My horse trotted slowly along the ruined road towards the lake.
Arthur seemed really angry when he saw the girl’s form.
I wonder if he knows something about her?
This city gives me nothing but questions.
NEIGH!
Hm?
My horse started to freak out for some reason and refused to move forward.
I looked closely at the road, it was dark and many trees lined it.
Something was strange, small droplets of water were slowly falling up.
Oh no.
FLASH
Water started to rush up around us from the ground.
She was trying to encase us in an orb of water.
Damn it, I should’ve noticed sooner.
I tried to turn the horse around but the water wouldn’t let me.
It wrapped itself around me and pulled me off, the horse was harmlessly let go.
“WHAT DO YOU WANT?”
I shouted to what I assumed was the girl.
My entire body except for my face was engulfed by water and suddenly a face appeared in front of me.
[Who are you]
She said in a voice that sounded like she was underwater.
“Is this how you treat someone who freed you?”
Ugh.
I felt an increasing weight on my chest.
[Interesting, this isn’t your real body. But no one can know what I am. I’ll have to kill you twice]
She pulled me in the center of her watery form and started to crush me.
My throat, my lungs, and even my eyes were feeling intense pressure.
Even though this form was made of mana, it didn’t mean I couldn’t feel the pain.
But situations like this was why I created this skill.
It’s time to go back to my normal form. . .
This was risky since I didn’t want her to see my form either.

[Fireball]
Like any other spell, with enough mana poured in to it the spell will be magnified.
Bubble Bubble Bubble
The water around me started to heat up and she started to loosen her grip.
Good, now for the finisher.
I increased the heat even further and started to rapidly increase the size of the fireball.
[!!!]
She dropped me promptly when it grew to the size of a man.
[How do you like this?]
Water started to trickle up from the ground and in to my mouth.
Looks like she’s trying to kill me by ripping me up from the inside of this form.
Too bad this won’t work on me.
I pushed the fireball further and it became like a mini sun.
She finally gave up and started to rush down the path.
“You look like you could use some sun!”
I said as I finally unleashed the fire ball.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The explosion rocked the entire area and created a giant crater.
I was thrown back very far in to some trees.
My mana form finally failed and I returned to being an elder dragon.
ROOOAAARRRR
I couldn’t help but roar as soon as I became normal.
If someone was here, they’d be treated to two eardrum rupturing sounds right after the other.
Ahh, it was nice to have scales again.
WOOOOSSHHH WOOOOSSHHH
As usual whenever my wings flapped, trees would creak in the wind created.
Though I was technically over a millennium old, my growth was stunted during the time I slept.
Right now, I was about the size of a two-story building.
I could easily snap a human in half but I could only fit half their bodies in my mouth.
Well I don’t eat human but I’ve fought some during my time in their land.

This was probably not conspicuous at all, so I found a small clearing close to the crater and landed.
It’s time I go all out, I started to concentrate and focused on a human shape.
I accidentally used this once and only refined it after I met a regular dragon.
Dragons could turn themselves in to humans but it required some amount of mana in order to force the transformation.
As it stands elder dragons have no ability to use magic and as a result, can’t manipulate it.
But I could and I hated using this way of transformation.
I was told it was relatively painless for dragons to do this.
For me it was agonizing pain.
GAAAAHHHHH.
I was literally crushing my body down to size.
The way I understood it, I was releasing the mana in my dragon body.
But I still retained control over it so magic wise I should be as strong.
I would have to reabsorb it in order to bring my dragon form back.
Although, I figured out if you only absorbed a certain amount back you could get very powerful.
You could grant dragon abilities to your human form, physically of course.
Like say grow scales that were almost as tough as my regular ones or claws that could slash through almost anything.
But that was like a trump card for me in fights, granting me the agility of a human form and the power of a dragon.
Though right now, I didn’t feel any of that power.
Huff Huff Huff
I was sprawled out on the ground and taking slow breaths.
This really drained me and also it was really uncomfortable.
Human skin is soft and the rocks on the ground were digging in to me right now.
Yep, when my real body appeared it tore through my clothes.

Hey yo. This is gonna be more of a diary entries than a story but hey. This will contain some game aspects, reincarnation and blah blah blah.1st arc: Well isn't this just dandy. This story follows a random guy who just happens to win a poker match against a whole pantheon of gods in an ametuer poker tournament. He won the tournament then went home, afterwards dying by slipping on a banana peel to an open manhole then being eaten by a sewer croc of legends. Ok fine he died by hitting his head too hard on the concrete floor. The random guy just so happens to die on the same day as eleven other random people caused by slipping of a banana peel. Oh yeah they also have beaten the mentioned pantheon of gods one way or another, well an example would be rock paper scissors, an mmo, drinking games and more. In simple terms they're shit at games. What could possibly go wrong.
