《Worlds within world》Chapter 9:

After what seemed like hours, the man took his eyes off the note Will’s parents wrote and rubbed his forehead, his face trying to hold back a look of regret and failing miserably.
'Did I hit him too hard? But looking at this giant crater here, I think he should have a really good body? Or maybe he just used magic to get here and this is just the spillover from the spell?'
Thinking about how he might be punished later, Will pretend everything that just occurred didn't happen.
“Hi there Mr.Person! Me and Big Sissy are here! Me not sure what is happening - can you pwease explain it?” Making sure to throw in a few mispronounced words and widening his eyes are wide as he could; Will went all out to appear as harmless and cute as possible.
Still rubbing his forehead, the man looked at the small shota in front of him, before sighing and replying, “Ok, it seems we had a bad start, let’s try this again. My name is Huang Hei, I’m here on the orders of your parents to pick you up and bring you to the sect. Do you have any questions so far?”
“What’s a sect?” Tilting his head at an angle to the side, Will was unable to understand this new term that just randomly showed up out of nowhere.
'Is he really someone who Meme and Pepe asked get us? I thought he would bring us to the magical equivalent of a daycare of something. The hell is a sect? Anime and manga never had sects… they only had adventure's guilds and stuff. Wait… '
“It's a place for people like us to gather, learn new skills, and cultivate. If you contribute to the sect you can get more benefits in return. Both of your parents are also a part of our Mountain Sect! They are also rather high in terms of authority, which is why they could make a Foundation Establishment Cultivator like me go all the way over here just to pick you guys up.” The last part was spoken with a bit of depression in it.
'Foundation Establishment? Oh right, that stupid way they measure mana… but wasn’t it literally like the next level above the Qi Condensation Stage? Why does he seem to imply that Foundation Establishment is a big deal? And couldn't he have just said he'll bring us to the adventure's guide? Stupid translation.'
“Hey-Hey! Is a Foundation Establishment person really that good? Me remember Pepe saying that they were right after Qi Condensation right? So you’re just a little higher then Big Sissy and me!” Will felt that his name was too long and hard to pronounce, why couldn’t it be like “Aqua” or “Darkness”. Nooo. It had to be Huang Hei, so he made a nickname.
“Wait what did you just call me?” "Hey-Hey" had a strange expression on his face, seemingly somewhere between the thoughts of “Should I get angry” and “Do I just ignore this?”
“Me think your name to hard to say, so me say Hey-Hey! Hey-Hey, you still haven’t answered my question!”
“Before that, just copy me. Hu-Ang. H-Ei. Now you try.”
“Hey-Hey!”
Giving a look of defeat, Hey-Hey went back to rubbing his forehead. “Alright, fine you win! Whatever. And yes, a Foundation Establishment is a big deal, only one in a hundred Qi Condensation Stage cultivator can reach it.” Pointing to himself he continues, “That makes me the 1% that reached this stage, and at a really young age too! Today I’m only 25 years old!”

Hey-Hey looked really proud when he said that. So Will felt that it was time that he learned some humility.
“WOW, Hey-Hey you so OLD! Me be sad when Hey-Hey goes bye-bye! When are you going bye-bye? Me can ask Big Sissy to make you a nice colorful brick!”
Coughing, Hey-Hey looks as if he was trying to cough out blood instead of saliva. Wheezing, he seems even worse then he did before his little proud moment.
“Fine, fine! I’m not all that great ok? There are probably thousands of people running around the sect of a higher cultivation than me! Happy? I just wanted to look cool in front of you kids…”
Big teardrops of sadness fell out of his eyes, Will looked at the skinny weak-looking person in front of him and felt that he might had said too much. Clearly this dude needed some serious psychological counseling if a little shota like him could cause him to cry this easily.
'It might be because he spent his entire life alone in a dark room or something? If his skin tone is anything to go by, this dude probably isn’t used to the sun’s rays at all. Well, let’s just get going before he starts telling me his entire life story.'
Deciding that someone this sad couldn’t possibly be an evil child-kidnapper. Will shook his sister again just for luck before leaving her there stand-sleeping and went into the house to pack all their things.
'Let’s see… Blacky’s unhatched eggs, Fluffy’s fur, Birdy’s feathers, Professor Bun-Bun’s fur… some random bricks pieces for Big Sissy… her bed and blanket...my pillow and blanket...and some grass to feed my minions…'
Throwing everything onto Shui-er bed, Will dragged it outside. It should be mentioned that Shui-er didn’t sleep on their parent’s bed with them; instead she insisted that she would sleep on the ground. So “mommy” made what was basically a futon for her.
Will still wasn’t sure how “mommy” came up with this kind of design, but he figured it was likely just a freak combination of events that created something suspiciously resembling a replica of a futon… after all this clearly isn't Japan.
Or is it?
Straining his little body, Will dragged the futon over towards Hey-Hey, plopping it down as he panted for breath.
'Man I need to seriously work out… maybe later? Nah, I guess I just make use of some kind of magic to do all this stuff… I know! I’m gonna first learn how to cast the levitate spell. This sect thing I’m going to better at least know how to float things up - otherwise they’re all quacks!'
“Hey-Hey! Me got all of our stuff! Now we can go!” Lifting his head up to see Hey-Hey’s face, Will spoke to the depressed person in front of him.
“Sure... “Signing deeply and wiping his eyes, Hey-Hey unsheathed his black sword from his back.
That action caused Will to react almost instinctively, as another punch tried to land directly on Hey-Hey’s nuts.
This time it was blocked by a palm, “Look! I’m not trying to hurt you! Seriously, didn’t your parent ever fly you guys around using a sword? Sheesh... ” Hey-Hey must have wised up after becoming depressed. He probably predicted that Will might try to punch him again, so his other hand was already in place to block another low blow.
“See? Nothing bad, I’m just channeling my Qi into this sword so that it would expand and allow me to carry you guys with me.” As he spoke, before Will’s eyes, the slim black long blade grew in both length and width in Hey-Hey’s hand, until it grew longer by several meters and became wide enough for a normal King-sized bed to fit on.

'The long sword became a floating table?'
Possibly due to the difference in ratios, as the width had widened considerably compared to the length, the long sword now looks like a short and wide table...or to be nicer, a really dull and wide knife.
As Will was blankly looking at him, Hey-Hey causally let go of the “table”, but instead of falling to the ground, it hovered in the air with the wide side facing up.
“Alright! Get on. The faster we finish this, the faster I can get something to make me forget everything that happened today.” Indicting for Will to step onto the floating blade, Hey-Hey even lowered the attitude down so that Will would have an easier time getting on it.
“Um...Hey-Hey...Are we just flying like this? No safety belts? Nothing I can hold on to in case you do a swan dive?”
“Huh? What’s a safety belt?”
“Ok, never mind, I guess me and Big Sissy are going to wait here until Meme and Pepe returns. Have a good trip back to your sect!” Pulling the futon and his sister’s hand, Will turned around and headed back towards the house.
'That explains the explosion; the moron probably doesn’t even know what a brake is. If I get on that death-trap, I better have written my will beforehand…'
“Hold up! Why are you not getting on? This is a very fast way to travel! Seriously! We can return within a few days at the latest!” Hey-Hey looked really panicked as he tried to advertise his so-called “ride”.
Will turned around to face him, “Hey-Hey, I just want to ask you one question; when you landed here in the beginning, how did you stop?”
“Um, I just landed… “Seeming puzzled by such a weird question, Hey-Hey hesitantly responded.
“And that’s why I don't want to get on.” Turning back, Will went back to dragging his sister and the futon into the house.
Behind him, Will could almost hear the sound of snapping. But it’s likely his imagination…
Before he passed out.

Huang Hei’s POV
Watching as the white smoke rush out from the opening of his Dreamer’s Gourd, Huang Hei calmly plugged the stopper in and returned it back into his storage belt.
He turned his gaze at the pair of children that caused him to feel similar to some kind of sick person who enjoys suffering.
Honestly, the lolita wasn’t the main issue. In fact she was extremely well behaved, if sleepwalking was considered behaving …
No, the main problem was that innocent looking shota. From hitting his vitals, to insulting his name, to spitting on his accomplishments, Huang Hei almost went ape on the little shit. Luckily, he retained a small bit of logical thought and knew that if he as much as harm a hair on any of them; he would be beyond dead.
A lesson he learned in the sect was to never mess with a feline’s litter, it didn’t even matter which species they were. One day, they would get even with you and make you pay back thousands of time over.
He could still remember that day when it rained fire from the skies. The entire sect was caught in it... He had to rebuild his house from brunt wood because that was the only material that survived. The feline even managed to get the fire to burn artifacts as easily as the formation-powered ground. There is still some wondering back in the sect why of all things, the wood was the only thing that WASN'T totally turned into dust.
As a person who tried to not make enemies, Huang Hei made sure to stay far away from any feline members. He was able to keep this ideal until a few days ago, when a sect mission showed up on his emblem. As he was the closest to this place, Huang Hei was ordered to pick up the children of two sect elders that were staying here for a mission.
He thought that it would be an easy job, just show up, grab the children and return to the sect. Unfortunately, the location of where to pick them up was extremely close to the human’s domain, Huang Hei had to always be on the alert the entire time he was traveling. After using all his speed and stealth skills to move as quickly as possible, he succeeded in arriving in a few days to his destination.
Then he hit another roadblock - the children weren’t told anything; he wasn't sure why, and don't know what their parent were thinking. He tried unsuccessfully to calm them down and get on his flying sword to leave. But he was again stopped by the little shota, who for unexplained reason, decided that he didn’t want to leave. Problem is, their current location is way too risky to stay in and because their parents weren’t around to protect them, Huang Hei had to harden his heart and knock them out.
As for the smile on his face when the shota hit his head on the ground, well, he didn’t have anything to do with that. The kid obviously fell by accident; it was in no way revenge for the insult he gave the name that was personally given from/by the Queen herself.
No definitely not.
Lugging the two limp bodies in his hands, Huang Hei placed them on his flying sword, Blackheart. Then he grabbed the bedding and the little animals that were also knocked out by the smoke, and chucked the whole lot on Blackheart.
Jumping on to the front of Blackheart, Huang Hei poured his Qi into the blade and it accelerated into the air.
Now I just need to return before they wake up… Better keep them knocked out while I’m traveling, can’t afford for them to do something stupid and have humans after us.
Touching his storage belt, Dreamer’s Gourd appeared back into his hand. Unplugging the bottle, Huang Hei made sure that there were enough of the smoke covering the entirely of Blackheart before concentrating on moving. Not only did it keep the children and pets knocked out, it gave him something akin to a smokescreen to travel with.
Letting out another sigh, Huang Hei thought about the consequences of his actions, and wondered if this counts as forceful help...or just kidnapping?
‘Let’s hope his parents would understand why I did this… I hate the fact that I didn’t choose another time to visit the hive. Why? Why do I choose this year?’
Sighing deeply again, Huang Hei increased the speed of his channeling, and Blackheart underneath him accelerated into the bright morning sky.

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
