《Eskion -god of all》Loyalties

Huh. I'm sitting across Hereclea or should is say Djaka, trying to grasp the situation i'm in, he on the other hand sits across from me calmly sipping tea from a small delicate cup.
"So why are the gods after me again?" i arch my eyebrows confused
"You're a threat to everything they've built. It's only natural they want you gone" he shrugs and i narrow my eyes
'if i had known being a godling would be this tiring... There really wasn't much i could do as i didn't choose this'
"How long have i been out?"
"A few weeks" He replied calmly
"Eh- i can't be here. Leila-" I start
"Will be okay" He interrupts
"But the god-"
"Aranara wouldn't hurt your friend... Much" He says
"Much?" i grit my teeth
He sets down his teacup and smiles at me charmingly "Think of it this way, say you sped out of here to save your friend. How do you hope to accomplish that? from what i've seen you barely made it through the last Milenia. Do tell, what could you do against a god?"
"I...Tch" i curl my hands into fists
"That's were i come in"
"What?" i look up sharply
"I would be willing to train you...To borrow you my strength" He gazes at me, his eyes sparkling
"There's always a catch" I mutter
"That is of course if you would be willing to swear your loyalty to me"
"Nani?!!"
"It is a small thing. Your loyalty for the strength to protect those you hold dear" He says calmly like it's the simplest choice in the world
"Its not that simple" i hiss
"Take your time...It is after all a life changing choice"
"How many idiots actually agreed to this?" I arch my eyebrows
Advertisement
"Quite a lot"
'Like i'd just agree to be some gods pet project... But then again i kinda need his help'
"Where the hell am i?"
"So vulgar. We're in the dark space"
"The what?" i blink
"The dark space. A singularity of sorts, after all it is a rift within a rift" He says calmly
"A what within a what?"
"Have you ever thought, What is the void? A continuous expanse of space or something much much more." he pauses to sip his tea "It's a prison of sorts, The elder gods decided we weren't fit to live in their paradise and tossed us all in here"
"Us?"
"Those that rebelled against his will"
"Who the heck is he?"
"Sometimes i forget how young you are"
"What does that have to do with me?" I arch my eyebrows
"War is coming. And you are the deciding factor, tell me Eskion: God of all what side will you be on" Hereclea says
"Wait. what?"
"You are the first hellspawn, the first original" He pauses and regards me "All the others have failed. But you...You have managed to create a balance, a balance of good and evil"
"I'm lost here"
"Have you never wandered what your purpose is?" he asks
"I like to think i'm useful to everyone" i shrug noncomitally
"Funny thing to say…" He paused and opened his mouth then closed it
"What is my purpose?" i raise my eyebrows
"it is nothing you should concern yourself with right now" he smiles charmingly
"B-but you just said-" i start then paused "What's up with the place, must everything be vague?"
"You must have met Vera"
"The librarian?"
"A bit too … eccentric" Hereclea shrugged
"huh"
"You should be given a tour of the castle" He smiled

"y-"
"Father!!!" A girl bursts into the study
"Erdna" Hereclea sighs
I turn. Erdna is about 6'2 with pale skin, blue curly hair: fierce purple eyes and pointy ears - Wait a minute. Pointy fucking ears? An elf maybe
"Who is this?" she turns to me
"wasup"
"Another straggler?" she ignores me and arches her eyebrows
"Eh?"
"I was hoping you'd give him a tour" Hereclea smiles
"But i wanna train~" Erdna whined
"Hmpfh. Like i'd want to go anywhere with you" i narrow my eyes
"What's that supposed to mean?" She glowered
"You don't look very dependable" i shrug
Which was slightly true, considering she wore a jacket over a black training bra, black leather pants and blue silhetto heels. Although i had to admit, she looked banging and i was really trying not to look beneath her face
"What you think doesn't matter. You're a nonentity" She says
"wha- I'm a god; well a godling… Hellspawn, it doesn't matter. You know why? because i'm fucking awesome" i counter
"So he says"
"W-" i start
"Take it outside" hereclea snaps his finger and we are transported outside the study
"Look what you've done" she pouts
"What i've done? Yo were the one who started it"
"ugh" she rolls her eyes and i frown
"Are you going to give me a tour or what?" i ask
"I'm not doing this cause you asked" she scowled
"i'm sure of it" i smile
"hmpfh"

Paladin
When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for reading, and please let me know if I've made mistakes!

Cosmic Plague
In this world, everyone is cursed with a single fate: Become the most powerful. But those who do become powerful, they hate it. Power is misery and death is the solace. လလလ Nazar, a weapon of mass destruction created by the ancient God of Destruction revolted against his creator a long time ago. While he did defeat his creator, the power he was given is still within him. He is cursed with infinite power, standing at the top of the celestial hierarchy. He has more power and wealth than he needs. But even then, he craves one thing; death. He wants to die. Power is misery and death is the solace, but he cannot achieve his only goal. He cannot die. Perhaps that will change when one day, an ancient cosmic Goddess rises from her grave? Perhaps she will finally kill him? Or will she fall short before his awesome yet terrible power? Only time will tell. This is a high cosmic story about the hypocritical life of the protagonist and how it affects everyone (and everything) around him. Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)
