《Let's Form a Party to Kill God》Guilds

Kynos pushed open the double doors to the guild hall and for his efforts, was greeted with a fantastic view.
The guild was built into the base of the council's tower, a structure that stood impossibly tall in the exact middle of the college campus. Security booths stood in a front enclosure, verifying that only mages and people with permission may enter.
Passing the checkpoint, a marble tiled floor spread out into a grand chamber, large enough to fit a small castle inside, with a grand spiraling staircase leading to the tower proper in the back. Various people bustled about inside, with desks and counters forming a large semi-circle around the periphery.
Kynos showed his ID and was ushered right in. It took him very little time to learn that this was the location where all of the bureaucratic work for Incanta was undertaken. It also functioned as the mage's guild headquarters, a central relay point for all of the guild branches across the continents. There were no branches in western Alva, and only a single embassy in the Imperium.
Kynos was able to buy a city map at a service desk for mages, which showed the multi-ringed structure of Incanta and where each district was. The council tower is at the dead center, surrounded by the college campus and various magic schools, fenced in the with inner wall. It was followed by a small ring comprised of private residences occupied by higher ranked mages and the wealthy. The second ring from the center included the main market district and all of the guilds and their various services, along with a slew of workshops. The third ring was a large, mostly residential district, and the main floating walls and defenses were outside of that. There weren't many plots of farmland outside of the main wall, as Incanta heavily imported food and other basic goods.

In addition, Kynos was given the instruction to obtain a sum of money from the bank in the second ring, being told that Mithandra had left him the message. It seemed that she had anticipated the need money to procure equipment and supplies.
He paid a fee to board the large carriage that ran between the mage's guild and the market ring.
Two hours later, Kynos had doubled his fortune, having received a rather large sum from Mith, and promptly spend much of it to secure dried food supplies and a tool which used crystals to condense water from the air, along with backpacks and various utensils. He now found himself in the adventurer's guild, which handled dangerous requests of various kinds.
The atmosphere was much different than the mage's guild, which had a strict entrance policy. The entrance was near the request board and the service counter, while tables a chairs were strewn haphazardly across the left side of the room. A large circular bar dominated the left wall, surrounded by adventurers ordering copious amounts of alcohol and food. At the tables, brawny fighters slammed down mugs of frothy beer and shadowy figures lurked in every noticeable corner. A good many mages were scattered around here and there as well, drinking with their comrades in arms.
Kynos scanned the notice board and took a request to subjugate goblins from it. The creatures bred like cockroaches and were about as annoying, constantly stealing from any farm, ranch, or traveler they could find. They were generally organized into small groups, but could form dangerous swarms if left alone for too long.
The buxom woman at the counter bemusedly eyed him as he trotted up to register the request.
“Honey, ain't you a bit too young for this? Come back in five, six years.”

Kynos was taken aback. The glasses lady at the mage's guild was prim and proper, and downright respectful after she saw his ID. He decided to hand it over to this woman as well.
“Well! Ain't that a surprise!,” she exclaimed, turning to call out into the drunken room. “Gentlemen! This young child is a fully certified A-class mage!”
The drunken, festive atmosphere dissipated instantly as the adventurers turned to assess him, eyes cold and professional with the experience of many years of combat and survival.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.

My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!

Give Light to Dark Thoughts
When the heart bleeds and nothing can heal it, the only thing left to do is write. Thoughts are volatile, sometimes they are cruel and other times are kind, nevertheless both are needed. If the pain didn't exist no one would know what happiness feels like. This book of poems is the moments when just for a second dark is all that it is, so why not share and give it light, hopefully someone will feel identify with at least one poem. Not all the poem will be in a negative connotation, and the images I put will be from Pinterest.
