《Let's Form a Party to Kill God》Escape

Kynos imagined a small disc from the darkness between his eye and the blindfold. He then made the side facing away from his eye slowly protrude outwards as a thin bar, smoothly cutting the blindfold in half.
It fell away from his eyes, and he saw the closet-sized dark room he was it. There was a single wooden door, and checking next to him revealed Mith, curled up on his right and blindfolded, and Axal, in similar condition, but still knocked out. He cut the rope binding his hands behind his back with the same magic, and by making a thin shadow blade on his finger, cut Mith's bindings as well.
“What's next?” He asked her, as he freed Axal.
“Well, don't wake him up, I don't want any more noise than necessary. We need to check out where we are and figure out a way to get back.”
Mithandra then tried to explain to him how to make a spinning drill head with his shadow, which made no noise, to peek out the other side of the door, but the image was too complicated for Kynos and there was no paper to draw it for him. She settled with peaking past the seam where two crude door hinges were attached.
Kynos took a peak himself after Mith was done, and saw that they were locked in the back of a room with all sorts of crates, sacks, and barrels. “It must be the hold,” Mith whispered, “let's get this lock out of the way.”
There was a large padlock on the other side of the door, holding it closed. Kynos had no idea how to open it, but Mith was the girl with the plan.
“Listen, try using your shadow blade to cut the metal.” The shadow blade broke through the wooden door easily, but it only left a small mark on the thinnest part of the padlock.

“Fine, use that shadow blade and punch a hole behind the lock big enough for my hand and arm to go through,” Mith said as she pulled out a smaller silver cylinder from somewhere. Kynos had been robbed of all his possessions but the clothes on his back. He wondered how Mith managed to keep such an expensive-looking thing hidden even though she was unconscious.
Reading his mind as she stuck her hand holding the cylinder through the hole, Mith said, “ladies have secrets, I'm going to need you to use your shadow and hold and move the lock after I open it.”
Mith pressed the back of the cylinder, and it molded into the lock like a key. She turned it with some difficulty, and Kynos lifted and moved the lock off of the door as soon as Mith withdrew her hand.
Axal was stirring, so Kynos let Mith to deal with him as he carefully opened the door to look around. The hold was crowded, with the only light coming from an open hatch at the other end. There was a narrow path leading away from the closet prison, and Kynos could tell that it wasn't nearly the size of the ship he had been on before.
Mithandra emerged from the small prison with a shaking Axal in tow. She was appreciating the fact that at least one person was scared, but for Kynos, it was time for revenge.
