《Revelations Online》Chapter 01 - Part 1

Few passed the Beta Test Program. Out of twenty thousand entries in just a month, only five people were selected to be a Beta tester for the upcoming game -- Revelations Online.
Aaron Roosevelt was lucky enough to get selected as one. Thank god, it was finally time to leave his boring school life! Just after high school graduation, he intended to apply for a college degree but quickly changed his mind at the last minute when LINK offered a test just ten blocks away from his house.
He never actually had any friends, let alone an actual one for the past three years. Though he had social anxiety, the company said that they will be tested individually so there was no actual worry for his only weakness.
Never expecting to be part of the Beta Testers, he literally cried at the top of his lungs while covered fully under the blanket in his one-room apartment. That's right! He was broke and his parents could only give him a total allowance that could only last six months. After that, he was all alone in the world with no other relative or friends to run to.
Not that he would want that anyway. Living independently was his motto! But could he really say that for the past 17 years of his life depending on his parents' money without going through an effort to work in a real job or pursue a dream?
Of course, he can!
Aaron was a master of grinding and patience, his ability to stare at the computer for ten hours straight, only to realize he just grinded over 1200 worth of monsters and leveled up tremendously. Gaming was his life, his dedication to play games and have fun--wait, no, to play competitively and prove the world that he was one of the best, if not the best. (That didn't work out for 17 years though.)

LINK was the only company he trusted. Their games have been revolutionary, experimenting with different genres and expanding their player base, be it competitive or casual gamers.
But little did Aaron know that Revelations Online was a Capsule Virtual Reality Program--CVR Project--for short. Which means that he'll be spending about five years of his life sleeping inside a capsule. Wait, sleeping?
Fuck.
Yeah.
