Jay's figure continued to flash about as he abused the hell out of ||Sprint||! He kicked off the ground and instantly appeared above the two headed snake!

He used the built up momentum gained from his new speed and instantly pierced the left side of the beast's chest!

Monster Snake: "Gahhhh!!" (It groaned in pain)

Jay made a giant hole in its body as he perfectly penetrated the location of attack, landing behind it's colossal body! He growled before once again glaring at the creature with bloodlust hinted in his eyes.

However, he grew shocked as he gazed upon the creature. It no longer had two heads but rather three!!

Jay's pupils constricted greatly before he grunted with irritation.

Jay: "This some X-MEN ﹰbullshit bro!! Helix! Is this freak gonna keep growing heads the more I destroy it's hearts?"

Helix: [Correct sir! It seems like it's a defensive trait of this monster. Most likely this monster is a rare variant!]

Jay: "I see. I guess I'll have to…"

Jay: "RUN!!"

Jay started to run even faster than before as the now three headed snake gave chase!

The snake shot out an endless stream of venomous blasts, each carrying more destructive power than the last towards Jay's sprinting body!

He continued to weave through the incoming rain of toxic attacks. Everywhere the venom landed a sizzling sound sounded as it burned through the ground with extreme ease!

Seeing this Jay's eyes bulged! "Why did my dumbass even provoke this fucker?!"

Jay: "N-no!! If I continue to run I'm just shaming my ancient ancestors even further! How dare this limbless freak of a lizard chase me?! Motherfucker I'm destined to become a kingly being!"

Jay's determination soared before he swiftly turned his body around, facing the giant and frightening creature once more.

The creature gave him a 'Accepting death?' look as it's giant shadow towered over Jay's body.

A bulging vein appeared on Jay's forehead as he no longer hesitated. Filled with rage he bared his fangs at the three headed snake while taking a crouching position.

Jay: "Divine Pride!"

He roared before pouncing straight at the giant monster! The snake's heads all sneered as it prepared many venomous blasts readying to launch them at Jay's incoming figure.

But before they could even react Jay had suddenly vanished!

As he used ||Divine Pride|| all of his stats received a massive boost! He was so fast that only after images were left behind his disappearing figure!

Although he received a major boost in stats he could only maintain this skill for a span of 30 seconds since this was the current limit for it.

He immediately appeared above it while using the roof of the cave as a foothold before kicking off with his two back legs!

His claws shone with a murderous light before it ripped one of its heads into pieces, finally piercing the second heart of the creature!

Monster Snake: "ROARRRR!!!!"

The mighty snake roared with a thunderous yet bloodthirsty tone as it grew a fourth head! It shifted its body slightly as it's now bloodshot eyes tilted along with it.

Within a hair's breadth of time it's mighty tail appeared next to Jay's face!

Jay: "Shit!! Helix, split my stat points equally and stack them into my ATK, DEF and Speed stats!!"

Helix: [Understood sir! Process has been completed! Stats have been boosted due to stat points!]

Hearing Helix, Jay grinned menacingly! Before the tail could even touch Jay's face he used a ||Cleave|| swiping his claw down with inconceivable speed!

There was only a silver blur before a green colored liquid sprayed through the air!

The tail of the monster was cleanly chopped in half! Jay kicked off the now falling tail and instantly appeared at the right side of the monster.

However it seemed as though the monster predicted it and almost immediately reacted! It's fourth head opened its mouth widely before biting down on Jay's front leg!

Jay: "GRAAA! YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! PERISH!!!" (He roared with immense rage!)

Jay was adamant! He ignored his injury and unleashed a barrage of ||Cleave|| mutilating the monster without any sheen of mercy lingering in his eyes!

Before he knew it he had finally pierced the last heart of the beast.

(Plop!)

He fell to the ground weakly while a green colored substance started coursing through his veins!

Jay felt immense pain but he soon received a series of system notices from Helix which temporarily made him forget about the pain.

Helix: [Congratulations sir for killing a rare variant of the snake clan, a Faorx King! You have received 200,000 exp!]

[Congratulations sir! You have leveled up to level 31! You have a total of 12 stat points! Your cultivation has increased to the 1st rank of the Core-Forming Realm!]

[Your mana core will now form! Beep! Congratulations sir, for successfully forming your mana core! All of the mana gathered around the inside of your body shall now enter and fill your mana core! Unlocking the host's affinities! Beep! Task completed!]

Before Jay could continue Helix sent another notice to him!

Jay: H-hell yeah!

Helix: [Understood sir! Here are the skill's details!]

Jay no longer felt any kind of pain as his new skill already finished it's work.

Jay: "This feeling is awesome! I feel so much stronger than before!! Now I'm sure I can use mana to increase my attack power!"

Although Jay could've used mana that was only to execute attacks that cost mana. He couldn't use it to amplify nor send out powerful attacks.

But now that was different, since he formed his mana core and all of the mana scattered in his body was now gathered at one point! This caused his affinities to come to life.

So now he can not only use mana to amplify the power of his attacks but also his speed of cultivation will gain a massive increase due to the crazy absorption rate of the mana core!

Jay sat at the corner of the cave and asked Helix to bring up his profile.

Jay lifted his paw into the air and unsheathed his claws! A series of crackling noises rang out within the cave as several arcs of lightning surrounded his giant paw.

Feeling no need to hold back Jay swiped down with his claws and unleashed a ||Cleave!||

A massive explosion rippled out as the floor underneath Jay's feet caved in forming a massive crater!

Jay: "H-holy shit! That was just one affinity!? I don't even wanna imagine what would happen if I use all three together…!!"

Calming down Jay looked at his mana and saw that it went down by quite a lot. Confused he asked Helix to change the mana stat into something simpler.

Helix: [Hm, I see your brain may have some bad functions sir.]

Jay: "Oi!"

Helix: [Joke just a joke sir! But yes I can make it simpler for you! Beginning process. Beep! Process has been completed! Do you wish for me to explain it?]

Jay: "(Sigh) Sure."

Helix: [Understood sir! When the mana is low it will show as low. When it's half full it will show as half and when it's full it will show as max!]

Jay: "Very simple! I like it. But what if I want to use a skill but it requires a high amount of mana and I don't even know how much I have or if it's sufficient how will I solve that problem?"

Helix: [Sir, don't worry the system will send out a notice if your mana is insufficient! If it is sufficient the system will also notify you!]

Jay: "Gahhh! So simple I love I-"

Jay was about to finish his sentence when suddenly the entire ground began to violently shake! He sensed several massive energies heading his direction.

Sensing the foreboding danger he used ||Hell's Misery|| on the Faorx King and gained a massive amount of exp!

Helix: [Congratulations sir you have leveled up to level 32! You are now at the 2nd rank of the Core-Forming Realm! Your skill ||Hell's Misery|| has reached level 2!]

Jay felt confident now! He could now sense the true strength of the upcoming beasts! Among them the strongest ones were at the 3rd rank of the Core-Forming Realm.

With Jay's current stats he could fight with 3rd rank Core-Forming Realm experts and eventually overpower them during a fight!

He swaggered out of the cave and sat down blocking it's entrance while holding his head high up as his ruby red irises and his vertical slit pupils glowed with an arrogance unrestrained by his ancestors!

The beasts drew closer yet Jay only smirked showing off a pair of white fangs!

Jay: "Heh, more precious exp points are coming my way!!!"
