Have you ever been in a situation asking yourself if this is really going on? My name is Jacob Strikewing. I have always wondered how the family name came around. However I do know Strikewing if broken down into strike and wing it means battle wing or war wing. The family has a long tradition of warriors as well.
I was in the army for 4 years and fought in the 300 day war with the chinese before being injured and medically discharged. I have been struggling ever since. Now here I am in California on my first true vacation in a very long time and what happens?
Aliens show up and start abducting people and making demands for resources. 5 hours later more aliens show up and start blowing up the ships of the first group. I could have down what everyone was doing and hide hunker down and be safe but no.
I saw a few college coeds being taken while I was driving so I just had to intervene. I jump out of my truck grab my pistol and start shooting the invading fucks as fast as i can get a good line of fire. I take all four i see down before they could kill my dumb ass and wow I am thankful.
Just as I start to realize I am still alive the other guys show up look around see the dead ones and they take all of us with them to space...

This is how Sabela begins her adventure, one in which she will meet allies such as Rodolfo, a somewhat snooty healer, Melinda, a bit irritating snotty wizard, and Laura, an art history teacher who doesn't know really well what she is doing in a fantasy world.
