《Unlimited Wishes. (Re-write)》Chapter 7: Dragon, New power and... God!?

“ROOOOAR!!!” (???)
We looked up… to see a silver… dragon!!!
“MASON, SHOOT IT!!!” (Vincent)
‘It must’ve been attracted by the sound of gunfire!’ (Thoughts)
“YES MY KING!!!” (Mason)
Mason shouted as he shot at the silver dragon… but it did next to nothing!!!
“Ren, Alex. With me!!! Ratel and Mason, stay behind to guard the high elves, don’t let anyone die! Got it!!!” (Vincent)
I shouted, grabbing Alex and Ren by the hand and running towards the forest.
“M’lord, where are we going?” (Ren)
“Sir… are we leaving them!?” (Alex)
They both asked at the same time.
“No… oh god I hope this works… I wish for the power to tame monsters!” (Vincent)
As I said that, the bright light, hit me… causing me to scream from pain.
“AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!” (Vincent)
…
…
…
The sound attracted a few horned wolves, a werebear, and a squidman!
“Tame!” (Vincent)
I said, looking at the weird creatures in front of me.
Then I got a few messages saying:
Tame successful: You have tamed (7) Rank: D, horned wolves.
Tame successful: You have tamed (1) Rank: B, werebear.
Tame successful: You have tamed (1) Rank: C, squidman.
Right as the messages appeared, the nine monsters bowed towards me.
“Okay… good, it worked… hopefully, this works too… my followers, I want you to help the high elves in the battle against the silver dragon! Do not worry, for I shall bring more allies when I come back… now go!” (Vincent)
I shouted, proudly.
Then, the nine tamed monsters ran towards Yggdrasil.
Good… now, to tame some more creatures.
--------
It took a few minutes but I tamed:
700: Horned wolves.
384: Werebears.
1389: Squidmen
23874: Horned rabbits.
234: Scorpios
And, 1: Spider queen, along with all of her gigantic spiders!
…
…
…
I will admit, I used my wishes to make them go towards my direction, but who can blame me!?... back to the book…
“Let us return, to the battle!” (Vincent)
I shouted, obviously thirsty for blood!
“Yes, sir!” (Alex)
“Let us return. M’lord!” (Ren)
Alex and Ren said as they ran behind me.
…
…
…
It took us ten minutes to get there… I will admit, we got lost!
“THERE YOU ARE!!! Thanks for the help! They made great meatshields, now get your arses over here and help us kill the silver dragon!” (Grenov)

Grenov shouted towards us, and we ran to him.
“So, what should we do?!” (Alex)
Alex asked, using his healing flames on the wounded high elves.
“I don’t know, just attack it!” (Ren)
Ren shouted, using her Spear of BOOM BOOM on the dragon, and luckily it worked!
“Wait… didn’t I have something… RIGHT! Sir, I have something!!!” (Alex)
Alex suddenly shouted.
“What is it!? Alex, what do you have?” (Vincent)
Vincent asked, almost completely happy that Alex had something.
“The ball of sealing, let’s use it!” (Alex)
As he said that, Vincent remembered the ball of sealing.
“Quick! Use it!!!” (Vincent)
Vincent yelled as Alex used the ball of sealing…
…
…
…
HE MISSED!!!
Alex missed! We’re so fucked…
“Sir, I’m so sorry!!!” (Alex)
Alex said, tearing up slightly.
“It’s… alright, you tried your best… but you didn’t succeed, it’s not your fault Alex… it’s mine…” (Vincent)
I said, sorrow evident in my voice.
“Sir… how is it your fault?” (Alex)
Alex asked, tears still in his eyes.
“I made you… it’s my fault that you, Ren, Ratel, Mason, and I… are going to die… it’s all my fault…” (Vincent)
I slouched against the wall, crying.
“It seems like, Vincent has given up hope!, We mustn’t give up! We should prevail, let us kill this beast and restore hope to our allies!” (Grenov)
Grenov shouted, using his double-barrel shotguns to shoot the dragon… dealing sufficient damage.
“KILL THE BEAST!!!” (High Elves)
“ROOOAR!!!” (Tamed beasts)
The remaining uninjured High elves and Tamed beasts, attacked the dragon with impeccable cooperation.
“Look out!” (High Elf)
One of the high elves shouted, kicking a werebear out of the way of the dragons flame breath, but the high elf was burned in return.
“Rooar!” (Horned wolf)
Some of the Horned wolves were being used as mounts by the elves, along with the giant spiders.
The other spiders were shooting their webs at the trees, making a bridge close enough to the dragon, so the elves and tamed beasts could slash and scratch at it.
“I… I can’t give up… I won’t give up!!! TELEPORT!!!” (Vincent)
I shouted, teleporting into the dragon’s heart.
“I know what to do!” (Vincent)
I said, pulling Excalibur and Durandal out of my inventory and…
I stabbed the dragon in the heart.

“ROOOOAR!!!” (Dragon)
…
Looks like, I’m going down with the ship…
“Goodbye…” (Vincent)
I said to myself…
…
…
Where am I?
Why is everything white?!
Am… am I dead?
“You’re not dead man… you’re back here, I saved you…” (???)
I heard a familiar voice behind me, so I turned around to see… god playing some games on a console.
“Oh, hey god… what’s up?” (Vincent)
I said, sitting on the beanbag next to him.
“Well, playing a game and saving your life from… holy shit!? A dragon, dude that’s awesome! You stabbed a dragon in the heart and wanted to “go down with the ship”, hahaha… dude, that rocks!” (God)
God said, laughing his arse off.
“So… why’d you save me?” (Vincent)
I asked God.
“Well, I owed you one, you gave me a clone of Durandal… and I don’t like owing anyone anything, so I saved you… simple as that” (God)
God said, grinning.
“Oh… cool… what game are you playing?” (Vincent)
I asked, noticing God was playing as a white-haired adventurer… and he was in a dungeon fighting monsters.
“Oh, this is World Gate Online, it’s a pretty cool game from your world! Lucas is an amazing protagonist… and everyone else is kinda cool… the Jester’s the best though, he’s fucking hilarious… and reminds myself of me when I get angry!” (God)
Okay, don’t piss off god… good to know.
“Okay… cool, so… should I go?” (Vincent)
I asked, awkwardly.
“Oh, right… sorry” (God)
God said, and made me appear… right in front of Ren, Alex, Ratel, Mason, and Grenov.
“Hey, guys!” (Vincent)
I said… now noticing I was… standing in dragon guts!
“Aw… ew!” (Vincent)
I slowly stepped out of the guts and said:
“I HAVE DEFEATED THE DRAGON!!!!!!!!” (Vincent)
With my shout, hundreds of elves shouted alongside me.
…
I then got a message saying:
Congratulations: You have beaten the S ranked Silver dragon, as a reward you have ranked up!!!
You are now rank C.
‘Awesome, I should check my status! I haven’t checked it in ages!’ (Thoughts)
As I thought that, I said:

And my status showed up, saying:

He said, smugly.
‘Smug son of a bitch! I’m gonna become an SS-ranker and show him what’s up!’ (Thoughts)
I said, in my heart.
“Thanks… haha” (Vincent)
I said, clenching my fist tightly.
“Okay then… I must say, thank you for defeating the SS-ranked silver dragon, without you, we’d be… dead” (Grenov)
Grenov suddenly said, bowing.
…
…
…
Why is he bowing!!??
“Why are you bowing?” (Vincent)
I asked, genuinely curious.
“You have saved Yggdrasil… you saved all of the high elves, I am forever in your debt Vincent” (Grenov)
Grenov said, in a polite tone.
“...Okaaaay, how about you don’t be in my debt… I wouldn’t want you doing anything drastic, like… risking your life for me” (Vincent)
I said, shaking my hands in the air.
“That wouldn’t be the elven way, my friend… no, my lord… we are in your debt, if you ever need us, just call… we’ll be at your aid, immediately, no matter the world” (Grenov)
Grenov said as he handed me a… block of wood.
“If you are in danger, burn the wood and we shall charge into battle!!! Brothers in arms!” (Grenov)
He said, passionately.
“...Thank you, Grenov…” (Vincent)
I said, happily.
“You are welcome, my lord” (Grenov)
He said as he walked off to the other high elves.
…
“So… I have an army of high elves at my disposal… that… is extremely useful!” (Vincent)
I said to myself, as I walked into Yggdrasil and… fell asleep.

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?
