--------------------------
Leon walked out of the coliseum while the stars were out and there stood his father.
"Father, where is Elder James?"
"Don't worry about Elder James I've accommodated them in a five- star suite in one of our hotels. Let's forget about that, Leon you, you have exceeded all my expectations today, you easily took care of all your opponents." Izak praised. "However Leon, just because you won don't get too confident and overestimate your abilities."
Leon nodded and then inquired, "Father, when I was in the ring all my opponents kept saying they were a certain rank in the awakened state, is there a hierarchy in the realms of power?"
"Ah, I forgot to explain this to you. The Prime state and Awakened state are both stages that have nine ranks, that is the main reason that a lot of people are stuck in these two realms and the realms higher than the Prime state is not something you need to know now." Explained Izak.
Leon nodded and sighed, he really wanted to know what was higher than the Prime state, even though he didn't have a Vision.
"Ok Leon go rest and prepare yourself for tomorrow, it'll be a lot harder than today," said Izak as he turned and walked back to the Mansion, Leon followed behind him.
---------------------------
Leon spent the night on the rooftops of the Kaiser Mansion as he stared at the moon and the stars, this was Leons favourite past time since the day he started training, it calmed him down when he was surrounded by the serene atmosphere.
Leon felt like an ant in the eyes of Eden and the universe, he knew there were many planets that could have life in the universe all filled with different organisms. The Universe is incomprehensibly enormous and to think in the past hundred thousand years we have only explored our own solar system, yet we've never traversed outside of the Earth continent... Leon stared at the stars as he had a sense of familiarity with them.
One day...One day I'll be free from all these restrictions and then I'll be able to explore the world... that is my dream and to achieve it I have to get stronger. Leons dream was to be free, he wanted to explore, right now he was like a Lion trapped in a cage. Leon while gazing at the moon and the stars, he slowly fell asleep in the serene and tranquil atmosphere.
--------------------------
The next day the stalls outside the Coliseum was crowded with hundreds of people and the Coliseum was packed full with spectators eagerly waiting for the second round of the Path of Kings to start. The booths were filled with their respective parties including Izak and Elder James, all the participants had already arrived and they were waiting for the second round. Leon met Lumios once again in the rest area and they were casually chatting about the events of the day before, they found out that they weren't in the same group and neither was Kline or Ed.
Suddenly the referee announced, "Group 1, First Match Lumios Rakel Vs Darius Feuer from the Scorching Fire Tribe."
