Surprise with the voice coming from behind, Vaan become speechless because he only can see a girl wearing hat and glasses standing near him. Vaan recognizes the voice and when he tries to speak loudly that girl stop him at the moment. That girl is his fiancée, and she comes to the town in order to meet with Vaan and also because of the festival. According to Virtie, her father the king also arrive today in the town and now at Vaan’s house meeting up with Vaan’s father, but the princess comes to the festival in order to meet with Vaan, because Vaan’s mother told her that she could meet Vaan here.

“So, can you take me to walking around the town and show me around for today?”

“Well, I got nothing to do for today, so why not.”

“Where should we go first? Oh, please pick any interesting spot you think in your mind.”

“Trust me, you will enjoy for today.”

Vaan takes the princess walk around the city, and Vaan’s plan is to let the princess see the atmosphere around the town which she hardly can see. First, stop that Vaan pickup is the place where selling an ice-cream and crepe, the princess seems to enjoy her meal and she even orders for another one to eat once more. The second destination is the bakery, place where Vaan help the owner getting butter. The owner seems happy to see Vaan bring another girl with him into his shop, as for show the kindness, he treats Vaan and his girl for free special bread from his shop.

“Sir Vaan, the town-people are kind and nice towards you, what have you done to earn their respect?”

“I have done nothing for that, I only help them at the time they need and never ask for payment of benefits.”

“I see, I hope someday I can be like you Sir Vaan.”

“Let’s both of us work hard to be someone fit with our title.”

“That a promise okay.”

Vaan replied with a smile on his face, then he brings the princess to watch the beauty contest when it about to start. Vaan can see on her face there is a little bit of jealousy shown when Vaan stare at the contested of the show after all the contested has been introduced now is the time for the judge to pick who will win the match. Today judge is very special because the first judge is Vaan’s father and the second one is Virtie’s father the king himself, both of them looks happy to be the pick as a judge and for Vaan and Virtie is an embarrassing moment to see both of their fathers with a lustful eye watching the women on stage.

Among the people, suddenly Virtie scream and hug Vaan’s body, confuse and shock about the situation Vaan tries to calm down the princess. Vaan asks why she screams, and the princess says that someone has taken her money and then run away in the sea of people, Vaan tries to look around but because there are many people in the area it hard for Vaan to pinpoint the suspect. Vaan holds Virtie’s hand and began their search for the culprit.

30 minutes in search, but there is no sight for the suspect. The princess’s face starts to change as she starts to cry because her monthly money has been stolen from here. Vaan touches her head in order to let her feel safe, but Vaan also has met his dead end on the way to find the lost money. Vaan keeps thinking until a voice come from his mind.

“Use my power; you shall see who the real culprit is,” says the voice.

Please grant me the power to see the truth.

As per word Vaan say by his mouth, his eyes began to change once again. Virtie, who is watching that happen, just can’t utter another word about what happened, not only Vaan’s eye changes but at the same time, his power also increases. Using his eye ability, Vaan tries to look around once again and this time there is a pop out status show about people status, the difference this time is, it only shows guilt or not. Vaan keeps looking for guilt status and then finally he found that person running to the west side of the city where many orphanages live there.

Vaan and Virtie walk to that place and they can see many poor people there, Virtie feel insecure but Vaan keep his poker face as they walk there. Vaan stops his movement until they reach an old house at the end of the city, Vaan knocks the door and open it and in that moment a boy with a knife trying to stab Vaan’s body but thanks to his training Vaan easily grab the knife and throw the attacker off balance and fall down.

“Please don’t bully my brother,” said the young girl.

“Please forgive him,” says the young boy.

“Stupid don’t come out, keep hiding inside,” said the oldest boy.

Based on the situation they seem to be in one family, Vaan let go the oldest boy as he approaches the youngest girl and asks what is really happened here. Based on the girl stories, their parent has been killed by the monster 3 years ago and now the oldest brother is taking care of them, but because he cannot find any job, he starts to be a pickpocket and take other people money. That is not only the reason, but the younger boy also seems to be sick and in bad condition.

Before Vaan able to touch that sick boy, Virtie has cast her healing magic and cure the illness in that boy. The brother and the young girl seem to be happy that their brother is healthy once again. They endless bow their head and say thank the princess, the princess forgives them and let them have the money earlier. Vaan seems satisfied with Virtie attitude and mindset as he begins to smile, Virtie ask is there something wrong with her face and Vaan only reply with there is nothing wrong with it.

The end of the beauty contest is also the end of the day, Vaan and Virtue return to Vaan’s house when they see both of their fathers being punished by their mothers because of what happened today. Vaan says to himself that he needs to be careful when dealing with a woman in his life and future, Vaan also confuses why the king and his family stay with him rather than at good inn and the princess answer by doing that she can meet with Vaan every day. Vaan blush and head to his room quickly and start to sleep.

*Second day of festival*

Vaan walk toward the tournament area early in the morning in order to prepare himself, he thought that he the only one think like that but at the arena many people who sign in already been there. All of them look at Vaan and smile because a boy joins in the battle, Vaan can see that some of them are an adventurer but many of them only a farmer and regular people he can find in the city but he still can’t let his guards down this time.

The tournament begins after the arrival of the king and king’s family, Princess Virtie stands in front of the seat to get a clear sight on the man she loves will fight in the arena. The tournament near to start, but suddenly the king gives his idea to change the fighting schedule, asking proposed the tournament for this year will be the battle arena where many fighter fights in the same time. The citizen looks unsatisfied at first, but after the king explains his idea all the citizen begin to cheer again, and so the battle begins with the entire fighter walk in into the arena.

On the sound of magic, all the contestant begin the battle, they attack and beat any person near them and as for Vaan he takes a good measurement and keeps his energy of use to the minimum as he can see this battle will be a long battle. One by one the contestant unable to fight and need to withdraw, Vaan keep a close eye on the Oni man. Vaan shock because he alone can take out four people just using his hand only. Lost focus in the battle, Vaan being hit by a huge man using his club. Vaan’s head seems to be bleeding but that attack just woke him up from the dream as he unleashes his weapon and in the blink of time he cut the opponent down, luckily that sword is just a fake so the big guy escapes from the deadly situation.

The viewer screams and cheers up for him until Vaan see that Oni man being surrounded by 10 opponents, Vaan try to help that person but Vaan realizes something not right about that situation. On that man's hand seems to be something shining and suddenly the cloud began to turn dark and feel chill so sudden. Knowing on what will coming, Vaan quickly makes a large distance from that man, the viewer says Vaan is being coward but suddenly, when the Oni man moves his hand down, few of lightning bolt also came down and swipe the entire arena.

Few seconds after that, the persons who able to stand are Vaan and that man themselves. As the battle near to the end all the viewer keep their mouth closed and even the king himself can avoid from being curious who will win the battle. As waiting for a good moment to strike Vaan known that he can’t win using a normal method so he will use all his knowledge and skill in order to fight this man and beat him.
