At first I feel nothing, think nothing, hope for nothing but now I can think, dream, and feel for who knows how long I have stayed then I felt it I can feel someone coming. He stood right in front of me flipping the pages to the secrets that I hold I let him read the pages and the secrets within. Then suddenly I was taken off the pedestal and hastily put into a bag when I hear a friend of his call for him
(Merlin's Friend)"Hey Merlin you find anything? We need to go now before the city gates closes"
(Merlin)"Yea I'm found nothing of value in here just rotting books that will never be read"he said with a sad face.
They started to walk and talk about the new dungeon in the north and other random stuff. When they finally reach the city the guard's ask about his finding and let him in. In a inn he started to read and read until morning then he decided after talking with his friend to move into mountains were a tower stood there he read and researched me. The friend left after a few years saying that the tower is getting boring and he wants follow his dream to go out and explore the world.
After he left the tower got a lot more boring and Merlin? he is still researching trying to make some kind of spell saying something about going back in time whatever. Point is he's boring so I decided to sleep well I don't need sleep but it shaves off the boredom so why not?

After a few decades of the same schedule of Merlin researching then making the spell circle failing and repeat though the circle are getting more complex and taking more energy. I'm starting to feel something in the air after his 200th? 300th? each time he fail the experiment the more he forgot about me until I was left on a self to collect dust. Then after a few more time of him repeating the experiment something went off it was a ding sound like a bell with a blue screen appearing.

Ok so it must be Curse of The Fallen Gods fault for the locked stats and the error status must be me being unkillable because of me being The Arcane Book of Life And Death, ... I think. Ok if I got this whole thing right I'm going to need to practice mana sensing to level it up well at less this time I have something to do.
After a few days of trying to sense mana I finally got it to Lv.5 I would have don't it for a bit longer but Merlin started screaming about it something and knocking books all around me with a huge wave of mana washing over me moments later Knocking me out. After some time I woke up again thinking that Merlin failed again but then I notice that there were no sad lonely old man crying in his usual corner...
