《Worlds within world》Chapter 10:

“KILL IT! SHOOT IT DOWN!”
“KILL THE BEAST!”
“IF WE BRING HIM DOWN, THOSE CUBS WOULD ALSO BE OURS!”
Screaming was the first thing Will heard as he rubbed his head.
'Owww...I feel like someone drugged me. Wait...stupid Hey-Hey DID drug me!'
Recalling what happened before he passed out; Will hurriedly opened his eyes and looked around him.
He wished he didn’t.
Surrounding the so-called “floating sword” in midair, were hundreds of people on different kinds of floating equipments. Will even saw someone riding a huge flying fan and one was even weirder and flew on top of what looked to be a giant needle. The thing was that dude rode the needle – vertically. Some had several people riding together while others were going solo on their own flying devices.
“HEY-HEY! What did you do to them? Why are they chasing us?” Will yelled at the back of “Hey-Hey” as the later continued to dodge arrows and other projectiles thrown out by other people.
The rushing wind didn’t help either as it failed to block any of the noise the flying weapons made when they passed by Hey-Hey’s “sword”. To his credit Hey-Hey was rather good as he drove his “sword” to weave through the gaps in the waves of weapons that were coming down on them.
‘I dunno why, but this feels like a real life version of Mario Ka*t… Also I’m kinda curious why I’m not being ripped off from this thing… magical physics?’
“Stay quiet! I’m trying to concentrate! Damn it, they had to be wandering this area when I pass by, and didn’t even bother trying to talk before attacking! What did I do wrong? My Dreamer’s Gourd was also destroyed by them; it was the only magical artifact that I owned!”
Sensing that he should probably be quiet for now, Will calmly watched as the surrounding groups of people got closer and closer. They seemed to be closing the net after surrounding Will’s group.
“Um.. Hey-Hey! You might wanna speed up here. They’re kinda catching up and making a nice half-circle curve around us. I don’t remember what they called this in war games, but I think this is a strategy!”
“God damn it!” Cursing, “Hey-Hey” seemed to have thrown everything he got into the sword as the blade underneath Will’s feet sped up even faster.
At first Will was worried, but then he noticed that there weren’t any wind at all! It felt like he was in a car and traveling on a nice flat road, rather then in the air and traveling on a sword-table thingy.
'Wow, didn’t know it had something like this! Now if he had told me that this sword was like this I wouldn’t have been unwilling to get on! Man, people sometimes just don’t say the right things.'

Following Humans POV
They could only watch as the flying sword in front of them got smaller and smaller before disappearing completely from view.
One man in the crowd suddenly seemed to have realized something, “Hey! Everyone, if we just keep following their direction I bet we still have a chance to acquire some magical beast parts!”
The rest seemed to understand his meaning and continued to inject their Qi into their magical treasures. Sadly none of them were above the Qi Condensation Stage, else they would have been able to fly on their own power and not have to rely on a magical flying treasure to do so for them.
As they all continued to head into the direction the flying sword had went, each of them started to think about how to get the most benefits from the dead body of a Magical Beast that had gained a human form. Not to mention that there seemed to have been children with it, likely it had become the guardian of the children after their parent had been killed.
Unlike human society, where such stupid actions were rarely done, as no one wants to take care of a burden that wasn’t even their own.
Magical Beasts on the other hand died for another’s young, even if they had never even known of the other’s existence until then.
As they say, beasts will be beasts, humans are the rulers of this world because they are powerful, intelligent, numerous, and creative. Even if they have a weak body, if they gather in tens of thousands, they can take down a monster far above their own capabilities.
They just needed to sacrifice the retards that go first.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
After several minutes of the insane speed, Will felt the sword start shaking below him, and before he could even ask what was happening, it started to plummet straight down.
'THIS IS WHY I DIDN’T WANT TO GET ON!'
Now the strong wind could clearly be felt on his entire body as Will fell down towards the ground, some couple miles below.
Nearby, he saw his sister and minions also plummeting down, their only difference is that they still weren’t awake yet!
'Sure I get why I woke up faster than my minions since I still have all the mana sands...but why hasn’t Big Sissy wakened up? Wasn’t she at what, the 6th level or something? Wait...where’s Hey-Hey?'
Looking past his almost shut eyelids, as the wind caused pain to surface whenever he tried opening them; Will tried to search for “Hey-Hey”. After all, if the driver isn’t driving then that means something happened to him.
However, it seemed as if the man had disappeared into thin air!

“BUZZZZZ”
'Did I just here a bee? Why is a bee here at this height? I didn’t even know they could fly this high...well gg no re people. Another life down because of some dumbass that can’t drive. Seriously, people need to sleep before they drive. If they do that then all those “other-world transportation” novels and anime wouldn’t exist!'
A flash of yellow caught Will’s eye as he was finishing his preparation for another life, when he felt something grab his entire body before being thrown onto something fluffy.
‘Huh?’
The wind seemed to have died down, as Will looked at his “savior”.
A giant 10-meter long bee was floating in the air; its wings were what was making the buzzing sound he heard earlier. His sister and minions soon followed and landed beside him, all of them still asleep as they were thrown by a large jointed pitch-black bee leg. Will was beginning to doubt they would wake up even if hell flowed out from under them…
'Well I just got saved by a insect...what fun. Ha. Ha. Man if I wasn’t taking meds before, I might have to start soon. What kind of insect rescues people? Rather what kinds of GIANT insect rescues people? The only giant insects I know eats people, still remember that manga with the giant plants and bugs...freaky.'
“Um...thank you Mr.Buggy! You are really nice to help us! I’ll give you a small red ball to put on your nose later as thanks!”
Trying to thank a nice bug is always a good thing to do, and giving them a red nose is partly for his amusement and partly a reward for his life.
“Why are you giving me another nickname?” A human-like voice replied, sounding like what a bee would sound if it could talk through its buzzing noise.
“Huh? THE BUG TALKED! AHHHH, INSECTS CAN THINK AND PLAN! WE’RE ALL DOOMED! DOOOOMMMMED!”
----------------------------------------
“Big Bug” POV
“SHUT UP! I had it up to here with you! Stay silent until we get to the sect and you can scream all you want ok? Until then become a statue and don’t talk!”
Flapping his wings, “Hey-Hey” resumed flying, this time bringing Will and his little group on his back instead.
After all, he was already being chased down, no point hiding his true form now.
Besides, the sword was always far slower then he was. Besides its not like he is pissed that it was destroyed; after all it was only worth a few months of hard work to redeem it.
He definitely wasn’t pissed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
“Mommy” POV
“Dear, I suddenly feel like the children as in danger! We have to return now!” As soon as she spoke, her body had already turned around and charged towards the direction where she felt the most uneasy from.
However, her husband had already blocked her path with his body, even turning into his true avian form to get a larger area covered.
“Look, if we just ran off now and ditch the mission, we would be forced to spend even more time going back and forth! Do you really want that dear? Listen, Will and Shui-er are safe, I promise! They are in the care of someone who is at least at the late Golden Core Stage or higher! I made sure to request someone to handle it well - besides they owned me a favor for taking care of that squabble about the honey issue. Anyways, just come with me and spy on the human’s movements here for a few more weeks. Then once we are sure that we didn’t miss anything, we can go back to the sect to see the children, ok? Just endure with it for a few more weeks.”
Her husband tried to comfort her, but for some reason she felt like he missed something somewhere. She didn’t know how she knew, but it felt like her female intuition was telling her that her bird-brain of a husband definitely had messed something up!
‘However, he is right that if we have to repeat this stupid mission, I wouldn’t be able to see my children for an even longer time period!’
Her instincts and logic warred, and logic won.
“Fine dear, you're probably right. I guess I was just over thinking it, it’s not like those guys back at the sect would be dumb enough to just send someone at the Foundation Establishment Stage to pick up our children so close to the human border right? Besides the only nearby Magical Beast habitat is that of the Yellow-Black Bees, and they’re not fighters at all. Unless those guys had only planned for him to travel as fast as he could at full power to and back, they wouldn’t send someone of the Yellow-Black Bee race over.”
Convincing herself with her own words, she felt relieved and was surprised that she inwardly believed those guys back at the sect weren’t total retards and dumbasses.
Otherwise someone stupid would die very painfully.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey.
