Chapter 9 – It’s Begun

Yes, my plan… hhuuh the first step to our plan is where Diden will play the major part. You are responsible for escorting some important people to the King’s chamber, aren’t you?

Perfect, next time you have to escort someone important you will be switching the VIP with me as the VIP, Aluvia as a prisoner, and finally Kiria as my pet. No offense.

!!I do not mind being your pet at all Master!! (Wagging her tail vigorously)

Once we get into his chamber the big battle begins, we will have to fight off all the guards under his command. I am sure that the Zex dude will be there. So, get ready because we are definitely going to be fighting multiple people at once. We will always be outnumbered. (Of course, I would prefer taking the guards out of the equation completely.)

I understand your plan completely but do you really think something this simple will work. Also, what would the chances of it working be?

You get too anxious Aluvia, see not all plans need to be complex and without holes to work, sometimes simple is best. As for the success rate that depends on how you answer my question.

I have not, but I have heard people say that he is a really powerful warrior.

The last question then, does he get flustered by loud sounds??

*cough* umm Storm so what are the chances of this plan working??

You should relax knowing the probability of something is not something one should worry about.

BUT… it would be good to know, we could then make a new plan which is more likely to succeed.

Calm down and prepare that is all you need to do. Because the next time that Diden is going to escort someone is when we strike. That is all.

Now Aluvia to make your tensions go away. Let us discuss the plan in a bit more “detail”.

Three days had passed since the plan was discussed… everyone was off doing their own thing some being anxious, some… playing and some going around fighting monsters… but none were preparing for battle.

4 DAYS LATER…

Mr. Storm, I have been informed that today we will be escorting a very important noble’s son.

Took seven days huh!! How much protection do you think that kid will have??

I would say a lot, you see his father is one of the richest nobles. He is the main source of income for Lionel.

Where is his father right now?

He is away on business. I believe it will take him at least another week to come back

I don’t believe he does because it is the boy’s first-time visiting Estelle.

Well… I feel sorry for making his first time here in Estelle a very bad experience but he is the best person for this. We will swap the boy and his guards as planned. Diden will bring us to the King’s chamber, I will pretend to be the noble’s boy, Kiria will act as my pet, and Aluvia you will be pretending to be my prisoner. That is all, … *exhales*now LET’S TAKE A NATION AWAY from its ruler.

A few hours later and the sun was up. Everyone was in place waiting to attack. A carriage finally comes into view. The carriage crosses the bridge which connects the Kingdom of Balance with the Noble’s Kingdom and finally enters the Kingdom of Balance as planned Diden welcomed the Noble’s son Castelukas alongside Diden were Aluvia, Storm, and Kiria who had switched places with the Noble’s who were supposed to be there to control Diden.

Sir Castelukas I hope that you did not have any trouble getting here.

I did not have any trouble aside from the broken roads on the bridge. (He said in a condescending voice.)

I am truly apologetic for that. How about you have a drink after which we can proceed towards the castle.

Sure, that would be great.

*smiling**claps*please pour the great sir a drink… something that will help him unwind from the stress of the journey.

Aluvia pours a glass of juice for Castelukas and hands it to him. Castelukas had finished the drink in one go without a second thought.

Ahh… well that was decent let’s make a move to the capital you minotaur sla…v-v-e…*drops*

SIR CASTELUKAS what has happened? (One of his guards screamed.)

Please, Sir, do not worry I am sure it's just the fatigue kicking in. come to think of it you must have not had a lot of sleep yourself am I right? You should sleep it will help you relax… Dreamer’s Fog. (An acquired skill that makes the target fall asleep if certain conditions are met.) There we go you guys rest up we will take care of everything from here on out…

*in fading sight* Damn… you whoever you are.

Name’s Storm an Abnormal… let’s go guys the first step of the mission is a success. No fighting was required a truly splendid job. (Wait for me Lionel, I am going to be there soon.)

Without any fighting of any sort Storm and the others along with a group of night-eye wolves, and Minotaur’s began phase two of the plan to take over Estelle. Closing in on Lionel Loklowe what lies ahead a twist of fate or the end for all monsters in the city of Estelle. Only time will tell…
