Todays the day to fight the goblins though I shouldn't pay to much worry this armor and Tyrhrung they shouldn't be able to damage me. "Tyrhrung turn into a sword and let's start the goblin hunt " "Ai!" I temporally store her in storage I pick up some explosive magic tools and started preparing to walk into the main room that has all the goblins. I have to make sure I check out the situation before I attack. I sneak through the door as a goblin goes in side while being in my slime form and flattening myself as much as I can making sure that I'm not noticed. I see thirty goblins sleeping and the others on watch or just indulging themselves in food and drink probably from some small peddler with this number of goblins there is already a subjugation notice from the guild so I should finish quickly. As I watch the situation I see a goblin that is 1.5 bigger than the others and cover in thick muscle and armor that seems to be the leader. "Shit a red goblin berserker" I spat unconsciously Goblins are extremely weak the only reason they have survived in this world is their reproductive power. They can breed with anything that has a womb, have an incubation period of 1 month and grow up in under 10 days. When they breed with other creatures the off-spring gets some of the features and strengths. They don't have women in their most basic forms but as they rank up and have more variations they have a chance to give birth to females which have magical power and intelligence. Having the females give birth allow quick expansion and they can have babies with more evolution destinations. These women will be deftly enough to make equipment and smart enough to make traps and control hordes in actual warfare making them difficult to deal with if they have large numbers as they will act as if they were an army. Knowing that the conditions to become a red goblin berserker are to be a "pure" goblin, and have a certain amount of strength. This means that these goblins are moving to this place from somewhere else. A horde that has a large enough amount of goblins to kick out a red berserker is a problem. This means a goblin stampede will occur. Though this happens enough to be called a 100 year cycle normally only goblin warriors are kicked out and at worst a goblin soldier or two. This will be a huge problem later I should report to an adventurers guild relatively soon...Even though they won't believe me being a slime and all. Hmm let's focus on what is before me for now and get stronger and evolve so people will take me seriously, similar to how Fenrir is now respected and feared by humans even though he is a monster. He regularly walks around town in his human form and buys rare food and doesn't attack people due to a peace treaty he signed. I sneak up behind the red goblin berserker pull out Tyrhrung stand up in full -- and swing down at full strength with both enhancement of mana and Qi as well as having perfect form and hit. ...Or I wished to say but because the differences in status he managed to react and dodges last second but not completely and receives a slash that cuts one of his arms. He turns around and looks at me full of blood lust and murder and growls at me. I take the chance and toss all the explosive magic tools in every direction and activate as soon as they are out side the range in which they will damage me. BBBBWWWwwwooooommmm After the dust clears away the only thing standing is a red goblin berserker holding a dead goblin he used a shield, all the other goblins are nothing but ashes. He dropped it and roared at me and immediately dashed at me at the same time drawing his sword. SWISSSH I instantly rolled left. He moved fast enough where I couldn't catch it with my eyes but I have enough experience to guess how and where he will swing and I take evasive maneuvers and dodge with not even a centimeter between me and his blade. After dodging for 30 seconds I notice the arm I slashed earlier bleeding and having trouble keeping up with his other arm. For a instant I see a gap after his horizontal swing, I would not miss a gap this big and step forward after the swing, trusting Tyrhrung right into his heart. ...Or not once again last second he attempts to dodge and makes me miss his heart but I hit his shoulder completely disabling his arm I slashed earlier. "It seems I under estimated the status gap" I bring up Tyrhrung face forward slightly crouch ready to pounce at the moment. Instead of murder being faced I start being faced with respect. The goblin bring up his sword as he would If I were an honorable warrior would in a duel and covers hi body in mana crouches and dashes forward. In the same instant I maximize the enhancements, activate all the fairy marks and dash forward and a few meters forward I stand. Thump I was the only one standing. Then I collapse onto my hands and knees. Then reality hits me all sound returns time moves forward and I here "Onii-chan are you okay!? Hey Onii-chan respond to me! Please Onii-chan" "Yes I am fine can you return to human form and bring the dungeon core to me, please." "Onii-chan that was really dangerous! You could have died! Why didn't you run away after the surprise attack failed !?" "Sorry, forgive me. But to be fair he really wasn't going to just let me run" I here a couple of pitter pats and I roll over to see Tyrhrung look at me pouting and having an aura of anger. At the same time I touch my face and feel a huge smile. "Here, Onii-chan we will continue after you absorb this dungeon core." "Thank you Tyrhrung" I breath in and then take the core in to my body. and immeadittly Feel a burning sensation cover my entire body and I hear Ding reached maximum level ready to evolve ingested dungeon core all status growth rate increased gained title -those who defy the odds- gained title -battle mania- gained title -brave hunter- gained title -devil hunter- gained title -dungeon conqueror- gained title -???- various skill gained various skills leveled up For now I'll eat all the corpses then I'll evolve.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

Memories of the Bean Times
To those who have survived: I write this now, for I fear my death is imminent. Barnabas Schmidt wasn't serious when he said he knew what was going on in Paris. Thomas Sauer wasn't expecting to put his life on the line studying a mysterious disease. Julia Krause wasn't trying to join a cult. And the Holy Roman Empire wasn't prepared to fight the Beans. In the year 1587, the small farming village of Dijon in the Kingdom of France is attacked by seemingly immortal monsters made out of baked beans. As Schmidt fights against the Beans on the front lines, the Beans steadily approach the Empire's borders. As Sauer searches for the Beans' weaknesses, the Church of the Beanmeister paves the way for the arrival of the God. As Krause helps the Church, she begins to question her loyalty to the Beanmeister. Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Chapters are available earlier on the Bean Times website: https://beantimes.github.io
