Meeting with Media is the last thing that Vaan expect to happen today, but here she is standing in front of Vaan with a smile and Vaan realize that Media has been a growing up girl compare to the last time they meet up.

“Hai Vaan, it has been a long time we don’t meet,” says Media while blushing.

“Yeah, it has been 4 years now. How have you been?”

“I was in my hometown and doing my studies at one of the magic schools there.”

“Let have a talk outside of this shop shall we?”

Agree to have a talk after long absent, Vaan and Media go to the lake where they had gather herb before, there Vaan has been asking where Media go and what was she doing during all those time. Media take some time in explaining to her, but Vaan understand that Media has been working hard in studies and he know that Media has gotten even stronger than last time.

During the talk, behind the tree not far away from them, a huge Grey Boar has appeared. Vaan and Media stand and prepare themselves, suddenly Media smile and said something to Vaan.

Vaan claps his hand after seeing the performance from Media, it looks like Media spells also have grown stronger after 4-year gaps.

After answering Media question, Vaan suggests that both of them return to town. Vaan and Media have a walk around the town and check on the shop which attracts the attention, Vaan said that he wants to buy something to wear during the birthday and Media agree to go there with Vaan. In cloth shop, Media has been acting like Vaan personal stylish and advice Vaan on what kind of suitable cloth he should wear at that night.

Vaan learns something new today; never go shopping with girls especially to choose cloth to wear. To repay the gratitude for Media because she willingly spends her time with Vaan, Vaan brings Media to the sweet shop and had a dessert there. Vaan glad Media is a type of person that love sweet thing too it the same with Virtie.

After separate from Media, Vaan take a look at the time. It seems that he had time to spend before return to his home. Vaan happy to see that Media become a strong but deep inside his heart there is a jealousy that he can’t hide to himself. Vaan goes out to the city once again and starts the training in secret.

During the training, Vaan spends his time to hunt the Grey Boar around the lake where he and Media spent their time just now. Using his swords skill Vaan easily defeat five Grey Boar by himself but he keeps pushing his body to the limit until he gets a new pop out about his sword skill.

Vaan can’t oppose the head maid order because he respects her just like his mother, so Vaan goes to the reading room and just sleep there until the time for the party is near.

Tonight is the time for the birthday party, Vaan prepare himself with black cloth with a blue light button, pant from high silk also color in black, beside him is his father and mother wearing noble like cloth. Together they enter the hall and Vaan can see many people clap their hand after the entering from Vaan and his family.
