《Prevented My Empire From Falling》034 Dreams

What? I stared in disbelief at the sight in front of me.
The papers were gone. Not all of them but… The papers where I wrote down what will happen/what happened are gone. Not exactly gone but some of the papers were blank.
I grabbed a random paper. The title wrote coronation and yet the contents were empty.
What? I was positive that I wrote down the events and ended it with the year I’ll die. Hmm. I think I was supposed to die quite soon though.
Anyways, why is it gone? Don't tell me.. But Aeson didn't seem to have opened the drawer. The traps I set and the 3 keys I kept hidden were all there and I didnt feel anything unfamiliar. Also the drawer slightly creaked when I opened it, a sign which meant I havent opened it for months---which was true. Plus I wrote everything with a pen, there's no way there was a way to cleanly erase it. Was magic possible to erase it? Or maybe because fate changed? So easily. Now that the future was a blindfold for me. Unseeable and dark. I rummaged through deeper. Yup. Some papers have disappeared and some events were faint like they didn't want to be seen.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Startled, I quickly closed the drawers and jumped on my bed and tucked inside my duvet. “Come in!” I quickly grabbed a random book which I happened to have on my bed.
Adonis came in as he scanned my room. He closed the door behind him. He strided to me and leaned next to my ear.
“Your Majesty, we can hear you from the outside. Please be careful.” he then leaned back and walked out of the room.
I sighed with relief. My legs were trembling and I developed an irritating twitch on my left eye. I carefully walked back to the drawer and locked it and hid the three keys back to where they belonged. I crawled back and closed my eyes.

“What did you learn in your Primary school years?” a teacher asked. I found myself back in high school.
“I learned to use my time wisely.” I answered. The answer was simple and short, maybe had different meanings. But it felt like the old me didn't want any questions to be asked.
Regardless, the teacher asked me another question. “Like who? Are they perhaps still here?”
I shook my head.
“Ah, so now you feel choked because as their friend you had no idea how they are doing right now and you wished you learned more about them?
“I guess,” said Reyna. The current me didn't quite understand what they were talking about even though I knew that this already happened. Just why can't I feel empathy?
“I’m interested in how you will use your time wisely.” she smiled though it wasn't a warm smile. More like a smile an adult would do when they are planning something. “Goodluck. Next!”
The scene changed.
We were back at the big crossroad with the big telie screen, and with the familiar before-and-after scenes. The people who were walking alongside watched.
“The casualties and deaths have only risen. Yesterday we had a big aftermath flood as you saw. The flood was unpredictable because tsunamis normally happens somewhere right after the earthquake and yet it happened with quite a delay-”
I willed my dream to go away forcing my eyes shut.
‘Show me something useful and not this kind of depressing thought,’ I thought. The vision shut although we were back at the center of unconsciousness. That white space, the same place where I reincarnated back into my former self.
Then the day after tomorrow, it’ll be like a circle, a major mission completing event. After tomorrow I’ll hopefully be able to die in peace.

“--I think she was killed-'' the tone was sharp and bitter. Calista’s voice emerged from my memories. I vaguely remembered the whole conversation--- when she taught me about the Great Empire Rela. Though thinking of it now, since I changed a bit of the future, bit by bit, and after this I’ll change it drastically, will I be able to meet my former friends like Callista and Lavena? Meeting Calista again would be great. Afterall I still haven't found her in this world. So far I’ve found the majority of the people I knew, Jason, Rian,Mira (though you pronounce it differently) Sara, Chares,Arye,Ralphen…. Lavena? I haven't seen Lavena! I thought I saw her briefly at the ball thinking it was her but, thinking of it now maybe I was mistaken. How unfortunate. I’m missing two of my most favourite people.
TWEEEEEET. CHIRP-
-the sounds of birds. So elegant and relaxing. The sound almost changes everyday and today I could hear the noise of a Kirsi, a bird from the west, and Orlixes the sacred animal of Arlene and most elegant. (In my opinion. I mean those feathers are priceless!)

Isekai'd slave
Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
