《Legend Of Kaiser》Chapter 5: Chaos

“Kid, Do you want my help?” An ominous and archaic voice echoed in Leon's mind.
"Yes..." Before Leon could even finish what he was saying he blacked out and lost consciousness.
Time slowly started moving again
Just as the Fire Wolf attacked, Izak arrived at the scene, his usually calm face was now in horror, all he could do was watch his only son being killed by the Fire Wolf.
"Boom!" The Fireball shot at Leon slammed into him, causing huge ripples of energy to spread through the surrounding, causing a huge explosion that destroyed everything, ash and dust floated in the air covering Leon's figure.
Why was I too slow? I should’ve arrived sooner, these were Izak’s thoughts, an unbearable pain was striking his heart, it was excruciating, he was choking as he breathed in. Tears rolled down his cheeks, his only son was killed, all he could do was curse himself as he watched the dust cover his soon to be revealed sons corpse, and mourn his death.
The cloud of dust started to slowly clear, Izak was still in pain not caring about anything that was occurring in this despicable world, that attack was at the level of an abysmal beast even Izak himself would have problems to defend against it. As the dust cleared up a figure could be seen, Izak couldn’t believe what he was seeing, he was dumbfounded, filled with joy at this prospect.
Leon was standing on the exact same position as he previously was in, the entire area in front of Leon was destroyed, there was a path of devastation from the attack, all you could see was the earth and charred soil. However behind Leon all the greenery, flowers, trees and wood life were spared, protected by Leon.
Leon looked different he had a different air about him, his body was sending visible ripples of energy into the air causing the nearby birds to flee in terror. He had a dark aura surrounding him, similar to the fiery aura of the Fire Wolf, however he was emanating a sinister dark aura, a foreboding sensation. The black aura was far more powerful when compared to the Fire Wolf's aura.
Leon’s appearance was changing in front of Izak's very eyes, his lustrous silver hair was receding leaving Jet black hair in its place, an ominous smile crept onto Leon's face, his clothes were torn from the previous exchange and his brown eyes had changed, one of his eyes was brown while the other was purple. Leon's eyes hid ancient, cold mysteries within it, not the previous childish, joyful impression, now his eyes could pierce through anything as if it could search your soul and make you limp just by making eye contact. Leon's strange appearance intimidated Izak even though he was hidden in the bushes.
Staring at the Fire Wolf, a cold, arrogant yet archaic voice escaped Leon “Fire Wolf, I know you can understand me and can speak human, I’ll tell you this now: hurting my retainer is a grave sin, so I'm going to kill you now, you mutt.”
The Fire Wolf was astonished, its attack would usually be able to annihilate a small mountain. How did this boy survive? he nearly died moments ago... How does this child know I can speak.

However the Fire Wolf quickly regained focus.
“Foolish child, you dared to enter my territory and even allowed my prey to escape… You're just seeking death,” The Fire Wolf spoke haughtily with a low growl.
The Fire Wolfs fur started to stand on end, immediately readying itself into a stance where it dug its paws into the ground once again preparing for another attack.
“HAHAHA, you think your measly power is going to harm me,” Leon laughed haughtily.
The Fire Wolf stored energy and released six consecutive beams of fire that flew at Leon…. tearing through the clear grass plane, Leon stood there not moving an inch, his eyes were staring straight at the raw power of the beam, even in this hopeless situation, a glint in his eyes portrayed confidence and superiority towards the Fire Wolf.
Leon lifted his left hand pointed at the air and then three black orbs appeared in mid air surrounded by a white light similar to an eclipse, the orbs distorted the surroundings as if it was trying to absorb everything, at the same time a black long sword, four foot long materialised onto his right hand sending throbbing ripples into the atmosphere, it had a jet black hilt including a gold guard, a jet black double edged blade with faint gold inscriptions could be seen. The sword couldn’t directly be focused at, it easily tricks the mind appearing formless like fire, also emanating a black aura with a faint gold light surrounding the black aura.
Each orb floated in front of a Fire beam. The Fire beams tore through the empty grassland, when it came into contact with the black orbs, it entered and vanished, the black orbs had an awe striking absorption ability. Nevertheless three beams had escaped the grasps of the black orbs, Leon brandishing his black sword, he swiped the air with the edge of the blade sending a visible black energy wave slashing at the three remaining fire beams that flew at Leon like arrows, the energy wave split the three fire beams into six, blowing it up on the spot releasing a visible shockwave and dust into the air.
Suddenly…. the Fire Wolf appeared right behind Leon, it travelled a hundred meters in that instance and its right claw arced down against Leon’s back…. Nothing happened, the Fire Wolf couldn't move, its claws was stuck in the arcing motion.
There was no action. Nothing moved, sound nor breeze existed in the space between the Fire Wolf and Leon. Izak was stunned, he was outside the space of the area and saw everything that happened from the black orbs and sword, to the Fire Wolf stuck in motion.
Who is this? What’s happening? Why is nothing moving? Leon doesn’t have a Vision and why did his hair turn black? That sword…! these questions and thoughts were running through Izak’s mind, he was in awe at the same time.
Simultaneously the Fire Wolfs mind was in a state of dread, it couldn’t move, time stopped only it’s conscience was aware of what was occurring. From Leon’s back the Fire Wolf saw Leon’s lips curving, enjoying the moment, energy ripples were being sent by the sword to the surroundings continuously distorting space. The Fire Wolfs mind was in the depths of fear, never had it felt so powerless, it could only relate this fear to the Forests king. He was in the hands of Leon and couldn’t move a single inch.

What kind of Vision is this? moments ago this kid was about to die, but now the situation has swapped around, my life is in his hands now. The Fire Wolf was frightened, this ability deserved fear.
The Fire Wolf suddenly noticed he was able to move again. In an instant it moved a hundred meters away from Leon.
“HAHAHA!!….. Mutt, were you so fear stricken that you didn’t even notice your own wound? Leon was humoured by this event, he was casually playing around with the Fire Wolfs life.
“Huh?”
The Fire Wolf looked down at where it’s right paw was… there was nothing except blood streaming down onto the grass dyeing it red. It was petrified. Astonished. The Fire Wolf had lost the sensation of pain, pain was the sensation that allowed him to feel alive, give him the sense that he could live.
However its mind was blank. “A…aaa…aa,” the Fire wolf lost its will to speak.
“AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!” A large roar was emitted straight after, shaking even Izak who was hidden far away. This pain wasn’t physical, the Fire Wolfs conscious was being torn apart in excruciating… agonising, psychological pain, Its paw wasn’t there, except it was replaced by a flat surface and it was covered by a flood of blood.
…..a….a…hu…What’s with this kid, he’s too strong….. I have to run away. After the Fire Wolfs crazed roar it had regained some sense, but it was exhausted, the pain was both physical and mental.
The Fire Wolf turned tail to run into the forest, but it noticed it couldn’t move in the slightest.
“mmh…”Leon Frowned.
“You want to run away? *sigh* You’re probably wondering why you can’t move? I’ll tell you why: I’ve paused time so your body won’t move but your mind is still functioning and understands it surroundings…" Leon said with a cold smile.
"mmh, guess my power isn’t strong enough," he muttered to himself. "And the black orb is a creation of my darkness ability.” Leon was smiling indifferently as he said this.
The Fire Wolf didn't understand what Leon was saying, but it still felt fearful of Leon. “Who are you?”
“mmh..” Leon Sighed.
“I guess the world forgot about me” mumbling to himself and then spoke, “Cubs like you don’t know who I am? Just call me Chaos.” A calm laugh escaped him.
Izak at this moment was thunderstruck, “Chaos….”
Izak knew his son was born without a vision, yet right now Leon was actually using a Vision, not just one but 2 Visions. A Fusion Vision. What was more amazing, astounding in fact, was that he had both Time and Darkness. Even though it was like this Izak has never heard of someone called Chaos and this person was in Leon’s body.
“Fire Wolf, I’ll give you 10 seconds to run away, after that your demise is certain,” Chaos’s personality was like a storm changing constantly, he was like a child who had found a new plaything.
10…
The Fire Wolf able to move again, it turned tail and ran into the bushes, expecting to lose this new enemy.

In 4 seconds it had already travelled 3 mile into the jungles. “10 seconds is enough for me to get away from this child,” the Fire Wolf was certain that it could escape, its confidence was increasing by the moment, despite that it was exhausted, otherwise it would have moved a lot faster.

The Fire Wolf had already travelled 10 miles into the forest, mind you the forest had a radius of 15000 miles.
when it came into another grassy plane….. Chaos was standing there in the middle two hundred meters ahead of the Fire Wolf, smiling…. It seemed innocent, but the Fire Wolf’s mind was in dismay. Ten seconds was a huge head start for a Prime and Fire Wolfs were one of the fastest types, yet Chaos travelled so much faster, traversing ten miles in less than a second.
Without saying anything Chaos disappeared leaving a dark mist and appeared in front of the Fire Wolf.
Chaos waved his black blade and severed the Fire Wolfs head of its shoulders, the Fire Wolfs eyes were wide open in shock and terror as it crashed onto the floor; blood sprayed out of its neck like a fountain, yet not a drop touched Leon or his Sword, but dyed the grass red, the body dropped dead on the floor.
Chaos walked away from the limp body into the middle of the plane, staring at the Tree of Life: “Guess my works done”… he swayed for a moment and dropped onto the grass, the blade clattered onto the grass bed that was rocking back and forth.
“Rustle….Rustle.”
Moments later a black blur appeared standing next to Leon’s body, picked up his body and carried the sword and departed into the wilderness.
———————————
A minute before in the centre o the Forest:
A Beast was Slumbering on the roots of the Tree of Life, right next to it there was a cub, which was also in a state of slumber. The beasts body, constantly released waves of energy preventing any beasts or humans from entering its domain.
The Beast was the Tree of Life's guardian, A Lion, renowned as the king of beasts throughout the world, no being would dare stand in its way. It was gold in colour, it’s mane was a darker shade of gold, with white feather like Wings springing from its shoulder blades, This was the rumoured legendary majestic demon beast king of the forest.
At the same time throbbing energy ripple moved through the forest, birds could be seen fleeing, the energy ripple made its way to the centre of the forest towards the Slumbering lion, his closed eyes opened momentarily, in that moment releasing a terrifying aura, causing the fleeing birds to drop down from the sky, as they laid dead on the floor.
The Lion looked at the cub for a moment, the cub looked up at the Majestic Lion and then vanished from the spot it laid, it seemed as if information was transmitted mentally to it.
The Lion stared vaguely into the distance and then returned back to its slumber.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
