《Legend Of Kaiser》Chapter 6: Origin Vision

"AAAAAAHHHH....huh...huu..huu" Leon woke up with a huge shriek, then gasped for air, his body was stiff with exhaustion, his forehead covered with sweat, his face pale, devoid of blood, his entire torso covered with bandages. Knitting his eyebrows: "What happened? Where am I this time?"
This is the second time he was unconscious in the past week and right now he was in a worse state than he was the previous occasion. Looking around Leon found a familiar scenery. In the room Leon was in, there was a large wardrobe ahead of him, ornaments with intricate designs all around; paintings were hung on the wall and there was a small vase on the table next to the bed containing multiple flowers just like before except they were replaced with yellow springs a flower that radiated a warm yellow light and blue ring roses that had a cool soothing effect, both plants had medicinal effects and were pleasurable to look at.
"Huh... I'm back in this room, eh?"
Something was out of place in this room , something Leon didn't recognise, a Jet black sword was placed on a chest of drawers, the likes of which he has never seen, it was dark, darker than black with a golden guard. A domineering, oppressive aura was being emitted by the sword, a faint golden inscription was on the sword.
"Azeon." The words left his lips without him realising.
As soon as the words left him a shiver ran down his spine, his heart trembling, all his hair stood on end and a deathly pressure pushed down on him for a mere moment and vanished at the same instance.
"What was that?" trembling, Leon was scared stiff, beads of cold sweat dropped down from his face onto the bandages.
"..Bang!... "
The door was shot open. A woman ran in wearing a long white dress with gold designs and a scarf covering her neck, her hair had fell to her back and had a silver lustre to it. She had a face that was similar to Leons, her eyes were a deep blue, she had a worry stricken face. This was Leons mother, Autumn.
"Leon what happened? I heard a shout from your room." staring at him lovingly, while her eyes were moist with worry.
"Mother..."
"Autumn, calm down.." A calm voice carried by a man with a clear smile on his face entered, wearing a black suit, it was Izak.
"Father!" Leon tried standing up, as soon as Izak entered the room.
"Lie down Leon.... Autumn leave the room for a moment I have some things to discuss with Leon, you can catch up with him after it's done." Izak spoke with a serious expression.
"Is it the issue we spoke of before?" Autumn asked with concern.
Izak didn't reply.
"Ok, I'll stay outside."
Autumn stood up and left the room , closing the door behind her as she left.
There was an awkward silence between Leon and Izak.
"How long was I out for?" Leon asked breaking the silence.
"Three days, you're lucky I got there at that moment or you wouldn't be here with us today." Izak replied.
An awkward silence drifted between them again, Izak stood next to the door stared at Leon, pondering for a few seconds, then spoke again: "Leon, you don't have to tell me why you ran away."

Leon looked down shamefully.
"Leon you're too weak, you couldn't protect yourself then and got caught by a Fire Wolf. You do understand that you were born without a Vision?"
Leon frowned, however he still nodded at this fact.
Izak looked at Leon sorrow stricken face: "Eden is an unbelievably huge planet and we haven't even explored the Earth Continent fully yet." said Izak while Leon listened attentively.
Leon loved to hear about the planet, it was his dream to be free to explore the world.
"Everyone here is born with the ability to absorb the natural energy of this world to form their own Vision, Leon you also know that when a Vision first materialises it is known as the Awakened state. Every human in this world holds a Vision however reaching the prime state is extremely difficult, only 10 in every 100 person would reach that stage." Izak explained.
"This is the natural evolution of the human body because of the natural energies influence. When a child is born they already have the ability to absorb the energy, so we can determine if they are able to gain a Vision... However Leon you are a rare exception you're body doesn't absorb the energy, it's not just that, you're body rejects most of the energy of this world. Because of this you have no Vision, looked down upon, considered weak and unworthy of status. Only the strong have the right to stand on top in this world."
These words were the horrifying truth, each word was like a small needle stabbing at his heart. He already knew all this, his father repeating it just made it worse.
"Nevertheless a Vision is not the only way a person can fight, there are many ways a person can become stronger, like using Special Weapons that are forged with strong and rare minerals, training under a Fighting style, Technology etc. Even though you can't absorb the energy, you can use techniques to use it as an external source of power increasing your physical strength. Although those with Visions will have a natural advantage over you when you fight. Even though it's like that, using these External techniques you'll have a foothold to stand on."
Izak walked towards the bed and stood besides Leon staring at him and smiling.
"Leon you have something that they don't have, a strong will and tenacity to become stronger, so from now onwards I'll train you and teach you so you can get stronger."
Leon stared at Izak, he was jolted by the joy he was feeling, he was exhilarated by this new piece of information. He thought to himself, I can finally become stronger, yes, yes, yes!!! The pain of being all alone, being looked down upon by everyone even by some of his family was unbearable, he could now have a chance to prove them all wrong .
Realisation dawned on him, "What happened to the girl?" Leon exclaimed.
"What girl?"
Leon hesitated for a moment thinking if he should speak of what happened, but still explained everything to Izak.
"I didn't see any girl, but what you did is impressive, at first I thought you provoked the Fire Wolf for no reason, however to think it was to protect someone, that takes courage." Izak said proudly

"Get ready Leon, you're first lesson will be in Two days time, until then you can rest, I'll be leaving now." Izak opened the door and left the room.
Autumn walked into the room a few seconds later with a tray of Leon's favourite food, a servant came in with her bringing a chair, which he placed next to him. Autumn sat down with the food next to him and told the servant to leave the room. She started feeding him since he was still injured and resting.
In the corridor in front of Leon's room, Izak stood there: I hope what Chaos said is true or I'll regret this. He thought back to what happened three days ago.
------------------------------------
The Fire Wolf turned tail and ran into the bushes. Chaos who was possessing Leon turned around staring at the bush that Izak was hiding in. Chaos lifted his hand and murmured something that Izak couldn't make out.
"Izak come out, I know you are here." Chaos said suddenly.
Izak was shocked. How'd he know I was hiding in this bush, I didn't move in the slightest or make noise. nonetheless he still walked out of the bushes and came into the grass plane, staring at his son, he was an 8 year old child but his eyes spoke a different story: of a being so ancient and powerful that he couldn't comprehend it, the boy was still his child his hair had changed colour and his aura was different.
"Izak don't worry... I am only here to give you an explanation and then I will take my leave... Oh don't worry about the Fire Wolf, he is stuck within my Time Realm and he doesn't even notice." Said Chaos, with a tone that showed that this was a mere game for him.
"Also after I leave this boy, he will be severely exhausted so I need you to be there to pick him up when I'm done."
All Izak could do was nod, he didn't know what was happening and who this was.
Chaos eyed him and then spoke: "Let me introduce myself, I am Chaos and that's all you need to know about me for now... Izak I want to ask you something: you're probably wondering why your son has no Vision? I have the answer, do you want to know?" His lips arced as he spoke.
Izak was shocked, he always wondered why his son had no Vision and why Leon's body was rejecting the Natural energy. "Yes!!" Jolted back into reality he spoke with haste.
Chaos smirked as he already knew what the response would be " Your son is different, unique and a very special being. His body rejects the Natural energy of Eden because his Vision is too powerful and not something that can be manifested by a weak source energy or it would be too weak. He is loved by the energy, the elements of the world, however his body is too majestic and arrogant; rejecting the weak, average elemental energy . Only Dark Energy and the Ethereal Energy of Time is accepted and would suffice his body, everything else is rejected. I've demonstrated Leon's ability today; darkness and time, a power so frightening that you can't comprehend it's depth at your level... a Dual Origin Vision. A gift from heaven, given to mankind." Chaos said arrogantly.
"The manifestation of his Vision is nearing its completion, within a few years he'll awaken, releasing an insurmountable amount of energy. Prepare him for it or he'll be burdened by his own power in the future."
"O..Ori...Origin Vision, he has an Origin ability? This..This," Izak expressed his bewilderment not being able to believe what he heard. The amount of People in the Earth Continent with an Origin Vision was unknown, nevertheless those with an Origin Vision in the Sarien Empire was less than a handful of people which shows how rare they are, however a Dual Origin Vision was unheard of.
"My time is limited, just before I go I will leave this for the boy." Chaos revealed the sword to Izak "you must come, take this sword and give it to the boy... It's name is Azeon, the Divine Sword of the Fallen Emperor. " The name of the Sword sent a chill down Izak's spine.
"As for the origin of the sword, it is not for you to know." Chaos said with extreme care. Izak saw Chaos stare at the sword, his carefree attitude was gone and for a split second Izak saw a killing intent so deep that it would drive those nearby insane, but it disappeared just as fast as it appeared. Was that a dream... It was probably just my imagination...Let's just forget about it, Izak thought as he shivered slightly.
"Do not forget to give Azeon to the boy and do prepare him before his manifestation takes place or his body won't be able to handle the power..." Chaos spoke calmly while looking at Izak.
"Yes... I'll prepare him, but what should I tell the boy..." Izak asked anxiously as he couldn't make a story up without Chaos's permission or there would be a possibility of enraging him.
Izak even though he was a Grand Prime he couldn't sense even a fragment of the power from the small body in front of him, he could only sense an undeniably powerful pressure from the boy.
"Tell the boy nothing of my existence, he will find out when the time comes, tell him that you saved him... but you may tell him the existence of the sword.... You'll find this boy and his body, Ten Miles up North... I will now take my leave." said Chaos, he then turned around walked a few meters and then a dark Mist appeared as if it was a doorway and he walked through it... And he was gone.
Izak stood there dumbfounded and Exhilarated at the fact that Leon was born with an Origin Vision, a Dual Origin Vision. I should take my leave now and find Leon. Izak left abruptly leaving a heavy breeze behind as he travelled towards Leon's location.
--------------------------------------
Izak stood in the corridor of the mansion, "The time is nearing, I hope Leon will become strong enough to drag our clan back into the biggest stage on this continent.." his face suddenly distorted into an expression of pure hatred and resentment." One day we'll return... We'll get our revenge... be prepared... ASURA CLAN."

Keeper
When I first woke up I knew only three things: My name is Reiza, I have a seed I need to care for, and a song. I was told that the forest I woke up in was mine and that I needed to take control of it and protect it. The only things standing in my way are nature itself, a bunch of strange floating boxes, and a group of crazy powerful creatures known as the forest queens. Sounds pretty simple right? It might be if it weren't for the fact that I have absolutely zero memory, but hey at least I know my name. Also apparently my enemies aren't only inside the forest. Forces from the outside got news that somthing was going down in my new home and are coming to crash my party. Can I claim this forest? Can I protect it? And most importantly can I figure out who I am and what's going on? I'm not sure but I'm going to try. Hey everyone I'm fairly new to writing novles and this is my first time ever putting my work on a site like this one. I hope you enjoy the story and would appreciate your feedback. I would ask that you read through at least a couple of chapters before leaving a rating. I know I have some trouble with grammer and how I structure some of my sentences and while feedback on that is appreciated what I would value most is feedback on the story as a whole in terms of how the plot works and if you are enjoying it or not. Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.
