Why was there such a young cub here?

It was the same size as a newborn cub, maybe even smaller! It had Jay's colour of fur and was lying unconscious with bloody wounds all over its body.

Jay didn't stay dazed for long. He approached the cub cautiously and sniffed it, while occasionally licking it. He didn't know why he was doing this but it felt natural.

Only after he did that did it wake up. That's when Jay received the shock of his life! That cub had the same coloured eyes as him! Ruby red irises with vertical slits as pupils.

He couldn't help but feel a little frightened. That's when it opened its mouth and spoke.

???: "#[email protected]?"

That language was something Jay had never heard off yet he understood it clearly! He scrunched his forehead together while gazing at the baby lioness.

Jay: "Dad? Are you talking to me?"

Then it hit him. "Did this cub just speak and what language did I just speak in?" He muttered this aloud so the baby lioness immediately heard him.

???: "You can speak the Ancient language and you have the same kind of eyes like I do. You really must be my dad!"

Jay: "The hell? What's this Ancient language, child? Also, I'm not your dad!"

???: "Yes you are! The Ancient language is a language only us special Zeriphes can speak! You spoke the Ancient Language and your eyes are also the same as mine so you must be my father! This is what my master told me!"

However as she spoke about her master a sheen of sadness flashed within her beautiful eyes. She paused before continuing.

"She said that there is only one more of my kind and that I would find them soon. She said that once I do, that person would become my parent. So you're my dad!"

Jay: (Annoyed) "Damn kid! I told you I aint nobody's father! I ain't never had a woman nor did I have a child!"

???: (hik...hik..) "B-but.. you're the only one I have left..!.."

Jay: (sighs) "I don't care anymore do what you want. Anyways, what's your name?"

???: (smiles brightly) "Yay!!! My master used to call me 'Brat'!"

Jay: "What kind of fucked up shit is that?"(He thought inwardly) "Hear what, how would you like it if I gave you a better name, hmm?"

'Brat': "Really?!?! Yay! Yay! I would love for dad to give me a new name!!"

Jay just shook his head completely ignoring the word 'Dad'.

Jay: "How about Miku?"

Miku: "Miku… Miku…" (she repeated as she sunk into a deep thought) "Thank you dad! I love this name!! I'll cherish it forever and ever!"

Jay only had one thought: "How could she be so damn cute?!" He smiled before giving a light nod.

As Miku started to jump around she suddenly cried out in pain as the wounds on her body started reopening due to the excessive movements she kept on making.

Jay: "Miku, stop jumping around when you're injured."

Miku: "Sorry dad. (Whimpers) I'm just so happy that I was able to find you!"

Jay smiled wryly. She really thinks I'm her dad? So excited to meet a stranger? What a weird kid.

Jay: "Helix, bring up that notification I got when I leveled up to level 50."

Helix: [Understood sir! Here is the notification!]

[Congratulations sir for reaching the requirements for a system update! Do you wish to proceed now or later?]

Jay: "Helix, if I update, will there be any functions added that can help heal Miku?"

Helix: [Most likely sir!]

Jay: [Proceed then!]

Helix: [Understood sir! Beginning Process! Process will take approximately 3 minutes!]

Jay: "Miku, I'll give you some medicine in a while, okay?"

Miku: "Mn!" (She nodded obediently)

Helix: [Congratulations sir for successfully updating the system! The new functions are as follows: System Store, System credits and system packs!]

[Do you wish for me to explain?]

Jay: "No, I already have a brief idea about everything there. What are the items in the System store?"

Helix: [There are cultivation pills, weapons, gears, healing potions, essential everyday needs, spiritual artifacts, jewelry, system packs, special offers and more!]

Jay: "Good stuff, how much is it for an Earth Grade healing potion?"

Helix: [It costs 250 system credits! You currently have 0 sir!]

Jay: "Can I sell anything to the system and earn system credits?"

Helix: [Yes sir, you can!]

Jay: "Okay I remember when you said I can stack up my check-ins right? I stacked 'em for 2 whole years bro! Check in now and sort out the skills that are useful to me and the ones that are not. Take the ones that are not useful to me and give me my system credits."

Helix: [Understood sir! Beginning the process! Selling the skills that are not useful for the host! The process has been completed! You now have 12,000,000 system credits!]

Jay: "Holy fuck!! THAT MUCH?! Purchase it now!!"

Helix: [Purchase has been completed!]

Jay: "Miku, here drink this."

Miku: "Okay dad!"

Jay passed a small bottle of sparkling purple coloured water to Miku. She looked at it with curiosity before gulping the entire thing down. Her body was suddenly engulfed in a bright light before the blood on it completely disappeared!

Jay: "How do you feel?"

Miku: (widens eyes in surprise) "I-I feel better..? Wow! Dad is really powerful!"

Jay couldn't help but chuckle lightly hearing her words.

Jay was about to pick her up by the back of her neck when suddenly a series of memories flooded his mind!

Jay: "ROAR!!!"

Miku: "D-dad?!"

He released an immensely powerful roar as he growled in pain! In the memories he saw Miku, she was constantly in pain, begging and crying for help. There were occasionally people experimenting on her.

They were humans? No, they had beastly features. Most likely they were Demi-Humans!

When the room was empty leaving nothing but a frightened Miku, a woman who was extremely beautiful top to bottom appeared. Her curves were refined in a way that every movement she made would awaken the lusting urge of almost any man!

On her right arm was the tattoo of a lioness. It was green in colour. She started to torture Miku while saying: "Since I can't take your eyes, become a member of my Zeriphe Clan!" Yet Miku kept on declining saying that she would rather die than join her clan.

The woman was enraged! She was about to grant Miku's wish when suddenly an old woman with long white hair tied up into a bun appeared.

She had a wooden cane in her right hand that was supporting her old and fragile body and a Sai in her left! On her forehead were two short white horns.

The beautiful woman turned to look at her and immediately disappeared from her spot!

They both clashed sending out ripples of circular energies! The entire room exploded into dust as a sudden barrier appeared around Miku, protecting and slowly healing her.

Their battle lasted only for a few moments with the winner being instantly decided.

The old woman died with her head being bitten off by the woman who turned into a giant lioness the size of a mountain!

But she didn't get away without being bruised! Giant gashes were made all over her body! She fell to the ground weakly.

Miku used this time to run away and ended up in this forest. Exhausted, she fell asleep inside the cave.

The memories Jay received stopped. The pain stopped yet when he looked at Miku there was so much pain inside his chest. Tears involuntarily welled up in his eyes.

He approached Miku and embraced her with his giant paws. With a warm smile on his face he said: "Miku, I'll protect you no matter what."

Miku's tiny body trembled slightly before tears started forming in her eyes as well.

Miku: "Mn!" (She gave a light nod)

Jay: "Can you speak monster language? If so, use that way of speaking from now on because we're gonna go see grandma and grandpa okay?"

Miku: "Really?! Yay! Okay dad!"

Jay smiled lightly while he thought: "She's extremely strong willed to smile so brightly after going through so much. Well, I'd expect no less from my daughter."

Alex: "Mom, don't worry I'm sure he's fine!"

Ethan: "Yeah mom, Abaddon is a monster beyond monsters! I'm sure he'll take care of any enemy he meets!"

???: "That's a lot of fate you got in me there bro."

A sudden voice appeared next to Ethan.

Ethan: "Who?!"

Ethan turned around and clawed at the figure only to get himself pinned instead.

???: "Wow!! Daddy is super strong!"

Kira: "Abaddon!? When did you get here and who is that child?"

Jay: "Just now. Oh and this is my daughter, Miku!"

Kira, Alex and Ethan: "HUH??!"
