So, with that out of the way. Onto the chapter!!

It’s the month of the mission, and we’re in the middle of the monster taming process… and my mission is…

MISSION:

Survive: Your awakened ability is taken away from you for 24 hours. And your other abilities are weakened.

REWARDS: ???

“Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck!” (Vincent)

I shouted, causing my allies to be alarmed.

“What’s wrong master?” (Alucard)

One of the former-slaves, a vampire, and tamer, named Alucard asked.

“I-I don’t have my awakened ability for… 24 hours… fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” (Vincent)

I panicked.

“It’s alright sir, it’s just your awakened ability, right?” (Alucard)

Alucard asked.

“Y-yeah… wait, that means my other abilities are still there!” (Vincent)

I shouted.

“Exactly! So, we can still tame the monsters out there without too much trouble” (Alucard)

Alucard said.

[“Yeah, Vincent. Don’t panic”] (Warren)

Warren said as he appeared out of nowhere.

“Gah! Warren! Stop phasing through walls!” (Vincent)

I shouted.

Oh, that’s right, Warren has a new ability called “Phase” it allows him to go through anything.

[“Sorry Vincent, but it’s so fun! Ha ha!”] (Warren)

Warren laughed while smiling.

“So, sir. Let’s get back to taming” (Alucard)

Alucard said with a grin.

“Right… I forgot to mention, my abilities are going to be weakened too...” (Vincent)

I said.

“O-oh, well… it can’t be too bad, right Warren?” (Alucard)

Alucard asked.

[“Y-yeah, it can’t be too bad”] (Warren)

Warren said hesitantly.

“You’re right… It can’t be that bad” (Vincent)

I said with a smile.

We spent around… five hours taming monsters and turning the stronger ones into shadow-slaves. These are the ones we tamed:

“So, let’s go back to camp” (Vincent)

I said as we headed back to camp.

“Welcome back, m’lord” (Dark elf)

A dark elf greeted me, alongside several other slaves.

“Where are you guys going?” (Vincent)

I asked.

“Oh, m’lord. We’re going to be hunting… we’re bringing a few of the younglings along, is that alright with you?” (Dark elf)

The dark elf asked.

“Sure, but… take Vaughn with you. He’s talented… if he’d stop being so obsessed with guns… please, teach him how to fight with a sword… he’s a prodigy” (Vincent)

I said with a smile.

The dark elf simply nodded and told the dwarf next to him to grab Vaughn and the other young ones.

“We’ll be off in a moment, m’lord” (Dark elf)

The dark elf said with a grin.

“Okay… just, make sure to protect the children… if even one of them doesn’t come back… I. Will. Know… and the consequences won’t be… pretty” (Vincent)

I said in as much of an intimidating tone as I physically could… which was actually pretty intimidating.

“Y-yes, m’lord!” (Dark elf)

The dark elf said as he and his allies, along with the children went off into the woods.

I think I heard Vaughn say “Bye lord Vincent!” But, that was probably my imagination.

…

I began to think about the earth, and how much I miss it. And I thought something…

‘Why don’t I just go back to earth… I could leave Grenov here to train the others… but, I can’t wish myself there… I could teleport… but, I feel like I could only take four people with me… without limitations to the distance… and I already know that I’m taking Warren… but, who else am I going to take?’ (Thoughts)

I thought, as I walked up to Grenov and told him all about my plan. At first, he was hesitant and asked me to stay. Until I came up with an on the spot excuse of wanting to conquer earth, then he complied. Saying:

“Well, if the Lord wants to conquer something… why get in his way… we could use the reinforcements here… and, with the superior technology, we could easily take over Harus as well… go on then, my lord. Choose who to take with you, and I’ll make the announcement” (Grenov)

He said cheerfully.

‘Now… who should I choose to take… I already know that Warren’s coming, his ability could be extremely useful… now, who else do I choose?’ (Thoughts)
