《Arcadias Moon.》in the city-3

In the meeting room in their "house" it is closer to the size of a mansion. I'm sitting on a couch beside Cecily with Tyrhrung on my lap. "Oh well I already have your ID ready due to the Margrave sending it with the messenger all you need to do is run your mana through it. Also I want to know who that person on your lap." I nodded "The person in my lap is Tyrhrung she is the soul that lives in my intelligent weapon, this is her -- form." "Ohh I have seen intelligent weapons before but they normally are nothing like people but like Homunculi." "Wait!" Cecily interrupted "you have seen a intelligent weapon before?" "Yes I have seen the holy sword the hero used in the past. She used it during the time when she was working for the church till the time she realized the church was using her to push a human supremacy agenda and decapitated the pope with it." "Really I want to hear more about it later, but back to our original topic." My eyes were glowing hearing about the holy sword. "Yes. Ahh the only rules you need to follow in this house are the basic common sense ones plus you have to let someone know when you leave the city. Your also allowed to use all the tools and facilities. You can also use the training grounds." I take the ID from the table and start running my mana through it. "Really? Thanks, it seems I got lucky with getting really loose terms." She smiled seeing my reaction. "Yes, I'll show you around the house." She stands up and beckons us to follow. "The first floor has the kitchen in the back with the bath beside it. The bedrooms are upstairs. The smithing room is across the hall from the alchemy room. The smithing room has a dragon stone forge, a compressed spirit stone anvil and a refinery that works for adamantine. It also has a mana furnace and many types of hammers from cast iron to mithril. It has a automata to assist you. In there is a leather working table and tool set on the wall. The alchemy room has full lab, a chemical refinery, mana infuser as well as a chemical storage that stops time. It also has two homunculi to assist you while making anything they have seen before. They can also learn new recipes after three successful attempts are recorded just like the automata " "Wow this place is like all craft workers dream!" I exclaimed Cecily spoke up bragging as if she was the one to get it and it was all hers "Yup all the highest quality of tools and materials are gathered here. Not even the capital could compare with all the stuff in here." "Ahh its not too much trouble it is just that we have had plenty of time to collect it all." Cecily had her mouth agape in response "I can assure you that not even the palace has the ability to compare to here." We spoke for a few hours to get the small details and a basic understanding of the tools until it was dinner time.

Joie de Vivre
A modern man chased immortality and found it. In a mixture of good and bad luck, he was re-born as part of the Uzumaki clan from the Naruto-verse, some few years before their scheduled destruction. But if Daichi were the sort to allow a little thing like fate to get in his way, he'd never have survived in the first place. Dedicated, intelligent, chock full of ideas from a technologically advanced society, and perfectly willing to scorch the earth, he sets out to avert history. Can he avert canon, save the Uzumaki, and forge his people into a mighty nation? Or will he fail, dooming his clan to extinction? At the end of the day, all he wants is a good life. And considering even Death itself didn't stop him, he pities whoever gets in his way. ================== Tags: Naruto, Reincarnation, OC, eventual multi-cross. ================== Author's (Brief) Note: Back by popular demand. This was my first significant fanfic (and fic in general). I wasn't happy with the writing as time went on, and took it down, but years later am still getting requests to put it back up so I guess some people liked it. Newly re-released as I finish some minor editing, there are about 100,000 words (~360 RRL pages) already written, so releases should be fast until I catch up with the backlog. That said, it may languish in hiatus at that point if the interest isn't high enough to merit continuing, so if you're the type to only read finished stories (or ones where the author promises to do so), I am very specifically not promising that. On the other hand, if enough people read, like, review, comment, rate, etc. then it will get added to my writing schedule. Generally, the character is based on a “how badass could someone who hasn't done ridiculously crazy shit be? Or, how does someone with the potential, in another setting, with a lot of luck, to be a badass act and develop as a modern, productive member of society? And then how would they deal with the Naruto-verse?” Please, please do not judge my writing by this. Unless you really like it, in which case fine, do, but recognize my other writing is likely better (unless it’s that one MTG/ASoIaF/SW fic I did over on SB as a speed-writing experiment, which is also pretty terrible).
