《Eskion -god of all》Another world

Leila sat in a chair, not just any chair. it had been a gift, specially customized by her council of lesser gods and dities, it was a throne. From where she sat she could see the entire council spread out before her, her world was suffering. Dying. And though she couldn't explain it, she saw it happen. It had been scourged by a mysterious sickness, the … Turning her creations mad with anger and fury at… well nothing. Depravity she had chosen to call it because it contorted a persons soul turning them dark from the inside out. And then there was the god down on lesk, Ara- something; she pouted. And to make things worse somehow she was trapped in her own head after some spell or something she had been under. She was an informant, everything she heard, thought, said… Everything she knew, the older god knew.
"I still propose the notion to end the world or… Just watch them destroy themselves" katar grinned
"It is the best solution" gyldreon added
"No one asked you" Avalon rolled her eyes
"Did i just travel miles to listen to your childish bickering?" Norixuis arches an eyebrow
"I wonder" Xulgos said
"With the infection spreading fast, not only are our creations falling into depravity, their energy, essence, soul, qi; whatever you would call it is being redirected, just yesterday i lost a few souls" ilrune pouted
"Don't look at me, honestly i've been missing a few souls" Katar shrugged as all eyes turned to him
"Well someone must be responsible for this" Halbar scowled, unusually serious
"There IS a god on lesk, is there not?" Larak raised his brow
"I don't think she would do such a thing" Variel furrowed his brows
"Why do you think so?" leila leaned forward
"It is a horrible thing to steal souls. A goddess couldn't have anything to do with it" Ilrune spoke
"Why? cause it's scandalous?" Halbar grinned
"And here i thought you were being serious for once" Avalon hissed
"I received some information from the astra bodies…" The first archangel spoke and they all turned to him after all he was an important entity. In stature he was far more flawless than any of the deities could hope to be and much more older for he had been there at the beginning.
"They found a contortion down on lesk, a rift connecting another world with ours and another god" Milan said, he had been reconstructed quite some time ago.

"Another god?" ilrune gasped
"kinda comes with the other world" Halbar shrugged
"Impossible. we would have felt it" Norixuis grit his teeth
"Do you doubt me?" Milan asked sharply, his crimson eyes resting on the deity of fire
"I…I apologize" Norixuis said cautiously
The council room fell silent, if anything he had faced off against a god, which was an indisputable achievement even though he had been turned to dust. He had tried to protect his goddess which counted for something considering it WAS an elder god.
"This world you speak of, how was it discovered and is its god any threat to us?" Gyldreon broke the silence. He had little care for the archangel
"It seems you misunderstand me. The other god is no creator but a drifter" Milan corrected
"A drifter? Here?" Leila breathed
Another uncomfortable hush had fell upon the council, another god was bad news. Much less a drifter who was practically unbridled power and no responsiblities.
"… can he be tracked?" Larak broke the silence this time
"Unfortunately no… It was a spike in his essence that enabled us to discover him"
"HIm?" Leila raised her eyebrows
"I apologize goddess. I assumed"Milan bowed slightly
"Its umm its okay" she waved it off
"Between the virus, this mysterious god, the other god and the supposed hellspawn, we have only one option" Xulgos said
"And that is?" karak eyed the deity of knowledge
"We let this elder god take care of the hellspawn and approach the other one, perhaps he has some information about this plague" Xulgos responded
"And if he's not friendly?" Avalon asked
"We teach him what it means to be a guest on foreign territory" Gyldreon grinned widely and leila had to remind herself she was sitting across a deity of war, He had an impossibly disarming smile.
"I wonder how does a god die" Karak licked his chapped lips
"There's still the issue of the rift" Ilrune reminded the council
"A pesky problem" Milan scowled
"Milan. Send a messenger to this god, i think i'd be interested in meeting them" leila leaned back in her throne
"Is that wise?" larak spoke calmly
"hm?"
"You don't want to look too eager" he said and half the council nodded and leila smiled
"But i am eager" she said

On the other side of the rift another godling sat in his study, a spyglass to his eye, he leaned forward over the strange soul that seemed to contort as he studied it, he grabbed a quill and shoved it into the black substance, immediately it surged forward and almost covered the feathers of the quill then pulled back immediately, he pulled back the quill and stared at it, it seemed normal. Too normal if you asked him, he pouted and tossed it away, it disintegrated before it reached the ground, he hated dirt.

He grabbed a book from a shelve and flipped through its pages, the ancient tome of forgotten wisdom and yet it held nothing he wanted, how had he gotten it again? oh yeah he stole it. He had spent the last millennia gathering knowledge from the places in the void he could reach often stealing them from other gods and godlings but it didn't bother him much after all knowledge came at a cost, even if it wasn't him who paid in the end.
And that was the kind of person Sylia was, he was a godling that sometimes was dubious but was overall a good guy. He was a creator, after all he had created his ideal world, a vast world which landscape covered with plants, a huge castle that stood magnificent, a beauty amongst beauties, his world held most things he needed, herbs for his experiments, leaves and plants he had created and those he had stolen, and seas and oceans. But his creation lacked one thing. life. Well... Plantlife was abundant, yes; but if you took a stroll around the world, searched every nook and cranny you found there were no animals, a huge flaw by any standards and yet Sylia preffered it that way. And of course there was no intelligent life form save for his angels, he hated the thought of some species hurting his greatest work and ruining all he had worked to achieved
He carefully returned the tome to its place on the shelve, hundreds like this one lined the wall holding books and artifacts and much more
"Sylia, are you in here?" A woman marched into his private space and he looked up irked
"I believe it's an unspoken rule to leave me alone while i work" He looked down at her
"But you always work" She pouted
"For us my love" He replied crossly
The woman he spoke to paused and smiled, her fair skin was flawless, her blue eyes an ocean that any man could drown in, she wore a regal gown and had regal bearing, her black hair like his was shoulder long and flowed freely and jewels ardoned her neck, she like him was a godling, the godling of beauty: Venitra
It was an unspoken thing that your title gave you added benefits, like eskion: god of all could... uh or leila: god of truth could tell if you were being honest from things as simple as your body language and breathing Venitras title had given her unrivaled beauty and Sylia: god of all the wise and inventors, his title hadn't been well thought up, he loved tinkering with objects he had found after the first planet he had drifted to and had just decided .
Sylia could see things others could not, connect dots no one else could and reason impossibly quickly, he had met venitra on the third planet he had been to and he had found he had fallen in love with her easy going nature and childish nature after all Sylia felt like he was trillions of years old and she helped him live a little
"I'm flattered" she spoke at last
Sylia let a small smile creep across his face and he transported the essence into a jar carefully, corking it and placing it on a shelve
"ooh, what is that?" Venitra asked curious
"Nothing you should be concerned with" Sylia said
"You don't know do you?" Venitra arched her eyebrows and Sylia pouted, she knew him too much
"No"
He had gotten it from the other side of his rift, from an elf that had tried to tear him to shreds which he thought had been funny, in the end he found that... thing instead of a soul, he looked at it on the shelve, squirming in its glass prison like the hundred others he had collected. What was that thing? And why, no... How did it exist?
"Don't beat yourself up" Venitra grinned and walked over to him
"Bu-" he had started but had been interrupted by a kiss
"How about you finish up later?" Venitra mumbled inbetween the kiss and he nodded
"y-yeah"
