《Battle School》Execution Pt I

Chapter 29: Execution Pt I
The time to strike was now we were both armed to the teeth and to our advantage the weather was atrocious, it was dark and raining hard causing a reckless amount of noise making entering the compound a piece of cake. Jade followed and was diligent in her efforts, the opening part of the plan went off without a hitch, placing the first charge near the front entrance and making our way around, placing charges everywhere that was needed, so far we didn’t have to execute anyone, we were able to use the sound of the heavy rain to slip past without making any noise, it also helped that our combat suits were dark black and made it near impossible to see us in the dark spots. What worried Jade so far was that the commander hadn’t been spotted, my suspicion was that the commander was towards the centre of the compound doing whatever it was that he was doing. We then encircled the centre, continuing to place charges all around and at this point I was beginning to pick blind spots where explosives wouldn’t obliterate you, that worried me as we didn’t have the extra explosives to compensate for the minor error, to my knowledge there were 3 blind spots where you would be unaffected by the explosives damage I noted them in my brain and made sure that the gunners outside the camp knew for when the place went bang. As we closed in towards the centre it became harder and harder to slip through the guards as the centre was more heavily defended and tighter. Me and Jade came to an area with three guards that stood where we needed to plant a charge I then signalled to Jade “near up on the one in the rear, after you take him out I’ll handle the other two.” I then unsheathed my knife and held it along with my sidearm, moving into position as Jade crept her way around, I then saw her get onto the roof of one of the small sheds above them using her smaller size to make no noise, she then gave me the signal to make the move, I then snuck up behind the first guard, grabbing him from behind and jamming my knife into him throat, Jade then dropped off the roof onto the guard in the rear, I then pulled my gun over the shoulder of the guard I had in my arms and put a round in his brain before he could react to what was going on. Within 3 seconds 3 guards were gone with no-one being alerted “Hide the bodies and plant the charges, I’ll clear the building.” Jade nodded and continued her mission, I then moved into the building the guards were blocking suspecting they were hiding something, I opened the door quietly with my gun being drawn in front of me. I popped my head in and was immediately met with enemy panic as three guards saw me, I had to make sure no-one triggered an alarm or fired a gunshot, I threw a stun grenade with a 2 second fuse and closed the door locking them inside, once I heard the pop of the stun going off I charged back inside without making a sound executing all of them within seconds with pinpoint accuracy. But to my dismay the commander wasn’t in here I then radioed Jade “What’s your status?” I then waited a moment before getting a response “Cleared the bodies and planted the charge, what about you, anything in there?” I sighed before responding “Just three guards that nearly ruined the whole plan, they have been dispatched however.” I then paused in a moment of silence “Are we compromised?” Jade asked curiously “No, I got rid of them quick smart.” I then heard a sound in Jade’s radio “Jade are you good?” the radio fell silent at that moment I panicked, I darted out the building and looked around for her before seeing her stab a guy on the ground. “You gave me a fucking heart attack!” Jade then began dragging the body away “Have a little faith Benton!” I then argued “Nothing can go wrong here Jade, we mustn’t be compromised!” Jade nodded and kept moving, making our way towards the centre taking out every guard we had too which was become more and more as we got to the centre building and after making it there we realised the real challenge of the mission, the centre building was crawling with guards. Jade was immediately concerned “There is no way we can get through that!” during her freak out however I was mapping out dark spots, weak patches, isolated zones, entrances and exits, hiding spots and so on. “We can do it, but we have to separated.” I then pointed out her route, “All you have to do Is execute those two guards by the door, every other place you can slip past in the dark spots, and there are plenty of areas where if you have too you can isolate and take out some guards without raising suspicion, you just have to keep calm and stay focused, there can’t be any mistakes or you will get spotted, this will be much harder… but we can do it.”

Me and Jade split and both went our own ways, I covered the back exit on the right hand side and Jade would clear the front and break inside, the problem was inside was an unknown territory, we didn’t know where all the guards were and we would have to be diligent and focused in order to make it our alive let alone spotted, there was no room for even human error as it could get us killed. As planned I hid in the dark, avoiding the spots of light that made navigating this place possible, what stuck me about this compound was its size, it was massive, it made sense as it housed the remaining amount of the commanders army, it did take me and Jade well over an hour just to get done what we needed too and now we were here in the final stretch. I managed to slip past almost all the guards with no error, only having to pick off a few pairs of soldiers that stood in my way. I managed to make it to the back door, taking out the two guards that stood in front of it, just like that I was inside.
My focus had never been clearer, I went to open the door only to be met with it being locked, it needed a card in order to be opened, I scrambled through the bodies of the guards to find their cards using it to unlock the door and give me entry, I entered with no resistance, the only thing I saw was a massive white room with tables chairs and desks littered around it, their were no guards in the room, I suppose it made sense as It was locked from the inside meaning anyone that shouldn’t couldn’t get in but I mean, I didn’t have to try very hard to get a card to get In, you would figure they would at least leave one it here. Just as I was thinking that a guard came out and yelled “Pat, what the hell do you want now?” the guard played it off casual as if this was a regular occurrence, he then saw me and panicked “Who the fuck are yo-“ I then proceeded to pull the trigger to find the magazine was empty all my gun did was click, he then went to raise his weapon as I threw my knife at him in the same fashion as the commander did to me it struck him dead in the chest, his armour absorbed the knife barely even causing a wound, whilst he was distracted however I performed what must have been the fastest reload in the world and took him out… the problem is that in hitting him he also managed to fire his weapon alerting everyone in the base to my presence…
